I’m not trying to be annoying but the last time I checked number one was the border collie number two was a poodle in number three was a German Shepherd and German Shepherd was not on there😂😅
I've had 4 Border Collies over the years and I've had lots of other breeds as well including rescued mixed breeds. But in my extremely biased opinion the Border is number 1 and by a distance. But I haven't owned most of the other breeds on this list so obviously I can't state it as a fact. But I genuinely would be extremely confident about the Collie being number 1, their ease of training, versatility and ability to learn new things is just outstanding. You'd really had to have owned one to appreciate what I'm saying. You can't teach an old dog new tricks definitely does not apply to this dog. I'll certainly own different breeds in the future but I will always have a Border collie until I'm too old to provide the exercise they require.

Can I ask which is the smartest between the 2? As I've never owned a Golden Retriever.

Theyre's 4 different belgian shepherd breeds and the Malinois is obviously the most well known. But as far as I'm aware they're all of almost the same intelligence. I think the maker of this video was just trying to be a bit different by not including the Malinois. But I think that the Malinois is the most popular because of the ease of coat care and being the best looking imo.
