Hey Jacob - IMO your one of the best at finding fish with sonar - I'm learning to locate fish with new Lowrance HDS units and would definitely appreciate you doing a video dedicated to how you locate bass with your electronics and then decide what baits to throw at 'em to trigger the bite. Enjoy your channel bud!

Thank u Jacob for the info. I'm sure it will help me get more bites. I really can't wait to try the largo shad on a smaller jig head. Hope you have a great year.
Jacob, this is some of the best information I’ve ever gotten. Telling us the depth for the lipless vs the silver buddy is priceless. Can wait to go put in some work in January, February, and March to go try and catch my pb smallie, largie, and musky!
Thank you for these types of information!!!
2023 what? Let's goooo!!!
Brings back a lot of memories we fish year round here in West Virginia also travel some to like your videos I'm a older guy in my 50s
I’m totally blown away by this video. In my opinion it’s the best you’ve ever made. The information and explanations are the best and most helpful you’ve ever given. Thanks, you’re the best!
thanks for the tips jacob!!! learn something new everyday!!
Great content, thanks for the monthly updates on baits...I wanna see that new boat your sitting in.
Great video. Very helpful. Cheers 🍻
Perfect, I turned captions on so I could take notes. Thank you sir.
Thanks, JW, those are very in depth coaching points, appreciate it!
Excellent tips for starting the new year! Thanks!
Thank you very much for the information and clarity awesome!
Thanks for all of your great information on your video's and have a great New Year and good fishing
Always enjoy your videos
Really enjoy your videos !!
Thanks Jacob. Great explanation of the baits - why and where to throw 'em.
Absolutely spot on brother!!!
Awesome. Thanks for sharing
THANK YOU FOR TEACHING US SOME KNEW WAYS.
You always go the extra mile on the best baits because you tell how, where, & when, that's great coming from a pro like yourself, I've learned alot from them! I was wondering if you've tired the hybrid hunter bait by SK? Happy New Year!🎣
Couldnt wait for the video!
What’s up Wheels?!?! I tried the Damiki rig yesterday (jan 2) on my local lake, and did great! I still use 2D sonar, but have gotten very good with it. I appreciate your instructional vids on the rig, and my success yesterday was because of you! Keep on sharing your impressive knowledge of bass fishing!
Always great content, thank you! Can you do a video on your new bass cave/garage? Thanks again!!!
I'm tempted by the 3.5" Largo Shad, but I like the results of the 3.8" Rhythmwave the best. Happy New Year!
Great video thanks for the info..
Awesome info I will try it out
Great winter time fishing video. Use shad raps all the time in the cold water situations
Great choices in baits and how to use them, the #5 shad rap is the sleeper in the group (most people don't throw it). Best of luck in 2023!!!
I always keep a shad rap 7 regular and shallow tied on. Burn and stop the shallow shad rap just makes them go nuts.
Thanks for sharing!
Great explanation’s on your choices. 👍
Great information
Thanks Jacob, good luck in 2024🎉
SOME GREAT INFO BRO 👊🏿
Best wishes for a great 2023!
Love those first few baits!!! I got me a little half ounce jig. Googan micro jig!!
Like always great video
Thanks for the great info...
Love your videos
Let’s see more of that boat!
Thanks for mentioning us bank anglers. It would be great to get a few more tips on the future. Love the channel!

I’d recommend getting an inexpensive kayak Kevin. They’re worth every penny!
How is this for a suggested topic? Can you discuss boat positioning. When do you throw paraĺlel to the shore vs cast at a 45" angle or throw directly to shore. Another part of boat positioning is throwing to a fallen tree or stumps.
I’ve been doing great with deep diving cranks in 47-55° water. Actually did the best on the coldest days
DING. #1 on the water
Come back up here to Indiana and make a winter fishing video up here man. That would be awesome!
Those VMC screw lock jig heads are the best heads hands down👍🇺🇸 Merica
Thanks
I love that Regurgitated Shad colored Magic Man. The eyes on that particular color is quite funny too. Lol.
Yo dude that absolute very best lipless bait to do the jig and rip off the bottom technique is the Jackall TN60 or TN70. Caught 2 of my biggest smallmouth and largemouth of the year this past November. Highly recommend it if you haven’t tried it yet!
A white rooster tail is also a great winter bass bait.
Well Done Jacob. Awesome video sir.

Hi there Jacob, thanks for this video A LOT of really good info.....how do you feel about bladed jigs in the winter?
Glad to see that new boat has the trolling motor laying down flat
i use alot of jig heads green pumpkin in deeper clear lakes! my PB i caught on a jig head!!
Great tips ! Can you do a spybaiting video ? Appreciate the tips !
Im just ready to see that boat
Hey Jacob how about doing a 5 best locations to fish on your lake also. This would be great. Thanks
Went to a small state lake that had had ice on it yesterday. Fish were out in 28 to 40 feet of water suspended off the bottom. I tried small swim baits but no luck. Pulled out the Silver Buddy, 1/2 oz on 10 lb test. 4 bass and 9 crappie in 45 minutes slowly vertical jigging it.
What is your rod, reel, and line setup for the shad rap? I love your videos.
Can you do something show us how to use forward facing sonar and how it helps you during the year?
Good info. I fish a river system in southeast Georgia and I was wondering what you would recommend for January and February
Old school. Small hair jig bare when wtr tmp bottoms. Zoom tiny chunk later. Can't find tiny chunk anymore fish mostly Norris Drop flies down ledges to 35ft.
I picked up a few of the Rapala Glass Shad Raps and we are going to find out if they produce over the balsa this year. Should be good for this clear water I have up north. Rapala Shad Rap#5, OG Slim, and Largo Shad are my cold water go to baits 45 degrees and colder. Peace.
Try Red and Black in January, especially in low light. Delta is a good one by Rapala.
Good info. What brand of jig is that?
How about a video on cold water small swim bait fishing?
Whats your thought on damiki and dropshot during that super cold water?

I love a drop shot in winter. I’ve had plenty of days I had to switch to the drop shot to get a bite.
What’s the biggest Shad Rap you’d ever throw if you needed a big kicker fish in a Texas tournament after you already had a big limit in the boat?
Happy New years 20023
We wanna see that Ikon brother, let's us see it already.
An umbrella rig works well at this time of year, regardless of you, Jacob, not being able to use it on tour. (It's a good off-season lure.) Also, larger glidebaits/swimbaits fished slowly off of the bottom near and around structure is a great way it entice larger bass to bite, during the middle of the wintertime. (It's a larger meal for a larger fish, that doesn't require a lot of energy for the target fish to attack it, if it is fished slowly and closely to the target fish to create a reaction bite.) You can also just watch bowl games and occasionally go hunting until the Springtime, and wait until it's warmer to be on the water...lol!!!!

What spinning reel do you mainly use ?
My picks also .
Jacob. Is the swimbait on a spinning rod or bait caster?
I there a way you can break down pre spawn spawn and post spawn from a bank anglers situation ??
Jake I live in New York about 65 miles south west of Buffalo NY what would suggest of crank bait to use
👊🏾
IS DC running a ikon next year 🤔
Show us that new boat, quit hiding it just show it 🤣😂🤣 no really.. show it! ✌️💪🎣
Do you slow roll a spinnerbait this time of year.
In the new boat 😅
How can I win one of your new boats?? Man they look so sick from the small previews!🎣
What boat will you be using for the first Tournament of the season
The OG Slim has become my favorite crank bait. How do you find spots on highland reservoirs where they tend to go deep? Will there always be fish shallow?
@FullTimeFishing
Жыл бұрын
I would say main lake and secondary points on your highland reservoirs? Where I’m at they tend to pull up shallow on really warm sunny days or sometimes on cloudy days they will come up to feed. Good luck!

What jig was that !!?
That deck is bigger than my living room😂.
Do bass actually contemplate where to go to spawn?
What jig was that? Looked like and eco pro or keitech

I love my eco pro jigs! Glad to see someone else uses them.
You need to get out ice fishing bro 🥶
is it me or does the Shad Rap get hung up a lot?
A lipless anytime!! Throw one in a cup of water and catch a bass. Especially if you use the mod from my video, feels like a cheater bait.
