In my humble opinion, Atencio's double jump tops them all. Cause it's been the first time we've ever seen someone do this.

@Jolan Krahn I think he played bottom on the jump causing it to pop back up when it made contact with the table again but carried forward with momentum. I'm entirely willing to admit I may be misunderstanding it, but seems to make sense to me.

@@zeusdarkgod7727 maybe it's just that he played the first jump very high, i.e. with a lot of force, so when the cueball hit the table the first time it still had enough energy to bounce a second time. A more vertical arch of the ball compared to a regular jump shot.

It’s definitely been done before, a lot. Maybe not on this stage. I’ve done this in a for fun game, and so has at least one of my friends. Just gotta jump the first ball very vertical and high, and it will naturally jump again

are the pockets on this table different from the tables at local pool clubs and such. They feel way more forgiving than what i usually play on, for example, the shot at 1:58 would have never gone in on the tables i play at. Im no pro, but its not like ive played for a month either, been playing atleast once a week for a 3 years now and played in a few local tournaments so i'm not a complete beginner but hitting from the same angle and at the same speed as some of these shots, it feels impossible that they go in.

Mostly 'sensational" shots. Lots of routine banks and jumps. Lots of fluke results. The double jump was nice. I always hope for a highlight reel of the kind of shots that would impress a top pro. SVB's kick-ticky (#11) might qualify. But I think most really impressive skill shots would be combinations of difficult shots and precise position. Shot #20 is a pretty good example of a very proficient shot. Sometimes unnatural break-outs or creative safeties are very skillful, but they are not always as sensational or crowd-pleasers. I understand that collecting and editing these was a lot of effort and it was a good job.

The title should say "top jump shots of 2022". You people think that by being a jump shot, it automatically makes it a great shot. For professional players who jump the ball all the time, it's just another shot. There are many more other shots you could've shown that are better. Stop gloryfying the jump shot. It's not that difficult.
