Watching Liam Neeson talk about the fact there's no only one and then him losing his wife yet effectively being single for 15 years begs to differ on his assertion 😢❤

Rowan Atkinson "This is SO much more than a bag". The "no bloody holly" scene makes me laugh no matter how many times I watch it. Alan Rickman was the best!

This movie takes simple "human experience" and pushes the boundary over a cliff! It's REAL! It's ALL there.. Joy and laughter. Marriage and adultery. Self expectation and self realization. We NEED other people!

Simply a fantastic movie with so many iconic actors and actresses in so many hilarious, sad and poignant scenes.Emma Thompson is breathtaking as the betrayed wife along with the perfect Joni Mitchell song-if that doesn’t bring a tear to your eye you’re made of stone! My fav comedy scene has to be (of course) Rowan Atkinson as the shop assistant-that man could make root canal work funny

It's a film full of absolutely stellar scenes, and every time I watch it, I always wish my father were still alive and we could have watched it together. I think you've selected very, very well. I think my favourite scene is when Aurelia comes down the stairs to Jamie. She is utterly enchanting,. Sam's wonderfully mobile face is and Joanna's unexpected kiss really make your number one number one. I wish you could have included Daisy telling Karen she hd been selected to play a lobster - FIRST lobster - in the Nativity play; Karen responds with incredulity over the fact that there were two lobsters present at the birth of Jesus, to which Daisy replies 'duh.' And I wish you had included the scene with Nancy the caterer and the spat-out food. All brilliant.

One of the most gloriously joyful movies of all time. Of course I bought a copy and watched it over and over. I can't believe I gave away all my dvd's, yikes! It's great to revisit these scenes. You missed another of the great ending scenes, with the Wisconsin girls arriving at the airport. There should be a whole genre of movies like this... lots of stories of love. Oh, yes, and the other ending, maybe as the credits roll, all those people at the airport meeting up with loved ones. Real people.
