I have three favorites. One is Meryl Streep and her husband. They let one another do their own thing and never forced either one to stop doing what they love. Two is Dolly Parton and her Husband Carl. He's never once stopped her from doing what she loves and they've been together for years. They are both supportive of one another. Finally, Isaac Hanson and his Wife Nikki. I like Taylor Hanson and his Wife Natalie and I like Zac Hanson and his Wife Kate as well. I just feel like Nikki wanted to be with him not for the money but because she truly loves him. She's supportive of him and everything he does. They give each other space when they need it. The story of how they met was adorable as well. They met at one of his shows in New Orleans during the show. He saw her in the crowd and loved her smile and thought she was cute. In order to get her attention he threw one of his guitar picks at her. She apparently still has said guitar pick. Before their wedding he wrote and recorded a song for her and played it at their wedding. They are couples goals.

That sounds ridiculous, since you think you're marrying a fantasy partner, not a real, flawed and regular human being. You would be setting yourself up for disappointment! No one, not even celebrities, want a "FAN!" for a spouse. I've met a lot of famous people, and they have worries about their looks, money, retirement, their kids, etc , just like we all do. Mostly the music industry is the worst for wives flipping out as fantasy barbies when they finally land a rock star. It's cringeworthy and awful to see them demanding and pretending to be stars, when their only talent is having married someone with talent, which they don't have. There is a tremendous amount of bragging and posturing...like the Kardashians, people who are famous for having a big butt or who film their sex with more famous people, or who just go to every possible event covered by anyone with a camera. Has anyone ever heard intelligence conversation from any of these people? They are eventually, unbelievably boring...

Publicists and producers don't really count as "normal people". They're not celebrities themselves, but they still have ties to the inner circles of famous and wealthy people. It's not exactly a random cafe meet cute scenario.

Male celeb married to regulate people is not very wow. But female celeb married to normal people that is interesting. This is because, women are usually attracted to alpha. So, any alpha trade she got, she be hoping her husband at least rival her in it. So, on dating sites girls will always look for guys that are better educated and make more money. And the reality is that A-list celebs makes a lot of money and as a Hollywood dream girl she got a lot of options. But, by the end of the day you can't help who you fall in love with. So, sometimes rich and successful female celeb still ended up with regular people.

Im a normal person who married a man in music. We love that we get to spend 'tour weeks' apart, it gives us something to talk about when he gets home. 23 years, it works for us.

Anyone with a million in assets set up a trust back in the day when the British socialist government confiscated most estates with high taxes. Many “registered” homes were given to the government because people were land rich and cash poor and their property. Family owned farms were even put into trusts.

Sorry, but the Swedish prince Daniel has Kate beat on the cinderella front. He grew up in a tiny town, went into a few fitness businesses and ended up as a personal trainer to the crown Princess Victoria. He ended up marrying her, getting a prince title and will presumably end up both husband and father of queens.

So does the Danish Crown Princess. She is a legit commoner as well and randomly met the Crown Prince in a pub during the Olympics. Like she wasnt even rich when they met. She worked in marketing and has a law degree like a million other people. 🤣 Kate isn't even close to being from a normal family. Like she was basically a part of the inner circle already just be family ties.

So she was definitely a part of the rich crowd. So again, basically a socialite, attending parties with rich people who knew the royals ect. So she is not a commoner. She legit went to a prep school that cost over £20.000 for a day school and more for a half boarder for years .. It's not exactly what I would call a commoner. Mette-Marie is more so what I would call a commoner.

Funny but true the most famous successful marriages are with a celebrity and non celebrity. Now here a small observation it worked better with Male famous woman not famous Examples Pierce Brosnan and his wife Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hugh Jackman and his wife Bono from U2 and his wife Robert Downey Jr and Susan

Most of these may not have married celebs, but they did marry people in the business. My favourite pairings are those who married true everyday people, like Ariana and Ed Sheeran, they met their partners outside of fame altogether..... Unlike through work, backstage, at a premiere etc.

there are many couples that have this unique characteristic; however, there is one relationship that can fall in this list. The marriage between Dolly Parton and her husband Carl Thomas Dean. Not only is she famous, he isn't, also they have been married over 50 years. Dolly has said in interviews he doesn't light the lime light and he doesn't go on tour with her at times.

All 3 of the Hanson brothers married normal women. Actually they were all fans that they met at concerts. Zac and Taylor met their wives backstage at a concert in Georgia. Isaac met his wife during the concert in New Orleans and threw a guitar pick at her to get her attention.

@@juliechildress8905 well I had to for 2 reasons. One I'm from Tulsa, Oklahoma where they're from and two I'm a huge fan of them. My dad and my sister have seen Isaac Hanson around Tulsa before. My sister saw him at a Target once around 2008. She didn't want to bother him so she didn't ask for a picture or an autograph. My dad saw him at a Lowe's a few years ago. He walked past him and said hi to him and Isaac said hi back.

I totally agree because where I'm from we're taught "men from privilege go for women who are from privilege" and those so-called "normal people" are really another form of privilege that's all.

Eugene Levy, an actor, and Deborah Divine, a comedy script writer, will have been married for 45 years next month. I don't know if that counts? Catherine O'Hara married set designer Bo Welch in 1992 and have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last month meeting on the set of the Tim Burton movie Beetlejuice in 1988.

I moved to Ireland in 2004 and met my now husband at the airport the first person i met when i landed. We have been together ever since.

I think this is pretty rare. Famous people seem to stick with famous people. I think they may fell that they have more in common with other people in their field. It should be more about who the person is at the core and less about their status.

The guys in Metallica don’t count? James is worth hundreds if millions of dollars, is the singer of arguably the biggest metal band in history, and his wife is not a celeb and her and their kids are very private. Should have been number one.

As a big fan of metal music, I've noticed that most metal musicians do not act like "celebrities" and do not expose their private life to the public. Quite a lot of metal musicians, especially those who are not frontmen, are married to "normal" people. But I'm glad to see Metallica mentioned here

I agree it's about having each other's back no matter what and deep love. #Teamwork & Being real with one another. It's not about money but a real connection and chemistry. Too bad some don't see that they would be much happier instead of their status being more important.

I don't think people who are in the industry are necessarily 'normal' just because you're not famous, doesn't mean that your not part of the industry. I don't think many people would be able to pick out most Directors/Producers in a line up but does that make them 'normal'?
