Awesome! Thanks for the feedback Ricky!
Another great viddy mate! For me, my favourite card of the 80's is the Topps 86 Jose Canseco. Still love the card to this day.
I'm sooo happy to come across your video.. I have 3 bins if baseball cards, 2 if which my mom had collected before she passed away in 2007 and 1 bin that I had collected after mom passed away
Another great video!! The 85 Tiffany Bo Jackson might be my favorite card of all time!! It just looks so clean with the blue letters and the blue back-round!

I think you meant '86 but yeah I love that card as well. It's a classic photo of Bo Jackson and surrounded with nice colored borders 👍
Love that great knowledge of cards. I have many of those cards. Maybe I need to get some graded
My favorite 80s card is the 89' Topps Ken Griffey Jr RC. Thanks for all the great videos.
First off love your videos! My favorite card from the 80s is ken Griffey jr 89 upper deck and the 84 Donnie baseball mattingly
Being I’m from Washington and a big mariners fan basically every ken Griffey jr rookie card from 1989 is/are my faves! I have two of the 1989 upper deck sets and about 2 each of the donruss, fleet and topps rookies 👍
Love how you explain that they have to be graded to have that value. I see so many times on FB marketplace people trying to sell a card in raw condition for the price it's sells for PSA 10

I'd like to see an update on this list. It would be nice if you could list on the screen also the sold prices for cards that are not gem mint 10s, maybe 5-9s, non-Tiffanys, etc. For example, I have a 9 non-Tiffany McGwire. I know it's not close to the $1000s, but I'm still curious.
I got a full 81-89 that I found in an attic that were in albums and were never touched since they were put up there. Without a doubt PS-10s! In still stuck and shocked at my find. Which I can show a pic!

I was surprised by the Ken griffey jr price. It is a great card though. Great video. Keep up the great work. I would love to see your personal collection too.
Mr. Matt, Thank you for the great videos. Plus the education you add is super. I have people all the time trying to sell me cards in raw condition saying I saw it on eBay for thousands of dollars. I'll start sending them to Matt's KZread class for a lesson in vaule and PSA. Rickey Henderson, they sure don't make base Steelers like that anymore. Have a wonderful day

The '80 Rickey is also my fave. But #2 is the '86 Donruss or Topps Traded Canseco, #3 '85 Topps McGwire. The A's were my bro's fave growing up in the 80's. Now that my brother is no longer with me, I'll always have a soft spot for the Bash Brothers and the greatest all-around player of all time :-)

I've got an 83 OPC PSA10 RC for Ryne Sandberg. Only 22/10's out of 700 subs. Currently sells for $6K which is nearly 8x as much as the Topps RC.

Hey Matt , same list Not Graded. Vermont.
Awsome videos. The only thing I think you can do different is when you show an error card explain the error in more detail. Example. The 1992 upperdeck star rookie chipper jones. Gold hologram. What does that mean. The upperdeck logo on back is gold? But again amazing and helpful videos. 2 thumbs up.

I have alot of these cards just not in gem mint. I have a huge card collection in my attic with basically all rookie cards from 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Do you purchase cards?
The moment you realize you have most of these cards and they are sitting an hour away from you and need to be graded and have been sitting in cardboard mass cases for the past 10yrs
What differentiates a tops Tiffany from a normal tops card..?
Keep it up!
Like to see what my cards are worth. Not spending a dime on grading.mine are put up right where I want them and not for sale. If my grandsons want to take time and money for that one day they can have at it.

How hard is it to get cards graded? I have a handful of what was on the list, I’m 44 so I had cards in the junk era and keep them in good shape. Literally put them in plastics as soon as I opened up the packs.
So if I have some of these cards, what’s the best way for me to sell them ???

It shouldn't matter the condition!he's just promoting psa
I think some of these prices are misleading or perhaps artificially inflated - at least with the Brett, Rose and Ryan... I mean yea they have low PSA 10 pop's, however I would presume they also have low overall submissions as well. With cards like that it's PSA 8 or 8.5 or bust especially with the Rose... I mean if you get back a PSA 8 on the Brett or Ryan you're breaking even, you get back a 9 you're making a little bit of money and if you get a 10 you've hit the lotto and the Rose it's either PSA 10 or bust, I mean maybe you can at least or break even on a PSA 9 but it's a risk... So yea that's why those cards have low pop 10 reports because they're just too risky to get graded.... The other cards I understand, they're just rare in general except for the Henderson... What's the "continuous running flaw" with that card? because there has to be one with that card considering it's easily the most submitted on the list yet has only 35 PSA 10's? You have to remember the 80's were a funky era when it comes to cards, there are a ton of overproduced cards and for 95% of them it really is PSA 9 at least or you're losing money - and that is IF you can potentially even make money on a PSA 10 so the majority of cards aren't worth the grading fees even at a PSA 10, so they're just not submitted...
I have the Rickey Henderson
I have a 1987 mark McGwire ,, # 1. Diamonds kings 1987.
What videos does they explain how to send them off for Vaule and the condition of the card I want to see the videos so I can have someone look at them so I can sell them all the procedures what to do

En cuál página puedo poner a vender mis tarjetas de baseball??
the only reason? it's the only and oldest Rookie card 1980 of a legend. no tradeds no tiffanies no minors. But my fav is the Gwynn. As a kid I was excited to learn it was worth $6. Got it from a pack, it was gem mint, a 10 for sure.
Me gusta la de Tony Guwyn Rc 1983 Tremendo jugador
I appreciate that you emphasize condition when it comes to valuing cards. As someone who grew up collecting coins/comics/cards, I know all about condition! I was known for being really anal as a kid and would throw/give cards away for the slightest ding. My buddies/family always thought I was crazy. To me, unless it's a really old card, it's not worth keeping anything less than a 9.5.
@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR
4 жыл бұрын
haha, I can definitely relate. I've always been sensitive to the subject as well with all of my collectibles. Some people just can't comprehend the value of the condition. To them, it's still just a piece of cardboard! 👍👍 thanks for the comment!
Can you make a video of baseball cards not minted I have a lot of cards needs minted. Just don't know what to send in.i don't mean every card. Like your top 50 that you would send in.

How do you get a card graded?
How do I know if my bo Jackson 1986 50t card is tiffany trade or not?
@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR
4 жыл бұрын
If the cardstock on the back is a dark grey or brown then it is regular Topps, however, if it is significantly brighter card stock then it is a Tiffany. Also, there is a glossy coating on the front of the card. It is very easy to decipher between a Topps and Topps Tiffany when holding them side by side so hold it next to a regular issue Topps card, if is is identical then it's not a Tiffany,

How can I get my card PSA graded?
would you break up complete set to sell individual cards
@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR
3 ай бұрын
It all depends on the set... Old vintage sets (1948 - 1960) with HOFers sell individual. 70's and later you might want to just pick out the good players and donate the rest. If the cards look to be in "Gem mint" condition then you may consider grading. With older cards Mantle, Mays, Aaron Williams, Musial, Clemente, Banks, etc. then any condition is worth grading... Hope this helps!
Cool
If I have these cards what do go about it to sell

You're best bet would be to list them on eBay. Look at similar auctions sold of your cards to get an idea of what to price them at.
Are you sure that Tony Gwynn was a Topps card? The scan you showed looks like an O-Pee-Chee. I think the PSA 10 population for the Topps version is much higher.
