Full metal alchemist brotherhood is in my top 3 animes of all time. The themes where absolutely amazing

Fullmetal is truly amazing, but I would say death note is number 1. The story and anime is unparalleled. It blew my mind when I watched it. It's a genius story no doubt. I would put full metal at number 2 and Naruto shippuden at 3, bleach at 4, attack on Titan at 5. inuyasha should be here too.

Glad for the Shouwa Genroku Rakugo mention- that series is so underrated but engaging and heart-wrenching. Put it on your list peeps!

There's something so special about Kaguya sama, it starts as a romantic comedy but it has transcended its genre and became something unique that is watchable for everyone even those who hate romcoms. Both protagonists have a great chemistry and character development, and the supporting cast is amazing too PS: Laid Back Camp deserves the honorable mention

As someone that enjoys romcoms, I could not sit through kaguya sama, it was a rough watch. The two MCs just ended up frustrating me with their back and forth and this is coming from someone that loves the tsundere trope. Watching two tsunderes go at it just was not my cup of tea

This is a pretty good list. I was especially pleased to see #22: SHOUWA GENROKU RAKUGO SHINJUU. I could think of a dozen shows I would put here, but I'll confine my self to: NICHIJOU--the best comedy excepting GINTAMA, GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX--its sci-fi concepts and action animation were ahead of its time as we follow a counter-terrorism squad and various human/android hybrids. ONE PIECE--Okay, it started two months before the year 2000, but it's still going strong. A monumental tale. A tie: BEASTARS and ODDTAXI, for those who like anthropomorphic animals, and thought ZOOTOPIA was too tame.

I've missed quite a few anime tbh, but overall its a good list, very glad to see Monster and Stein's Gate made it 😍👍

For having honestly a couple niche picks it’s not a bad list. I’m surprised we don’t get something like a Konosuba or reincarnated as a slime as one of the better isekais of the 21st century.

SAO was important for isekai but narratively isn’t the best. They also don’t have anyone most people would call a great character. NGNL was also a bit narratively lacking but I enjoyed the show as well. My feeling about NGNL is why I also wouldn’t put Re:Zero on the list either

I´ll just come out and say that SAO left a bad taste in my mouth and so I haven´t really had any interest in going down the isekai rabbit hole, though like you, I did enjoy NGNL for what is was. SAO just had a stellar first half and then went downhill for me. Slime does interest me because of the power scale, I see Rimuru being scaled very high and would like to check it out for myself. I hear Overlord is good as well, b ut again just don´t have that much interest in Isekai. I did also enjoy a reverse Isekai anime known as The Devil is a Part Timer. @@nathanhexem

Anyone know the name of this anime? I watched it years ago, like maybe 2014-15. Anyway, it was about a girl that likes to drink, chasing another girl for bounty. Both girls are well endowed, if I remembered correctly. One of them uses a gun.

"Naruto" is the only anime I've seen on this list as a kid. I've seen that episode of Naruto throwing a fireball at someone! Only, I watched it in English and without any subtitles. I haven't seen the other series, but it seems like every time one ends, another one comes out the same year. I've also watched "Full Metal Alchemist". Just not "Brotherhood". Why did that girl want that boy to die in number 25?! These guys in number 10 would hit a lady? Also, that guy was acting like Goku from "Dragon Ball Z" in number 9! I smiled when he had his hand over his face.

I hate how they put Chainsaw Man in the beginning and don't even put it as an honorable mention. Also why is Demon Slayer so low? Should be top 5 at least. Inyuyasha could've been on here somewhere too. Other than that the list looks good to me.

I liked Akame Ga Kill, Mieruko Chan, Gal and Dino. I like anime like that. I thought Demon Slayer kimetsu no yaiba was good up until the tenth episode, then after that it just gave me a headache. I kept waiting for a good fight that never came. I’ll probably end up finding an anime that I’m comfortable with out of nowhere like I usually do. I usually don’t agree with other people’s opinions when it comes to anime. Akame Ga Kill was my favourite. The know it all nerds don’t agree with me though.

I don't get jujutsu kaisens hype. It's a good watch but is it that great?

you could tell that Mojo doesnt know animes other than mainstreams. To not have Kingdom on the list says much. Every season of Kingdom got at least 8.2 on MAL, even S1. the manga is also a top5 seller in japan for the past decade.

FMAB is the one to beat. 63 episodes never letting you down, everyone with character growth, philosophy heavy themes, awesome fight not using nakama power or insane power ups that destroy the power system, a constant plot. Bad ass women representation without falling into waifu material, and an Entire final chapter to close all the characters arc after the big battle. I can go on... 😅

Everyone sleeps on Kingdom, but it's a beast in it's own right.

I’ve seen almost all the anime on this list, and being completely honest, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is my favorite out of all of them. Everything about it from the story, the characters, to the fight scenes is just so damn good. Happy to see it made the number 1 spot on this list

Personally i think there's recency bias in this list. Where are Basilisk, Samurai Champloo or even Angel beats?

I Really don't agree with your ranking On what basis Naruto is on 26th Place? And How Come Fate zero on 17th place? Where's dragon Ball? Where's One Piece Man 😢? Black Clover? Bungo Stray Dogs?

How are neither Dragonball or One Piece mentioned in this? They don't even have to be in the Top 10. Those 2 left their mark on this century just as much as the ones on this list have.

And we should also to not forget those ones that were not shown on the top, but deserve to be mention: - Dragon Ball Z Kai and Super - All the Precure series - Unlucky Undead - Grusing Over Magical Girls - Sailor Moon Crystal

Fma is a good anime. But there are few better ones. It's comedy is subjective.Don't know why bullsit list put it on top everytime

This should've been a top 50 to fit I a lot of deserving series; Gankutsuou Bloom Into You Nichijou Hyouka Miss kobayashi's Dragon Maid Violet Evergarden Asobi Asobase Bocchi the Rock Black Lagoon Kaiba The Tatami Galaxy Konosuba Some placings are questionable too. Death Note above Monster? Monogatari not in the top 10? Rakugo Shinju below Bleach, Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen?

I find it weird i guess top 30 anime according to watchmojo judgement... i mean where does One piece stand last i heard it beat batman and spiderman in sales? Gundam X, Wing, Seed, Destiny. How about Pokemon last i check it was an explosive in popularity may more popular among kids in world wide even if i m not into into it if you know what i mean... Digimon and Yugioh another anime... Detective Conan can also be parts of that list too where does that stand? Dragon ball Z, GT and sailormoon where does those stand? ETC.... I find it funny that they add the "of the Century" parts to the title.
