Согласен с вами на все 💯. Заточкой для стамесок я давно пользуюсь. А вот приспособа для циркулярки просто бомба. Давно мечтал о подобном. И ведь как просто.

Во 2й надо добавить упор 90 гр., а в 3й верхний угол(наружной) сделать мелким, что бы можно было проводить манипуляции с торца. Молодец, возьму на заметку, пригодится!

Your ideas are simple but very useful. an I ask; the wheels on the chisel sharpening jig, is there a name for those as I haven't seen them before? Thanks, Joe

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, I do not remember the exact name of these wheels. They are used for the manufacture of sliding parts in upholstered furniture.

The chisel guide I find nicely done.

Молодец! Те кто ноют что с хорошим инструментом ты делаешь всякую ерунду - пусть у старых мастеров по учатся делать из ничего на коленке полезные приспособления! У меня 2 деда ; 1й из ничего и с помощью обычного складноного метра дома и мебель делал 2й из любого металлолома мог трактор или другую технику собрать А инструмент и различные приспособления просто помогают нам в работе и облегчают рабочий процесс,

@@masterofcrafts И как пример- 2 родственника занимаются отделкой; 1 на работу ходит с " Молотком и отверткой"(минимальный набор инструментов) и делает только обычные ремонты , все объекты сделанные им похожи на близнецов вышедших из под ксерокса 2й имеет гараж инструмента и делает любые ремонты вплоть до дизайнерских + постоянно докупает необходимый ему для его дел инструмент и материалы , а так же учится чему то новому , у него нет 2х одинаковых объектов сделанных под копирку Каждый выбирает свой путь развития и свою дорогу в жизни

I'm surprised he kept all his fingers intact, after testing his chisel's sharpness in tip 2. 🤪😂😂

Loved the first idea but put a knob on top to lock down, not from the bottom side, second jig nice build but I would have put a small step in the base plate to auto square the chisel or make an adjustable squaring plate thinner that the chisel. The picture frame fixtures are nice makes, I like wedge blocks vs wing nuts, just preference. PS the drill press, ditch the plastic guard, take it apart COMPLETELY (not the motor) and clean and grease everything including the quill, use only one handle ball and remove the other two, adjust the spring tension to just pull the head up, and get a keyless chuck! You love your press then! good share and work, keeping them coming!

Yup, and fortunately people kept reinventing the wheel, otherwise we wouldn't have vehicles (crankshafts, gears, etc) among so many other things.

В точилке стаместок я бы рекомендовал или профрезеровать или наклеить тоненький брусочек, в месте где устанавливается стаместка, чтобы каждый раз не мучаться с выставлением.....

The first thing is the best. You can precisely shorten a narrow piece with a hand saw. You just mark the line on the piece you are cutting, put it in the middle, align it with the line, and it will cut right there ...
