It's very niche, and the big players ARE HUGE, aaaand... the 'hobby' sector he mentions actually had a 5000% growth over the lockdown. However, the BIG sector leaders will crush indie competitors, most 'indies' do it for love (not profit), and the majors are doing some gross/anti-consumer things to maintain growth after lockdown ended. It's art, and is absolutely NOT worthy of investment, lol. If you were going to invest, you'd only invest in the majors. You are right, though... the models themselves are really nice.

A corner shop thinking its competing with Amazon. You can't be a competitor if there's no competition. GW wouldn't even notice they existed. Which they don't anymore by the way - proving they were not a competitor at all. In the fantasy miniatures market there literally is zero actual competition to Games Workshop. You're probably the sort of person that sells Monat products and thinks you're a CEO of a business! The sort that sells something to a foreign purchaser via eBay and thinks that they own an international shipping company lmao! What a joker!
