Been playing Sniper Elite 5 on PC since its available through PC GamePass and absolutely loving it! Faster paced shooters don't work well for me and I love stealth. Nothing more satisfying than clearing an entire SE level with all objectives without a single detection. Awesome list!

You may like a game called... Generation zero. It's been out a couple of years but still gets updated (one due Nov).

watched the entire video and now a small part of my brain believes that every single game on the list was titled For All Intents and Purposes.

What a great list down of video games. I'm super excited for God of War Ragnarok, Callisto Protocol and Gungrave GORE.🤩🤟🏼

I haven't loved a gaming centric platform, channel, magazine this much since Nintendo Power and the like. Gameranx is, as paps would put it, the Bees Knees. Not sure what it means other than being badassery of the highest order. Hats off to a consistent job well done! Much love and respect! 🤛🙏✌

I'm so pumped for Evil West. It looks like such a throwback to the games we would get in the early 2010's. I really hope it succeeds because we need more triple A games like this. Just a fun and silly game that doesn't take it's self too seriously.

Evil West has me interested, reminds of the old PS2 game, Darkwatch i think it was called, whilst it was first person it had the supernatural wild west vibe going on.

Third person games have been and I think will always be my go to style of game and I don't think there's a game on here that doesn't look great (some better than others) I am sooo glad I've just got a ps5 for an early Christmas present, haven't set it up yet still deciding where my set up is gonna go but cannot wait to get stuck into some of these amazing looking titles.... Great video love gameranx game lists.

This list was on point. 2022 gave us a lot of good single player games with amazing gameplay and story. I have to say one thing: I was never a fan of souls games and that is why I was afraid to play Elden Ring. However, after playing Steelrising and Asterigos - Curse of the Stars (which are both Souls like type of games) I decided to give Elden Ring a chance. And boy, oh, boy, I am so happy I finally faced my fears. This game is something else.

Glad you've discovered the joy of the Dark Soul games. They are hard, it's just so satisfying when you beat the Bosses. If you haven't done it yet, try Sekiro and Mortal Shell. Both are amazing games and bring a different style to DS games like Elden Ring did.

The best games offer you both options , Mass effect fallout elder scrolls and the list goes on of games that allow you to do it either way instead of limiting you to one play style . I can't imagine they save a lot of money by limiting it to one or the other . It would be really nice if they made a game where you have complete camera control .

All I desire is an entertaining story(for any product) and decent gameplay(that isn’t filled with bugs that can ruin the fun. Like in cyberpunk🤣). Plus I’ve been listening to this channels reviews of the game. So far it sounds pretty great. I even saw some of the gameplay trailers not too long ago and I was impressed. Obviously it looked a little bit incomplete because it was a demo(aka sneak peek).

Hey Falcon, love your videos. I prefer third person over first person unless I am driving/piloting. That's why No Man's Sky is one of my favorites. SOCOM 2 was what moved me to 3rd Person over 1st person.

Evil West and Plague Tale 2 are pretty impressive coming from Focus interactive .. that company has def picked up its quality the last few years :)

Just so you know Falcon, Jake has already covered with us that Callisto Protocol is no longer tied to the PUBG universe. Earlier on, that was the plan, but the game creator has since retracted that statement, as it created limits for the vision of the game.

Horizon was such an amazing experience for me, I spent hours and hours just appreciating the view… left me with a big feeling of emptiness after it, eagerly waiting for a DLC.

@@Harbyz well, I’m one of the biggest fans of that franchise so I’m suspect on this. But the second is better in everything it does (except on the story). Oh, and I would definitely recommend playing it on ps5. It’s the most beautiful game up to this date in my opinion.

While the story isn’t as good as the first, so far I thing the story is great and the rest of the game just takes everything from the first and improves on it in every aspect of the phrase.

@@Harbyz I recommend it but I wouldn’t pay full price. I’m a massive HZD fan and pre-ordered HFW. The game is amazing but there is some disappointing story arch and looking back I would not have paid $113.00. The story is much better in the first game.

Remnant from the Ashes was another 3rd person game I was pretty surprised by. Not much in story, but the graphics and shooting felt really solid. Hope they announce a sequel for it at some point.

It was also pretty challenging at times even while playing co-op. The only reason I played it was because of Gamepass. I would never have bought it.

Wild west + supernatural seems to be more of a thing at the moment and they even have similar names (Weird West, Hard West, Evil West)

It's a good game with an actual story you'll probably care about. The one thing you need to be aware of though if you don't already know is that the movement looks kinda janky, but it's based on how an automaton would move. We're used to seeing fluid dynamic human movement, but a machine isn't fluid like we are.

Regarding Gungrave, there is also an anime adaptation that is pretty good. It's worth the watch if you want to know more about the lore and stuff.

I kept saying that it was still three months out and not mention it was IGN, they are notorious for not misrepresenting games. People kept saying not much could be done in three months but look at it now!

Currently playing through Requiem and loving every minute. Innocence was my favorite game/story in a long time and I’m so happy to finally play the sequel. Asobo has killed it with this :)

@@esho6460 nice! I’ve been playing on my XSX all day and haven’t had any performance issues. I do have a VRR screen though so perhaps it’s just masking it. I haven’t cared to read other people’s comments on it so I’ve just been enjoying the gameplay and story. But that’s what I do with every game so :) I hope you get to play and enjoy it to your standard soon enough!

I didn't cared at all about the story in Horizon Forbidden West but it was definitely a worthy sequel to the first one even though the story was extremely boring and made no sense the gameplay carried the game hardcore ,it was so fun to play .I put like 150 hours into it and completed everything there is to do except for the tabletop card minigames and some combat/hunting challenges. ** spoiler** I was mind blown when you get to fly for the first time even though i knew we were going too because they drop several hints before you get to that part.

I become sad every time I see something on elden ring. I know I am not capable of finishing that game. I die a lot. I’m okay with dieing a lot. But with a souls type game that’s not going to work out. As someone with some minor disabilities I wish some games provided features to make the games more inclusive. I get why they don’t. It’s all about the challenge. But still….

I will be so happy when Elden Rings eventually gets forgotten by mainstream gaming media. It was a good game, but it's been hyped up to be one of the greatest games of this generation when it essentially the same thing we've gotten from them with every game. It feels like they're playing the same game Call of Duty's developers did where people just ate it up because of the brand and developer attached to it. Elden Rings is number one for the same reason Fortnite was number one on every other list you come across like this. Lowest common denominator with no substance.

Crisis Core was great. I can't wait to play this remake myself.

Been hunting an experience like Elden Ring all year.. not the same game type but something that hold my attention.

It took me over 20 years to find Mount & Blade! I always remembered hiring a game on PS2 where you rode horse's in big battle open area.. that was it. Recently I got PlayStation Plus + Extra Plus service and there it was, the original game I'd played so long ago. And I only found it cause I downloaded the game to see what it was and got an instant flashback once I got into the gameplay, it bored me though visually. Might get the New one though, seems like a better way to Re-live that brief Nostalgia.

Mount and Blade isn't new but I am so happy its getting officially released finally!
