Ace of the diamond is one of the best animes I've watched to date, and I've watched well over a hundred.
Run With the Wind is such a great anime. As former cross country/track athlete it made me incredibly nostalgic. Even if you know nothing about running it is still a must watch, the story and characters are top tier.

Slamdunk, Haikyu and Hajime no Ippo deserve the spots❤👍 this are the favorite sports anime in the Philippines. Because Basketball, Boxing and Volleyball are one of the main sports in our beloved country 🏀 🥊 🏐 ♥ 🇵🇭

Much better but you need Captain Tsubasa: the anime that made football popular in Japan, that inspired the Japanese national team and other famous football players such as Messi and Iniesta, one of the best-selling manga in history that went on for 43 years (and only stopped this year, actually), whose protagonist has a bronze statue in Tokyo and appeared in the opening or closing ceremony for two Olympics, that is quoted in tons of recent anime such as Blue Lock, and whose author was asked to take pictures, sign autographs and participate in promo for World Cups. Any top 3 of sports anime should include Captain Tsubasa.

Firstly I don't consider baki sport anime, more like fighting/martial arts anime. And inazuma eleven is not that good to be top 20 maybe top 30 or so

That's a really tough question. I could give one for each genre. Ippo is up there for sure but Hunter x Hunter is one of my favourites.

It is a great show, but there are so many good ones. I mostly base my lists on the anime rating so people just rate it a little bit lower than the 19 shows above. Still a legendary sports anime!

Yeah I think it's tough to rank it. As an anime it might be number 1 but as a strictly sport anime it might not even be top 5.
