Mickey Mantle is my favorite athlete of all time. It all began in the 80’s when I was a little boy and my dad began to teach me about baseball. His hero growing up was Mickey, and some of my fondest memories are the stories he told me about the great number 7. Over the years, many players have come and gone, but to us, there is not a player yet to match the speed, power & charisma of The Mick. Thank you for this video!

Mickey was a magnificent athlete to watch! Everything he did was so graceful. The way he swung, ran, caught the ball, threw, the way he jogged, the way he walked and dug in at the plate. Even the way he knelt in the on deck circle! So ssd he didn't take car of himself and died too early! Thank God we have some great video of his playing days.

My favorite videos are the vintage box breaks (1980 and before) because not only are cards opened that I remembered opening as a kid (I can remember like it was yesterday opening up cards in the 70s), but it's amazing to me how cards 40 and more years old have sat undisturbed in wax packs all these years and a box break allows you to be the first to set eyes on it. Also, the idea that what some kid used to scrape a few cents for to open up back then has become such a valuable item that adults cherish enough to buy a box and open up wax packs themselves.

I saw Mantle in the title and thought good god another Mantle video buuuuuuuut you killed it. Your style is great. I feel like I'm watching KZread 15 years ago before everything was overproduced and annoying. It's always cool to see you guys pull back the curtain and give us a look at your pc, setup for filming (you kinda already did that) and killer display rooms/closets/shelving that you have decked out with cards. I've picked up so many ideas from those types of videos. It doesn't matter if you're rocking an old washing machine door screwed to a few mannequin legs with cards on top. Original content is original content period.

I like to feel like I’m learning something about sports cards when I watch KZread videos. Your PSA video brought me to your channel because it was very detailed and informative. I like watching box breaks because it gives me a small sample size of what to expect and helps me make an educated guess on if I should buy or wait till the next series. Value videos are neat to watch but honestly Im not a fan of the robot voice narrations. Finally I enjoy learning about prospects or projected players that could hold future values. I don’t follow farm league and don’t have time to watch every game (MLB,NFL,NBA) so hearing which players you are following or prospects you think have potential gives me a reason to go back and look through my cards to find their Bowman 1sts or RCs...Finding said cards is almost as fun as cracking packs and is essentially free because I’ve already purchased them so it feels like a huge bonus. Thanks for the giveaway and keep up the good work.

Some of my favorite video's are box breaks. I really enjoy watching new breaks and I also like "throwback" breaks. I think it's exciting to see what products used to look like, what you were "guaranteed" to get in a box, and how much card designs have changed over the years. It's cool to see breaks of boxes that I would not be able to afford such as Flawless, National Treasures, etc. Thanks for the opportunity at the giveaway and keep up the great work. I watched your 1991 Topps Micro set video the other day. I have a set and found the Chipper Jones! It was very off center though, but it was fun to look at those cards again. They are very tough to handle lol.

There is one KZread channel that combines pack breaks with information on the players that are pulled from each pack. It’s usually from the 1980’s but it’s always informative and entertaining. I enjoy hearing about lesser known players that time has forgotten about. Especially those who may have only appeared on a card maybe once or twice.

I actually like the type that you're doing right now. Im new to collecting. When I was in 3rd grade my dad stole about 1500 cards from me that my grandfather gave to me. I see a lot of cards I used to have myself when I watch them. I really like to know the back story if the player and the card being shown. Like I said i just started trying to collect again. At first these videos made me sick when I seen how much those cards are worth now. But in a good sense it's helped humble me or rather see that I was having a problem with making paper money my value system but the spirit of God in me always corrects me when I start going the wrong way about it So now I enjoy these videos, one for information kus I'm a chick that used to race dirt bikes lol I don't know enough. But your videos are also refreshing brings me back to being a kid ya know. I'm not sure if I've answered you correctly but I thought wth I'll try it, can't hurt. It would be super cool to have a card that had value lol. Your videos are great for research and entertainment. The box openings are not my thing. Kus is always boxes and cards I wish I could afford and could never lol 800+$ a pack!? Crazy. Anyway thanks ginger the chance. I've been subscribed for a few weeks or so and recommended it to my old roommate who has a card site on Ebay. But they're bums lol ok im done. Sorry so long. God bless.

That ‘58 mantle with aaron is a very nice card too. For the giveaway my favorite videos are the educational videos. Where they teach or talk about prices, card population, rareness and what sets have which rookies in them as well. Good to know these thing before you buy a box or two. I also don’t have a channel myself but maybe I start a light video of pack openings since I’ve been getting a lot of nice boxes of baseball cards. Baseball is the only i collect. I grew up in cuba and mantle has always been my dad’s favorite player so i like to show him old cards whenever i see them. He will definitely watch this video.

Hah, I've had a 1968 Topps Game Mantle for over 30 years (since I was a kid). I have always kind of written it off because I thought you bought them like in a deck to somehow play the "game" (like in a box with a board). When I learned from you just now that it was a pack pulled insert, that changes everything. It's like an entirely legit card to me now. I also instantly added it to my next grading submission. Thank you. It's like I received a new Mantle this morning. Gonna pull it out box now.

My favorite sports card related videos are ones that showcase what you can get from a specific hobby box

Good channel! While I enjoy historical videos related to sportscards, I think my favorite videos are those (like this one) that provide info on card values and auction sales. The auction sales that you have to be careful with are the eBay auctions since an item shown as sold doesn't necessarily mean that the transaction was completed between the buyer and seller.

Oh yeah, some are blatantly obvious that the seller took the listing down and marked as sold while others are not. It's best when you have multiple auctions to compare to one another and create and average sale price. PSA does this on their website's APR page. 👍

My favorite types of videos are box/case breaks...in part because it gives me an idea of the contents of products I can expect to see and also because I do buy into a lot of breaks.

The box breaks are good bc you never know what you're gonna pull. Also the videos you put up are awesome, makes us collectors wish we had taken better care of our cards as kids lol. And kept a lot of them as well

I love box breaks. Watching hits happen. I’ve had bad luck when opening cards with many of the cards I’ve wanted Have eluded me. Watching these breaks shows me it can happen.

I enjoy 2 kinds of sportscard videos the most. One being the informative and historical video. Reason being that as a life long collector when I was a kid you had your collection and a price guide with pictures of cards that you didn’t have money for access to and new really knew nothing about. Second type of video is the videos where someone opens what they purchase online or flea market or show finds. Mainly because I like to see what people are buying out of curiosity.

Easiest way to look up values is go to sportscards.com and see what cards have recently sold for. Or go onto Comc and see what most are asking for

I love the box breaks especially the vintage ones because you never know what gem they will pull and also it reminds me of buying packs when I was a kid even though I grew up in the junk wax era the best pull I had as a kid was the score inserts of Joe DiMaggio, that my cousin stole from, he also took my Frank Thomas name card when I pulled it out of the 90 Topps pack from a local circle k store. Good luck everybody!
