Tbf, Dooku didn't really care about being a jedi or a sith. He had political reasons that are actually understandable. Though, his methods were wrong.

So glad you put Revan on this list. Vitiate also an educated choice of being superior to Sidious. Yea George Lucas said Sidious was the most powerful Sith, but Vitiate is who got Revan and Malak to become Sith in the first place! He didn’t have to wait and bid time to turn them into Sith like Palpatine did with Anakin and Dooku. He dominated their minds while they were rebelling against the Jedi council shortly after the Mandolarian wars. If it’s canon Sidious vs Vitiate (who’s only in legends) then Sidious loses.

Yeah, I agree. I am of the opinion that Sheev permanently died in Episode 6. And he was simply not at Tenebrae's level at the time. He died to a broken and defeated cyborg, after all. Meanwhile, Tenebrae had lived for 1500 years and it took thousands of dead and alive Jedi and Sith to finally defeat him. Some of them are also on this list, which means they were insanely powerful. Which just goes to show what a beast Tenebrae was.

Darth plagueis is the most powerful Sith even if he can't be considered 100% Sith. he was the Sith'ari and the chosen one rolled into one, like Anakin before he became Vader because if you think hard you'll find that the two are one and the same person. He could control the force to create life and he was close to reviving the dead He wanted to study the force to abolish good and evil for a better galaxy and because Anakin was his (son) he had the same goal. Palpatine was strong and he was the first Sith to (wipe out) the Republic at the hands of the Galactic Empire but he was just the asshole who killed (killed) both the chosen ones from the Sith side and the Jedis. I recommend the Darth Plagueis book

It's terrifying to think of the monsters that coexisted on both light and dark during the days of the old republic. Darth Vader and Palpatine might be stronger than all in raw potential, but they were just two in Darth Bane's rule of two. Not hundreds.

@eliminator1472 was his idea nonetheless. If Bane had never found Revans holocron there may not have been a rule of 2 (haven't read the bane books so I dont know if he was already planning something like that)

Darth Revan is my favorite verse from the old Republic. In addition to Nikhilus, Plagueis, Tenebris and Malak, he is quite famous. Many people think, including me, that he is a good duelist.

He has been the goat for 15 years, to me. That's when the story around SWTOR began to branch out. It kept going until the launch, it was awesome to hype for it with my pals. I still remember tuning in to the history segments of Jedi Master Gnost-Dural on the official website.

Vader should be Top 5, he would disown revan. He deserves 5 at the least of his full potential. He had the best lightsaber dueling known to Jedi and sith and had mastered the force to have the capability to use it at his own will if he wanted.

Darth Marr was an absolute chad of a sith. He’s the only one (besides a few exceptions) who could control both the light and dark side, only sith leader who wanted a diplomatic solution, and was able to become a force ghost to help the Jedi grand master beat Vitiate.

Darth Sidious shocked me in Return of the Jedi. He seemed old, and frail. Then he released his signature force lightning. He is potentially one of the most cunning villains in cinema history! I wish they made more Star Wars movies of Sith and Jedi. I want a movie of Darth Malgus, Revan\Darth Revan, Darth Bane, Darth Plagueis, Darth Vitiate and all the other Sith.

Imagine having a SICK sith name but everyone calls you “Count Dooku”

It’s not that they underestimate him, he’s the chosen one. He’s going to be powerful. But you have to understand these Sith from the Old Republic are literally monsters. Vader is angry and rageful about padme right? He can go on a spree and decimate anyone..well not Darth Scion, he’s literally physically held together with his Rage and Anger. And his power of the dark side combined with that rage allows him to keep alive and from dying from physical attacks.

Something I've noticed on videos like this is the lack of Zannah. She grew to rival Darth Bane himself in lightsaber combat and unlocked force potential. Great video though. It's probably hard to include EVERY powerful sith

This list is goated. The fact that Starkiller didn't make it was very satisfying.

Sidious was the most powerful and evil sith that had ever been up to that point. Even the sith of old who were looking on from the netherworld thought he was a bit much…

... Sidious fighting Vitiate would be like trying to climb up a 90 degree ice mountain with water running down it. It's just not possible, my man vitiate harnessed his power for 1500 years.

@@marskavols1073Official canon yeah, not legends. When you think about it Sidious didn’t really accomplish a whole lot. He couldn’t kill his master in a fair 1v1. He did wipe out the Jedi Order, but Nihilus/Sion were estimated to have killed more Jedi than Sidious, and they actually did it themselves. Palpatine’s empire wasn’t exactly galactic considering it didn’t touch the Unknown regions and barely got involved in Hutt Space. Many other famous Sith had similar or even larger empires. Besides, Palpatine was seen as a meme by a lot of old republic Sith.

Considering that the Emperor's Wrath was someone Vitate personally chose to serve as his chief warrior I believe he should be on the list, like canonically the Emperor's Wrath would absolutely destroy Malgus. I'd say they deserve somewhere from 10th to 8th.
