Bought this septic treatment 6 months ago and can honestly say its been a life saver :) We were using a different brand but apparently it wasn't doing much because our septic system started to backup and our house was starting to stink. Switched to Flush Time and aprox 10 days later the stench was completely gone. FYI we used 1 pill per week during the first month to get our quickly bring our septic bacteria levels back to normal and after that we've been flushing one pill per month as indicated. Best septic treatment ever!

Been on flush time for about a year now and we are super happy, no more bad smells!! This comparison is good and similar to the research I was doing, luckily my septic service company turned me on to this.

I tried all the products available, liquids, pods, granular and never got the smell to disappear completely. Some odors always kept coming again. These tiny capsules finally got the smell controlled. I apply two per month because my septic is quite big. Highly recommend.

Very interesting product. A friend of mine recommended the brand a long time ago. Later I saw them on amazon and gave the product a try. I'm not the penny - pinching type of guy but I can honestly say I'm saving some money. We used to have another brand laying underneath the toilet and used it "once a month" as suggested but my wife was also using it "once a month". Anyways, it's a good product. it's been almost 7 months and the product works perfectly. Really liked the tracking system. Brings peace of mind. Cheers!

How is it doing 3 years later?

We used to be loyal Green Gobbler customers until it simply failed us at controlling septic odors. Switched to Flush Time and it has worked wonders for our septic tank with the added benefit of completely eliminating bad odors. Two thumbs up!

Hadn't heard of this brand before; curious to give it a try despite not having septic issues at the moment :)

How does using beach in our wastewater affect these products in our septic?

All septic tanks work on the basis of live bacteria processing organic waste. However, chemicals such as bleach kill these live bacteria... Depending on the amount and frequency at which chemicals are poured into the septic tank, bacteria may die faster than they can reproduce and therefore waste starts building up until your septic system is backed up. Hence the need to routinely replenish live bacteria to keep your system in check.

@@fabalf Bacteria in your septic tank is what breaks down the solids and makes it work. Bleach kills bacteria. I agree, it would be nice to know which of these products works best with cancelling the effects of beach in the waste water
