Heat, Hell or High Water, Point Break ('90), The Town, the Place Beyond the Pines, and Den of Thieves (much pulpier and not quite to the level of the others I listed, but i really enjoy it.)

Realistic and true facts about Charlestown. More bank robberies there yearly thank anywhere else in the states combined. May have slowed down now but years ago they were top of the game. Just like the guys that pulled off the largest art heist in the world also in Boston as well.

The prey of man has to be one of the best it has so much attention to detail it’s insane as well as being such a great movie

Heat continues to be one of my favorite bank robbery/action movies of all time.

A lot of the movies treat the Other with prejudice and even racism. This is also a fact if one bothers to read critiques. The US has the most powerful army in the world and it is a hegemon. Like any hegemon it requires different machines to justify itself and to accompany its corporations, be it MacDonalds or Coca Cola. Also, compared with a few Italian, French and German movies, it is another evidence of the mediocrity of its productions. Hell or high water and heat is the best robbery film on my list 🤟

The Town is one of my favorite bank heist movies of all time. The way the film was portrayed to show the real intensity behind robbing a bank was just incredible. Ben Affleck, Jeremey Renner and Jon Hamm were EXCELLENT!

Inside Man with Clive Owen, Willem Dafoe and the goat Denzel Washington. Nice plot twist!

Hell or High Water was also a great movie. Ben Foster is always magnificent on screen, he’s very underrated but his acting is incredible

I remember watching a movie, I believe it was French where a group of young adults from a poor background devised a plan to do multiple heists to save a kid with cancer I think??? I saw the movie years ago and can't remember much about it apart from the fact it involved some parkour and a scene where 3 members of the group went into a mansion and got chased by guard dogs. Not really a bank robbery movie but a great movie from the little i can remember. Anyone know the name of the movie I am talking about?
