How 'bout this: I, without even knowing you, could accuse you of beating me (or an even worse offense I won't name). The media and the public would instantly side with me just for being a woman. Even if a court found no evidence, your reputation would be destroyed for life. How do I know this? Because it's happened. Many times. Some men have been in jail for years only to finally be released later when it turns out--whoopsie!--they didn't do it. And if you don't think a woman would weaponize accusations of abuse, then you're a fool. As for the court system, women receive 1/3 the sentencing for committing the same crime as a man, if they're even sentenced at all. There are women that have straight up killed their own kids and gotten away with it, when a man in the same situation would have been railroaded right into prison. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure all of the people in his life that have stood up for Johnny--including Heard's own parents--know him better than YOU do. Sit down, clown.

We are all entitled to our own opinions, however, I want to give my perspective as an autistic female. Men on the autism spectrum have leaps and bounds more representation in mainstream media than their female counterparts. Sia, a disabled female, should understand more so than many about the lack of accurate representation of female disabled voices in mainstream media. She had the perfect opportunity to let someone who is autistic tell their own story. The comments made after being called out and working with Autism $peaks in the production of the film proves that she did not care about accurately representing autistic people. It is hurtful and annoying to see myself and my community being represented without having a say in it. This movie could have been a great first step, but it didn't happen. "Nothing about us, without us." We all feel differently about things, however, the majority of the Autistic Community does not feel represented by this film, and will not be supporting it. I believe that Sia should be held accountable for being ableist, insensitive to a condition that she has no idea about (clearly), and unable to take criticism from the people she is "representing". Many people won't care, which is why she will continue having billions of streams, making millions of dollars, and not be forced to truly take accountability. However, she has lost a lot of respect from fans that used to adore her, and it is heartbreaking that someone who makes music for the underdogs and those who feel like they don't fit in alienated so many people. She did not allow a minority to tell their own story.

The sad part in this list is the number of people punished for things in their past, the ability of a few zealots to bring someone down and the inability for these trolls to understand that we all have stuff we've said and regretted. I want to know why it wasn't brought up that two of her ex girlfriends accused her of verbal and physical abuse. I guess if you're a woman no one believes you if you are a victim or if you're the perpetrator. Women like her are the reason why no one believes actual victims of abuse.
