We bought a Gladius mini and it was great the first run. But it didn't last. The motors are not geared for underwater. They rust and sand scores them. Even if they are run in freshwater for some time after use. I suspect most of the cheaper ones are the same.

The Qysea would be great for elderly and disabled to do with their families on snorkeling trips.
I want to have a torpedo sized drone attached to the side of my boat for deep recon

There's some more expensive drones who can get underwater for more time and very deep depths. But expect the price of a car.
Idea.. make it wireless to a floating bouy that sends sonar pulses to control the drone

when someone says "through extensive research and testing" when none of the videos include your own material - hahaha - extensive my a$$. just stole few videos from the internet so that YT will finance you another day .

@@amberheardsdog it’s true. An rc submarine on radio frequencies can probably work on shallow water. Maybe a few Inches it works but the deeper it goes it’ll start to lose the signal. Exact numbers idk off the top of my head. Search it up on Google. Someone probably has a better explanation than me.
