    Capcut is definitely my go to app. I hope Premier Pro people shows off Capcut, by having fully customizable subtitle animations. For instance you animate the animation you want on a word, the applying the effect to active state of the captiom that would be crazy.

    For the Premiere Pro captions, I'm confused on what that anchor point is. What is it and why does it have to be moved?

  • @PremiereGal

    @PremiereGal

    5 ай бұрын

    good question! Anchor point is the default center point of the frame, and it doesn't default to the center of the Text itself, hence why I recommend changing it so the scale will happen from the center of the text and not the entire video frame.

    Does firecut allows personalization of the captions? (font, size, colour) Still for the price I would go for Cupcut if they allow to export the captions with alpha. or submachine lifetime license.

  • @PremiereGal

    @PremiereGal

    5 ай бұрын

    Yes. You can stylize it and save your own presets with Firecut. For sure the only downside of firecut is the price. Submachine lifetime is a great alternative and I mean capcut is free, you can just export your final video and add captions to it in capcut

    Submachine is a great option for intermediate editors, a steeper learning curve, but lots of options and it has a lifetime option -- which none of these have. So you made a good call if you're a pro editor!

    @@PremiereGal Thank you for taking the time to reply. I guess it might be due to the difference in systems or regions that the versions are different. It's a pity that I can't use these features. I'll see if there will be any changes when I switch to a Macbook later.

    is it possible to make 2 languajes at the same time?

  • @PremiereGal

    @PremiereGal

    5 ай бұрын

    Yes, that is one benefit of Premiere Pro is you can have make two sequences, one for english and one for the translation for example, then you can upload a .srt file of the translation on one sequence and turn it into captions then copy and paste them on the english sequence, reposition it so the english and translation are on top of each other. I think this deserves it's own separate tutorial!

    So I tried CapCut after this video. Indeed capcut is easier to use but my main problem is its hard to edit captions on capcut. I ended up using prermiere pro transcribe then import it to capcut. Then capcut suddenly wont recognize some part of the srts's. lol. please help

    5:10 Can't you just make a little Pop and Opacity Preset with the normal keyframe function and apply it to all at once? It not takes any longer and its free. Capcut is amazing für captions, but feels kinda cheap compared to premiere pro. I can't believe, they have the better features. Do you think Adobe is going to keep up?

    Why would you use Automation Blocks? Why not just create the animation using the transform effect, save that as a preset, and then apply that same animation to each caption? Seems like a waste of $59.99

  • @PremiereGal

    @PremiereGal

    5 ай бұрын

    Hi Evan! It's a good question! And I'm happy to answer it. I was doing exactly this before, however, with Automation blocks it has presets made already and I simply select all of them and click one button "Run" and it's done. Without automation blocks, I need to go to Effects, Search for Preset, apply it to the first caption, and then paste it to all the remaining captions. It basically shaves off the steps required to do it. And for the price question, it does much more than just the caption presets, it can do Ken Burns effects and single click slideshows, so what I showed you here is just one application of the tool. I want to reiterate that it is a nice to have, not a requirement, I'm just showing what I've been using to save time. I will be making an in-depth review on other things you can do with automation blocks soon. I hope that answers it!

    @@PremiereGal okay great! Looking forward to that video! I guess it could save time for some, but if you're a professional editor then it's probably best to do these animations yourself so you have more control. It takes the same amount of time once you set it up!:) I can make a tutorial on my channel as well!

    You can also make custom animations that are different and turn them into scripts to use in Automation Blocks. It is still more for pros that want to automate their workflow. @@EvandersonReviews

    Transform is super limited. You can literally transform the caption. What if you want to color it or scale the active word being spoken. So limited and takes time.
