Phonk changed my life. Im not even joking. I was a 26 year old fat piece of shit, depressed, broken over a old girl. And I started discovering more and more phonk music. That shit put me in some sort of motivated trance at work, gym, driving. I listen to songs like these all day and i get so locked in on my craft. 1 year into the gym. Got a promotion at work. And starting to get confidence to talk to woman again. No where I want to be yet, but I’m getting there. This music has brought me back to life.

This is drift phonk. Not the real OG phonk. Tiktok and Spotify basically ruined the genre name. The real phonk is more relaxing, clean and even jazzy trap. I’m not saying drift phonk is bad but people think it’s the norm for the genre. Artists like Soudiere, DJ Yung Vamp or DJ Smokey represent the true phonk genre. I’m just clarifying this since most people don’t know.
