I always assumed The Batman's injection was him popping a dose of Venom (Bane's serum). Not sure how or why a Batman that fresh (strikes me as a kind of "Year One Batman") would already have access to that, but I definitely wanted to know more.Batman was a venom addict for a hot minute in the comics IRC.

Peter Parker is almost ALWAYS holding back his true power levels, pound for pound he's one of the strongest Marvel characters in existence. It's rare that he loses his temper and truly unleashes full power, but when he does, don't be anywhere in the same zip code. Depending on the comic, he broke every bone in Kingpin's body, or flat out killed Kingpin with a single punch. His Spidey Sense gives him an almost supernatural ability to feel what's coming and avoid it at speed levels that Rival Quicksilver or the Flash.

I recall where they were all fighting each other at the airport, I thought Winter Soldier was pretty powerful. Maybe he is, but Spidey just catches his punch and compliments his arm. That scene surprised me. Or an earlier film where he catches the falling wall of a building and holds it up, saving MJ. No idea how much tonnage that was, but im guessing more than one.

I still to this day think the best Wolverine portrayal was the attack on the mansion in X2. He is basically a super soldier but the movies like playing on his healing factor too much. He’s stealthy, has several martial arts under his belt, and is quite the soldier I have to disagree that Iron Man in Civil War was plot armor, he literally had Jarvis take over the suit to counter Bucky and Cap because he knew he couldn’t react fast enough

15:28 It's boom candy at this point for the Transformers. They didn't even bother to give the Beasts time to explain Optimus Primal's future past line which likely absoulutely NO ONE understood except Beast Wars fans who watched the whole series and EVEN THEN it made no sense because they met but never conversed. Primal didn't want to frak with time once the Maximals realized the planet they crashed on was Prehistoric Earth and they'd traveled back in time before the legendary Autobots of their past ever woke up on Earth after their own crash landing.

Comments/picks (in no particular order) - I *really* liked Eric Bana's Hulk. You could see him try to "don't be a dick, just be cool." But, yes, when he lost it, That is IT, dude! (I also noticed and kind of the touch of "the angrier Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets" also meaning the BIGGER Hulk gets! ) This franchise, I understand the rewriting/retelling the origin when the actor changed: The first Hulk required three elements, guaranteeing Hulk is totally unique. Oh. That would make "an enemy just like him but bad" in a sequel not work, so everything became a redo. QUIT "remarking" every frickin' origin every frickin 2nd or 3rd movie: Even if you're changing some cast or refining power skills, simply let the fact that time has passed cover that and move FORWARD with NEW material you assume that "only YOU" can tell. YW! Reeve's Superman's rage over Lois' death - Awesome! This guy had, as a older teen, tried to apply Earth-unknown "CPR" but STILL could not save his father... For all he has sacrificed and will do for the Earth and its people he loves: WHAT? The *one* woman he loves...DIES? Because he was so busy saving others? After spending the day cradling her, mourning, crying...Kal-El got angry. He decided that, even if she is not with him, she should NOT be dead. That was wrong. My dear lord!: The absolute RAGE on his face as he shot into the sky...!! [Even first-run in theater, I did not assume he reverse the Earth's movement; I took what followed to be a representation of him breaking the time barrier.] Pa Kent's dying in the yard and Kal-El's tearful rage were scenes that STILL tear my eys b/c Chris was SO perfect! Logan's berserker protection of the mansion in X2 is so perfect! He is, at heart, a man who wants to be kind and gentle. That drive encouraged in him a sense of protection of the young mutants. When the assault begins, he instinctively knows that ALL the students are the targets (if only him and the kids be left alone, I think he'd have surrendered). Logan had accepted a charge to "watch [protect] the children." And he clearly takes the responsibility he accepted SERIOUSLY. GD, you GO, Logan! Related, if a different genre: Rocky IV. No, seriously. Balboa and Creed watch old vids of their glory days, Apollo feeling antsy for it, Rocky's like, "Y'know, that ain't US anymore." But after Draggo (kind of clearly) kills Creed in the ring, Rocky knows: this is real - it is on. During the duel traing-montages in Russia, there is a moment that reveals the victor many miss: Bouncing between the two fighters' training "styles" we see a moment when Draggo cries out, stops, quits; Rocky doesn't quit, reaching the peak...Draggo *will* quit, Rocky will *not.* (JS)

You sort of dropped the ball in calling Thanos OP and remarking how he had bested Stormbreaker, that was the most accurate portrayal of Thanos so far. The Infinity Gauntlet had all of the Infinity Stones, it gives ultimate power. He could have atomized Stormbreaker with a thought. Uru metal isn't immune to the forces of creation and the universe. The fact Uru metal can even be forged means it is susceptible to elemental forces and the handle is Groot's former arm, with no special protections at all and SB isn't even enchanted. The Reality Stone could have turned SB into air, if he wanted to, same as anything else. In fact, Thanos didn't need to even use all of the stones, and only a fraction of the IG's power, to just snap away the enemies in Wakanda. And, Thanos was already more than a match for the Avengers, without the IG. But, with the IG? He's a god.

Not good enough. Show me the deep rage monster that makes the world tremble and frightens even the mighty who can only battle him to a draw (because rage is the deepest known well of power---in inexhaustible abundance---in the universe).
