I’d describe Gravity Beetle’s theme with one word: heroic

Great ranking! I finally see someone who appreciates gravity beetle's theme like I do

The Megaman series has so many good tracks, It would take me a million years to make a list like this.

Hey guys, welcome back to my last Mega Man Music related video. This time we're counting down my Top 20 favorite Mega Man X themes! Be sure to let me know what some of your favorites are below!

Btw...this is just a suggestion but you should have a Top 10 Stage Select themes video! You could obviously include the Classic and X series along with the rest. It'd be a fun video!

I'd say my personal top 3 in no particular order are Cyber Peacocks stage from X4, Wire Sponges stage from X2 (I really like the chill vibes it gives off), and Ground Scaravichs stage from X6. X6 was my first X game and Ground Scaravich was the first Maverick I ever defeated, and although I think X6 is an overall trainwreck the soundtrack is top tier and his stage theme will always stand out to me in particular.

But I also have to shoutout Armored Armadillos theme for having one of the best SNES guitar solos ever made

I’m a little surprised Blizzard Wolfgang’s stage theme didn’t make this list. It’s pretty underrated.

Dude, this is a perfect list. I love that you included several sleeper hits that I always thought didn’t get enough love. The only one missing *for me* is Crystal Snail. It totally captures that cave exploration feeling. You just gained a subscriber.

Wonderful video man! As a fellow longtime X fan (played the first X game back in the summer of 1994) I feel that you included some amazing tracks in your personal list! I DO prefer the X2 intro stage theme over X3's but I'll admit that X3's theme is also very, very good! ;) And while X7 is by FAR my least favorite game in either the Classic or X series, you chose the one track that I also really like! It's okay! Loved seeing the X8 Jacob Tower theme on here too. I also feel that the other Sigma stages feature some fantastic music in X8! And I feel the exact same way as you do about X2 being an underrated game. X4 is definitely my favorite X game but X1 and 2 are neck and neck as far as being my #2 choice. Both games rock!

Storm Eagle stage makes sense like goddamn what a good track. I was hoping for you to name your #1 X song to be the opening stage theme from the first X game tho cuz that song is just so goddamn good and it really sets the mood for the entire game!,

#13 is one of my favourites in any game ever it's so good!!! Overall an amazing list I keep learning more about the Mega Man music thanks to you.

I do not envy you for making even a top 20 stage theme list. In order for me to be happy picking my favorites I'd have to make at least a top 50 lol

Counter hunter stage 1 theme is the theme song of mega man x himself.

We share the number 2 slot, but Kuwanger will always be my number 1. Great list!

I said to myself that I think that Gravity Beetle will be Number 1, and I wasn't too far off! I was bit surprised Boomer and Mijinion didn't make the actual list, but I think I understand where you are coming from. Storm Eagle is a great track! But it almost feels like it's cheating, haha. It's in its own category for me. Great list!

From the 8 X games not counting Maverick Hunter X or Command Mission my favorites would have to be: X - Sigma Palace 2 X2 - Counter Hunter Stage 1 X3 - Volt Catfish (Arranged Version) X4 - Storm Owl X5 - Duff McWhalen X6 - Rainy Turtloid X7 - Splash Warfly X8 - Gravity Antonion

Just finished the original Mega Man list of top 20 music before watching this and honestly, I can't help but to say how your takes are just on point. From addressing the wide classics to even the obscure, knowing they are obscure, the lists are simply clean. Also shout outs to Mega Man X's Staff Roll, but I guess the entirety of MMX's OST could have been added realistically.

I’m really partial to Volt Catfish from MM X3 (which didn’t make your list) but what did make the list is great! Spark Mandrill will always be my favorite X track though. When that 2nd harmony line comes in during the main riff, it still gives me chills after damn near 30 years!

First song is from Mega Man X 3, immediately sending me into PTSD because of the difficulty of that game LOL. Very cool topic for a video! Great job man

I have one track that you should really re listen to and I think youl love it. Staff roll from X1. Since a lot of people can't beat the final boss I feel like it's not able to be heard and it's great. Please give it a relisten

One of my favorites (which didn't make the list) was Burn Dinorex's theme. that has one of the most jamming themes I've heard! Also love Storm Eagle's as well, and then there's Storm Owl's theme as well. 18 of the 20 songs I was able to correctly guess (messed up on Phoenix's because I thought it was Dinorex's theme at first), which shows the songs still stick in my mind to this day... Even could guess several of the honorable mentions too!

Cool stages

Boomer Kuwanger has grown to be my favorite over time. Used to be storm eagle but nowadays nothing gets me as pumped

I'm going to predict that storm eagle stage is number 1. Your too predictable Kevin, lol. Still it's an awesome top 20 list and I'm glad infinity mijinion and shield sheldon get an honorable mention because I do have a lot of fondness for megaman X6 just on its music alone since i know the game gets a lot of hate.

Great list! Mine top 3 is 1.mmx 2 zero theme 2.gravity beetle 3.mmx 3 opening

Of these, I like Blizzard Buffalo (X3), Sigma Stage 1 (X1) and Storm Eagle (X1). I like many of the tracks in X6. Metal Shark Player is a good one, as is Blizzard Wolfang. I like the Stage Select music and opening level too for X6.

Unrelated but you should really try out Mega Man X Online Deathmatch, it's basically online multiplayer SNES MMX i really can't hear X1-X3's tracks without thinking of this fangame lol

Armored Armadillo is my favorite theme in all Megaman. It is shame what happen to that theme in the PSP.

Doppler Stage 1 1. Crystal Snail I also wanted to include Gate's theme but since it isn't stage theme I took it out.

I love storm eagle song

People have different taste, what you think is good, other might see it as bad. But to me, your taste is almost the same . Most of your tracks are memorable in my opinion. Aside from X7 and X8 series, everything else fitted to a T. To me, X7 simply don't leave any impress, and my favorite theme in X8 is not the elevator, but Troia base - Optic SunFlower. But then again, people have different opinions. In fact, I like almost every theme from X1 to X4..

Solid picks but I disagree with your Zero theme choice. In my opinion: X4’s Zero theme is far superior!

20-Boring 19-Ok song 18-Never played 17-Very nice 16-Worst of the SNES opening stage themes, but still very good 15-Never played 14-Boring 13-Amazing! The buildup is great. What a theme. 12-Doesn’t sound like MMX music. 11-Awesome! Used to be my fave years & years ago, now it’s in the middle of X2’s Maverick themes. 10-Nice! Great PS1 intro for MMX. 9-One of my favorites! Used to just set the controller down while playing just to listen to it. Never cared much for the X5 version 8-Popular pick, but never cared much for it. Oh well. Maybe it reminded me of dying constantly to get the Hadouken...I don’t know. 7-Reminds me of dying 2 seconds in. Guess I should have known to jump? It’s pretty good. 6-Very good song but I’ve heard much better. 5-Aww Yeah, here we go! 4-Nah...I only see that dumb donut. I can’t like something if I only get reminded of a donut & a lame boss fight. 3-Awesome! Needs to be longer though. 2-Great pick! My 2nd favorite from X3. 1-Great, classic pick. Bit short to me & used to be my favorite as a kid. I think he was my first Maverick choice, so it sticks. Fun list! Thanks!

Storm Eagle may one of the best weapon. But the music I think it's fairly good but not one of the best. Compare only BGM Storm Owl better than Storm Eagle.

Great list, but I have to say that Storm Eagle's Theme is in my opinion one of the most overrated themes in the series. I can't seem to like it much no matter how many times I listen to it.
