S8,S9 was peak Samsung era I hope they go back to thinner easier to hold ones,not cheating out on resolution and adding a curved screen option for all sizes keeping a small size in the lines up without cutting down on specs The ultra is ridiculous in both a good and a bad way.difficult to carry around

Just got an S22U-512 in Mint condition for $460 on eBay. Ended up being a seller in my own town. Anywho, it'll be replacing a Note9 as my work phone most likely. Was the best b 4 b imo. The 20U and 21U weren't much cheaper when I was looking. Cheers.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra are the absolute best smartphones on this list in my opinion. I would take either of these phones if I was on a budget. However out of the two, even though I love both of them, I would definitely pick the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra over the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Both phones are phenomenal but I absolutely love the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra's aesthetic more with its squared off, boxy, rectangular shape and sharp corners/edges, plus the fact it comes with the S Pen included in the phone. This is a huge part of the reason I am so in love with my current Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Got handed down a Galaxy Note10 recently, was a massive upgrade from my J4+ that served me for the last 6 years, everything I do is snappy on that phone. I just have to replace the battery on that. But overall its an absolutely amazing phone from the screen, camera and performance. Also is that Vegas?

hey Matthew, I've been watching your videos for a long time, since the time you recommend lg v60. I wanted to buy that phone but I had no money. but it's time for me to get a new phone since my old one died after 5 years of use. I have the budget of 250 usd. within this in my region, i can get a s21 5g or s21 fe or pixel 7a. all I want is a good camera and speakers and a decent phone. and I'm leaning towards the s21 5g because of smaller size and good camera. my only concern is the battery degradation and since it's already been used for 3 years. can it last me the next 3/4 years atleast? or should I get something brand new like a moto edge 50 fusion or smth like that?

The in hand ergonomics of the S21 Ultra were fantastic considering what a behemoth it was. Not necessarily a curved screen fan but I really like the phone overall.

All phones should bring back micro SD. They should have done that when they forced the cable change on iphones.

It's still there bro. Usually the second Sim tray facilitates the micro SD spcard. It's either 2nd Sim or micro SD in most phones.

Agreed on all fronts here. Also love how your basing prices on Amazon refurb and other more accurate to market sources. So far I've grabbed the 12r and the 2a and I haven't been disappointed by either, especially that 12r display and 2a battery. wife has a 21 ultra STILL (since launch) and now my daughter has the OnePlus 9 which she adores, and that was a 175$ nib with cases and screen protectors and all, still feel proud of that find. Such a solid phone nowadays for the low low low

So I have been using an old s7+ as an mp3 player haha. Is there any NEWish phone I can use just to tether to my vans internet? That I can use in the gym like an ipod? Load it up with mp3s? I dont like to stream music hahaha, I have a massive library that I bought and also converted from cds. I have been converting everything I use to USBC to minimize cables now, and I just got an ipad mini 6! Which has been awesome for work and entertainment! My current phone is a dumb phone for now haha, as I havent decided if I will go with the new iphone in a smaller size for portability sake, and just use an android phone for an mp3 player and using other apps and emulator that are on android I enjoy using!

Got myself a traded in s21 ultra 16/512 from a reputable store. Phone would reboot randomly. Googled the issue and it seems to be a VERY common issue with these new Samsung devices and require a new motherboard which was nearly the same cost as the phone itself so back it went to the store and im back with my 7 year old Note8 that is still kicking without any issues. Would've loved to upgrade... But alas... New doesn't always mean better!

Yes…but I definitely had overheating problems if I filmed outdoors while hot…..but I’m a pretty light user so no major issues for me.

s21 ultra was the best phone I've ever had. If I hadn't dropped and cracked the screen a couple week's ago. I never would have upgraded to the s24 ultra. Definitely keep a case on whatever you get. Again, s21 ultra I'd of kept it forever.

One question if you purchase an older android phone in which the life cycle for OS and Security updates has already ended will the phone automatically update to the latest OS and security update that was available for the phone?

I had the Honor 6 pro, I sent it back within the 14 return period. The main camera is good, but the zoom is terrible. The battery wasn't as good as expected. I'm going to hold onto my pixel 7 pro and see what else comes out this or next year.

If you actually compare the specs between these and the new phones . The upgrades are extremely minimal at best. I honestly believe from like 2020 onwards the devices coming out still hold up extremely well today.

I think the price drop down on s21 ultra is the update thing only for 1 year left tho

I got the pixel 7 , not thr pro and damn was that phone awesome. Battery life was good the cameras were top notch , the speakers were great and i loved the build quality. Lastly i got it refurbished so yes even when it was used the battery was still good like damn .

interesting, for me wasn't the best and lasted only 2 days before i sold it 😂, what's bothered me the most was the volume on wireless earbuds, if i lower the volume i couldn't hear enough and if i bump up one time was too loud, very annoying that they can't fix this issue that it's lasting since pixel 6

I'm on both the s22 + and s21 + used sets. They're more than sufficient for my usage. In fact the s21 + runs on exynos and has a decent battery life. Its crazy how some people are reviewing these phones as somewhat evil when they came out lol. When I actually use them, they are good. Well now samsung in my place has come up with 40% discount when I trade in the S22 +. Its a s22 series deal, suppose they are trying to get rid of it from the market. I might think about changing lol. Although the magic 6 pro is very tempting

Watching because I changed my mind on the S24+. Seems these "older" phones are still good. Phones are like cars. The price drops.

Lg v60 all the way. Great performance. Best in the current market (still) audio. Great camera. Amazing battery life. Full manual camera modes if that's your thing. Aaaannnd I got it with android 13 from China for £180 brand new. 🎉

I had used S21 ultra for 3 years and it worth every penny u throw on it. Just need to buy 15$ spen and it will unlock so many function such as translate on screen. Camera is a bit harsh but i have fun time with 3x and 10x optical zoom. U will need to charge it 2 times a day or simply just throw it on wireless charging pad. Highly recommend that phone

Paid 270 pounds for my s22 ultra in good condition off 4gadgets,runs fantastic on one ui 6.1 and it's exynos version,Samsung really have improved with software it runs better than new.

Whaaaat I own an S22+ and I ve been considering to upgrade I guess I dont really need to upgrade as I still have a very excellent phone, and expecting to get that 6.1 update What makes me consider upgrading is that this S22+ is my first flagship I bought , and even though I got it on a very good sale, I do not want its value to be very decreased as it gets old because I could sell it and that way I could not spend as much as just buying a new model, or even using the Samsung Trade in program to exhange it

I got an s22 ultra (cracked front screen) for $375 and fixed the screen for $25 with my phones insurance since the insurance covers my plan and not the phone I was on. So I got an s22 ultra for $400 and it looks brand new now

*edited Awesome video! Please weigh in- Brand new A55 or pristine S22ULTRA for just under 150 USD more? (From a legit online store with a one year warranty).
