Perfect! I shared the link with my classmates also! This is the exact thing I have been looking for! Thank you for putting it together!!
To those who say he is going too fast, you can adjust the video speed in the settings. Go to the top right of the video and click the settings icon. Speed adjustment is an option on there 😊
Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful video 🫶🏽 I passed my exam today! I wouldn't make it without watching your video.

Awesome work! As a medical assistant I come across these constantly when intaking patients. Much needed to review these more to be proficient.

It helps by asking the patient the mg to narrow the list down of what they are talking about.. makes it easier to google on the spot
Thank you so much. I just enrolled in a hybrid online pharmacy technician program at my local community college. Your videos are great for listening to while doing other tasks. 👍🏻 Short of learning by osmosis, this is the next, best thing that **actually** works.

Hi Annisha! The PTCE is a tough exam so don't be discouraged. Find as many practice questions/tests as you can and repeat them until you feel confident. They say third time's a charm, so I'm sure you'll pass this time!

wish being a Pharmacy technician paid more. After looking for jobs and seeing what they pay, even the top tier ones im dropping the class

Absolutely!! Pharmacy tech are way too underpaid for the knowledge & work they do around in Pharmacy...sad but true😢
I was so glad yo see drigs categorized. But the repetition of what they treat was all i was hearing after a few times. I really could use just the drug names.
I really like your teaching style on the Pharmacy Math. I’m reaching out to you to see if you know anyone in the Phoenix area that could tutor me?

Hi Thank you for posting this Im taking pharmacy technician but will this will help with Nursing is the flash cards you did in this video is the same as Nursing to study or do I have to add more too it

Hi Nina! These drugs are based off of ClinCalc's top 200 drug list with a few changes. They're also the drugs that we learn during pharmacy school. So it would be safe to say these are the same drugs you'll see in nursing school!

Are all of your videos in the ptcb exam ?
@ungerpharmacy
Жыл бұрын
Hey Mario! My practice question videos will be very similar to what you'll see on the PTCE. Remember the exam covers medications (generic/brand/indication/major side effects/therapeutic duplications/storage), federal requirements (DEA/FDA/controlled substances/REMS/Sudafed/law), patient safety and quality assurance (LASA/common prescription errors/error prevention strategies/compounding technique/proper manipulation), and order entry and processing (how to type up a prescription/math/understanding the NDC/basics of insurance). Hope that helps!
Thank you! Do you know a good place to find the active ingredients
@ungerpharmacy
Жыл бұрын
Hey! The active ingredient in a drug is the component that makes it pharmaceutically active - effective against the illness or condition it is treating. So the drug itself is the active ingredient! If you're looking for the inactive ingredients, the package insert usually has them listed.
@juliam5549

Thank you! So it would just be the generic name = active ingredient

Hi, are these the 2023 PTCB Top 200 drugs?
@ungerpharmacy
Жыл бұрын
Hi Shaayla! There is no official list but the drugs in this video are based off of the most recent version of ClinCalc’s Top 200 drugs, which is what we use at my pharmacy school.
THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS IS BEYOND HELPFUL 🥹❤️
Should we put side effects too?
Confused..is "Heather" not a contraceptive?
@ungerpharmacy
Жыл бұрын
Good question. Most contraceptives are a combination of an estrogen and progestin. Single agent norethindrone products are primarily used to treat conditions like secondary amenorrhea, endometriosis, and abnormal uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance. Norethindrone is a progestin that can also be used for routine contraception. Progestin-only formulation contraceptives or "mini-pills" of norethindrone are not widely used due to the higher risk of contraceptive failure and certain side effects such as spotting and breakthrough bleeding compared to combination hormonal contraceptives. However, progesin-only oral contraceptives may be appropriate choices when women have relative or absolute contraindications to the use of estrogen-based hormonal contraception. So yes, Heather can be used as a contraceptive. I've just chosen the most common brand name I've come across for norethindrone, which happens to be Heather. So I understand the confusion!
