Hi Derek, Top form video. I enjoyed Bit A Sweet the most. Then, Eden's Children. But seeing you light 🕯️ up when you talked about all this great music was the highlight actually.

Hey man, i just recently discovered your channel and you've become my Sherpa as I've dug deeper into the psych genre. Would love to see you do more labels, I've always enjoys ABC but definitely added some new albums to my discogs want list. Take care.

Hi Derek. Another great video. I agree with you, abc label is really good and they had many great bands/artists for us to discover. I have few of these as well. Be safe!

Great video Derek! Love both Eden's Children and Salvation and they are in my top 5 along with the Graffiti. I have all those on your list except the Bit' A Sweet which has been eluding me. Other than the ones I see on the shelf behind you, Freedom's Self Titled (ABC-708) is a good one as well, following more in the hard rock realm like Demian.

Bit 'A Sweet has a been tough one to file ever since I've had one too. I forgot to mention those at the end. Had Freedom on there too.

Very nice Sean. The label offered lots of varied styles in the psych territory.

I'm a big abc collector as well.great list. Larry Kiley w from EC was a great guy. Went to school with him in 84-85 Traded my bit a sweet yrs ago but regret it now

Hi Derek, Thanks for the ABC ranking. I know it must have been a mini undertaking. For the most part, I think you did good. I have not heard every album here, but I trust your opinions. For me , the 1st Fraturnity of Man is better that the 1st Salvation.

I think the Capitol list took longer actually haha. I can understand the Fraternity over Salvation decision. I totally forgot to mention them. Some real nice acid rock sprinkled on there definitely! Thanks for sharing Ron.

NICE list. I wouldn't rank "Influence" in the top 500 of ABC label releases, but basic agreement with the rest. My top 5: Graffiti, Ford's Theatre 1 (the second is good as well), Bagatelle, Queen's Nectarine Machine, Puzzle.

I'm in the minority with Puzzle. I parted with that one too. Only had a couple highlights for me.

You have way more ABC labels than I do. I have a few but not many of these bands are in my wheelhouse. I would pay up for Edens Children though. In fact your top four are solid. IMHO. LOL

Been looking forward as well! No Queen's Necatarine Machine?? What about James Gang "rides again" ha! When you said ABC proper I was like damn, are there that many ABC only records this good? I think you found 'em! I was wondering where Bit A Sweet was going to end up. That would probably be top 3. The one I need to check out the most is that Click. Sounds most up my alley. Eden's Children I don't know. I purged the first album and never heard the 2nd. Sometimes rash decisions are made. Totally with you on Bubble Puppy / Demian. Demian is 2nd rate but good hard rock. I just sold my WLP of Demian last year when I saw what it would yield. I like it but pretty straight forward hard rock. Jan & Lorraine...what a record. I had only seen it but never checked it out until you showed it not too long ago. It's now up there for me in that hard-to-pin-down / late night / off-kilter vibe. Great selections though! I think a few of these other ones (Gallery / Strange Brew / maybe Free Spirits) might be at my local shop right now! Fun fact, Free Spirits recorded by RVG. Well done Derek, hope Omaha is fruitful for you!

Nope, Queen's Nectarine didn't make the cut for me. It has its moments though. I didn't even consider James Gang. I guess I was thinking of their debut on Bluesway, but was reissued on ABC. Click is cool. Never crossed a copy yet. Sadly Omaha didn't offer too much yesterday. I picked up a Tommy Roe I wanted on ABC funny enough. Worked with Curt Boettcher on a couple albums. I did see Graffiti too while I was out there.

Hi from Wales. Not much chance of finding any of these in the uk. Do have ILL Wind and Jan and Lorraine on cd though.

Great video-But what about The Soft Machine and Michele Saturn Rings? Check those out my psychedelic people. And why not any proper reissues of many of these psychedelic classic records like they do all the old Jazz records? Shout out to analogue productions. Also, are the reissues of Gandalf on Capitol records any good? Very hard to find and very expensive

Soft Machine is on Probe. I have not heard the reissue of Gandalf. But I haven't heard any complaints about it from friends I know who own it. I imagine the reissue is becoming scarce now too.

@@PsycheDerek. That is interesting! I've always loved this album. Have you checked out some of the groups who made singles on ABC but not albums? One that I recently picked up is "Dialated Eyes" By The Gregorians which is a real gem.
