Actually, nemo got more than 84% possible jury votes, while salvador sobral got around 75% of possible votes. Does that mean nemo has the highest jury score ever?

Yes, Nemo has the highest jury score since 2009. Loreen from 2023 is actually in the second place. And Sobral is on the third place.

Realtalk, that are my thoughts every TIME I HEAR THIS SONG, Portugal 2017 had a good balad, but WHERE is the wow effect. For me, it is quite boring and nothing special, i don't get it. And how did it do so good with the public? Bulgaria had feelings and a young man with a powerful voice. Bulgaria deserved their first win right there!!!!

Amar pelos dois IS not a fan favourite for eurofans but juries loved It because it's one of the best songs ever on Eurovision and casual fans LOVE It too. It was the best song that year by far

I hate how the juries sometimes give almost all the points to one song like the last 2 years. It gives no chance to the televote winners. Except for 2017 ofc.

You say it like all the juries agree on how much point at the end which one will receive. There's not only one jury, but a group of them for each country, and they independetly give points to the other countries. If at the end, all the points combined give a lot of points to one specific artist, it's because all of them agreed independently.

Well, televote-only semifinals definitely contribute to it. You can't expect a diverse jury voting if some of their favourites are left in the semis by televotets and not much left in the final.

It's not possible for the juries to give almost all the points to one song. They have to give their points to 10 different songs. 12p, 10p, 8 p, 7 p, 6p, 5p, 4p, 3p, 2p, 1p. They just rank the songs from 1 to 26, and the songs that is in the top 10 of the country's jurors combined gets the scores. They don't know what the other jurors, or the televoters preferred. And just because a country's jury gave 12 p to one country doesn't mean that all of the jurors in that country had that song as their favorite. Let's look the the UK jury, for instance. They gave 12p to Portugal. But only one of the UK jurors had that song as their favorite: A Switzerland B Ireland C Portugal D Switzerland E Croatia But Portugal got the 12 p from the UK because, the jurors that didn't rank Portugal 1st, ranked it 2-3rd, while one of the jurors ranked Switzerland 10th. Out of all the countries, there was only one country, Italy, where all of the jurors had the same favorite, in all the other juries the jurors had different opinions one which one they liked the most.

Everything is on Wikipedia pages. Just look for example for Eurovision Song Contest 2015 and you get the whole table with split points.

Well, there's only data for 14 years. And there are a few jury winners that won the whole thing but didn't make it here (like 2010, 2014)

​@@livinglegendlanadelrey Overall Switzerland deserved that 1st place of the Jurys. No other song next to Switzerland, the only one would be Ukraine, is compared to they're performance even good. Perfect staging, perfect vocals, perfect show overall. I can't even hit the high notes AND I wouldn't be able to hit those notes while spinning on a freaking wheel. They had charisma too. To be honest and fair, it was clear, that this is going to win the Jurys.

@@deadyui8199 I agree. Although the jury vote is very disproportionate, I think it actually makes sense, look at all the reasons you gave, that's it. Original song, original staging, difficult song and staging to perform and they nailed it... They had no rival on the jury vote, that's why I think when we look at other songs in this list it gives me a little bit of the icks, because they don't have the same amount of everything The Code had to be awarded with THAT many points

Too Late For Love, Is It true, Nobody But You - good pop songs, good vocals Tattoo - performance and voice Dance You Off - really I don't know. Good song but not on 2nd place... Vocals weren't the best. I don't understand Macedonia 2019 and Latvia 2015 - good voice, bad song and boring performance
