Ah! A fellow roofer, God bless I hate it when I hear other owners or team leaders who say “I don’t knock”. They’re soft and afraid. Don’t stop!!!

I did my first ever day of d2d. Knocked on first house, I read the script which means I was looking down at clipboard. I got through the short easy script and customer let me get through it, then he said I'm not really interested and that shattered me. Then I walked home. Now I've watched this, I need to follow rule 1 - Get out there. Any tips for me tomorrow? My boss calls me tomorrow and I knocked 1 door isn't going to sit well. & its lead generation, I'm offering something free, so it can't be as hard

Your performance could’ve possibly been the problem. Ask “why” next time. Any objection is really their way of saying they don’t trust you or the product. Sometimes a no is really a yes but you have to wrestle with them

Don't knock on doors, get answers. And don't respond just to respond, respond knowing its going to be a sale for you. Every house isn't a house, its a sale. Amp yourself up, its a sale, its a sale, its a sale. Don't waste time on people who won't budge.

# 1 Tip for d2d peddlers. Respect local laws and 'No Solicitor' signs. Or else be prepared to get ticketed by the cops and your license revoked.
