Hey, Matt. Another of many, many great videos. Again this starts out big and ends huge. Wow. I think my fav card would be the Griffey Finest. I liked Jeter but liked Griffey more. Have a good one.

Hey Matt, I have a 93’ SP Jeter that I pulled out of a box back when they came out. I had it graded bye BGS in 08’ and came back as shaved left edge. I never touched it and looks to be graded at least a 9 or higher. Not sure why it would come back with an improper tamper? It’s in fantastic shape. Should I give it a shot again with PSA?

The so called junk wax era, will soon be king. We have misinterpreted these cards and by doing so missed a market that has i think huge potential. I have tons of these vauable cards.

Another Great video! These cards are so tough to come by... Makes me want to go hunting.

I love the videos!!! Can you do the top 20 cards of pitchers that have won the Cy Young award from the Junk Wax Era? There are some gems out there like the Glavine 1988 Topps Cloth Experimental, Maddux Cannon Cubs, and Clemens Topps RC.

Thanks for the video Youngling. You should try to come to Vegas November 7th because they're probably the last opportunity to get and make 1/1 with the last living all time greats. Especially anything with Sadaharu Oh Willie and Hank. Get something autographed by them and Griffey jr. Reggie and eventually Pujols and. The only 2 Sadaharu Oh's I had are old and misplaced!

Good video. I noticed Griffey is on this list quite a few times. It's amazing to see the prices on these. I been focusing on, however, a set that nobody else has been paying attention to; which is his 1989 Star set. Picked up some PSA10 copies for 200.00 of his rookie promo. Pop report of only 42 total, and just 17 graded PSA10. I heard these were printed in very limited quantities, so not many out there. I heard the promos only have 400 copies or so printed, but this is just hearsay. I cant confirm nor deny it, but I say they're definitely rare.

8:48 when are you expecting to liquidate this item?

Somewhere I have 92 and 93 Topps micro sets unopened. Wasnt there random gold cards in them as well?

The 1992 Topps Micro set did have Gold parallels however the 1993 had Prism and the 1991 had none. I believe,

Starting lineup cards (that’s already open) and cereal cards shld be good pic ups of certain players in certain yrs!!! I just got several 89 Topps folders that look identical to the card counterpart, I got bout 4 Nolan Ryan’s they’re selling better then the actual cards on eBay. I just wish I’d got atleast one Glavine rookie!! I don’t remember then when I was a kid but they’re bout8x10 with the stars on back and all. Can these be graded????

It sold at auction for $10,000 ungraded four months ago. I looked it up on the MAVIN cards free online auction results price guide. I found 2 of them in my collection. PSA 8-9’s. Just wondering what makes this card so desirable. Just because it says George on it?

No doubt! The Aqueous Test's weren't inserted in packs they came from Donruss employee I believe.

I bought a frank thomas and bo Jackson set at a sporting goods store in Auburn the year they came out. Wish I’d bought more.

I went to yard sale and bought a unopened 1993 Upperdeck box. On the right hand front of box it tells you this set is all gold holograms. 50 bucks for box, and sure enough they were all gold holograms. 1 out of every 15 boxes and I got one.

Jordan Robinson if it’s a glossy back then it is a Tiffany. It depends though. There’s also an article where you can find the difference.

I did do a junk wax video awhile ago but those, for the most part, were cards you could pull from actual wax boxes. These cards, for the most part, you cannot. So it's a little different.

Love the videos , but hate the tiffany and other odd ball sets. Everyone always lists these sets with junk wax era.

To many Tiffaneys for me. The public was never allowed to even buy these cards. Even the Topps Traded weren't for sell to the kids bying cards in the 80s.

You make me cringe showing these, I've had so many of these cards back in the 90s. My favorite will always be the 1991 Topps Desert Shield Ken Griffey Jr. I had 2 of them. And I had the 93 Finest Refractor Ken Griffey Jr and let it go for 350 in 2005.

These are fun to talk about but it's not realistic to own any of them i think

minor leagues sets are not from "junk wax" Tiffany factory sets are not from "junk wax" Glossy factory sets are not from "junk wax" Traded sets are not "junk wax" Micro sets are not "junk wax" regional/war sets are not "junk wax" and I think Opening Day was a set... and never saw Canadian OPC for five bucks a box? so was the Juan "Gone" the only RC pulled from a "junk wax" pack? PS back in the day we called those "Rookie Card Parallels" and NOT RCs

@@damiangrzywacz6739 sorry for being technical, this pandemic has me on edge, because I lost all four of my card shops after Black Swan events like this, one shop after the Asian Financial Crisis then two more after 9/11, when 3,000 card shops closed across America so please be VERY CAREFUL investing in cardboard right now because I think it will all come down at least 50%
