Really didn't think this would be that subjective, but Strider, Virgil, and Phoenix are definitely the scariest anchors in this game

Strider doesn't have the damage output to thrive in the anchor position. Even with X-Factor level 3, he still needs far too many openings.

@@Richterdgf I literally show in the video that he can take ANYONE down with a single hit in X-Factor 3... If it's not Thor, then you can do it even faster and without needing meter most of the time...

​@OneHeroes Strider CAN win from the anchor spot, but in a 1 vs. 3 scenario he needs too many openings and will likely run out of X-Factor before he can finish the job. This is because Legion SUCKS and can't be relied upon to finish an opponent off. Against highly skilled opponents (watch a few TNS tournaments) Strider's deficiencies in the anchor position become readily apparent.

Vergil had to be the on the 1st place, You have to snap him in if you don't want to become Sisyphus trying to win a round against one.

I agree 100% with this list but I would have wolverine in there instead of amaretsu ....ive seen and had solo many wolverine comebacks in xfactor just using wolverine speed up special...he becomes wayyy tooo fast and can get in fast and i believe he has the best dive kick in the game

I'm surprised Akuma isn't on this list. Not only does he do massive damage, but his supers also do massive chip. So with lv3 x factor, he could easily kill a character from afar just from chip

Teaching my brother how to play Super Skrull was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I lost SO many matches I should have had in the bag thanks to X-factored Elastic Slam. Great list. Very glad you didn't forget Amaterasu. I really wish she was more popular outside of the anchor position because she has a really cool moveset and Okami is one of my favorite games of all time. If I were gonna make an honorable mention, it would be Spencer. While he does benefit from assists, everything that makes him a good point character also makes him a great anchor. The ability to happy birthday pretty much any assist in the game into a double kill is absolutely terrifying. He might not have as much team synergy as the other characters on this list, but a Spencer anchor can never be counted out. All it takes is one mistake and he can flip the entire game in the blink of an eye.

should've mentioned that other counters to dark phoenix outside of different tech would be stuff like strider x factor ouroboros and vergil spiral swords

Oh for my top 5 anchors are super skrull because he is so versitile and has some good damaging moves Akuma because his suppers are very useful to punish from close or long range Dante is also 1 of my favorites because all his special moves alone side Xfactor makes him so dangerous I also wanna say firebrand because he has a very trick unblockable move on its own and the fact that he builds meter so easy and fast makes him for me a very good anchor or point And my personal favorite is spencer because he is one of those characters that 1 hit means death for the oponent and his bionic lance super is invinicble

Cool Top 5! I honestly can't control Firebrand in X-Factor 3 while he is using the install super hahaha Probably the fastest character along side Wolverine in Berserker Charge mode!

Personally, my best anchor is Spider-Man (Not counting Phoenix Wright in turnabout) Top 5 best characters for it though are 1.Vergil 2.Vergil 3.Vergil 4.Vergil 5.Vergil

I agree with a lot of the selections on this list. Your top 3 are all characters i put on anchor in the 3 teams i play the most. I wouldnt say Dante is as good of an anchor as Skrull because dante lacks damage output even with the lvl 3 xfactor, so id put dante at 5 if on the list at all. I would honestly switch him out with a cross-up god like wesker, even though wesker is a pretty well known character.

Spoiler Alert! . . . . My quick guesses before watching the video included your top three. But I'd have put Ammy ahead of Strider because of his infinite sword loops and resourcefulness. My guesses that weren't on your list were Akuma, Hawkeye, 2011 meta Wesker heh.
