Hollywood was just beginning to pay attention to period authenticity about that time, but big name stars still would not change their signature hairstyles to accommodate a role. You can always tell a 70s movie by the styled, blow dried big hair...

Seen many great films I have liked here, Westworld, High Plains Drifter, the Stranger and the Gunfighter, Cahill US Marshall with A mean and great performance from George Kennedy and my favorite Rooster Cogburn with two movie legends, beautiful scenery from the state of Oregon which was one of John Wayne's favorite places to visit.

I have seen 10 top westerns from 1973-1975. Favourites are High Plains Drifter, Pat Garett and Billy the Kid, Westworld, and Billy Two Hats. I have also seen Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, Bite the Bullet, Hearts of the West, Rooster Cogburn, The Train Robbers, and The Apple Dumpling Gang.
