while I do agree on some of these generals others are a bit questionable. the most questionable placement is of Qutuz instead of Baibars who was much more successful, This list also didn't include great names like Timur, Suleiman, Mehmet, Harun Al Rashid, Aurangzeb, Akbar, Abd Al Rahman, Al Ma'mun, Berke Khan, Ghassan, Ahmad Al Mansur, Alp Arslan, Mahmud Ghazni, Mansa Musa, or Nadir Shah. while I don't expect you to put all of these as the top 15 because you guys did have solid choices I'm perplexed as to why at least one of these weren't included.

As much as you may love Khalid it is wrong to show the sword of Ali (Dhulfiqaar) when talking about Khaalid ibn Walid. Why did you not mention the most important battle (Khandaq) where Medina was surrounded and the greatest warrior of the Arabs came alone to challenge the Muslim warriors all of whom feared to face him except of course Ali? The Prophet sent Ali with Dhulfiqaar and Ali fought Amr ibn Abd Wud one on one finishing him and destroying the morale of the Pagans who then left.

Assalamualaikum, some of your history is sketchy. 1) Khalid Ibn Al Walid (RA)'s greatest victory was in the Battle of Yarmouk, where the Muslim army, under his command, defeated the Byzantine Army and the Byzantines had to withdraw from all lands of Asia and Africa, FOREVER. 2) Umar Ibn Khattab (RA) was the Caliph under whose rein the Muslims defeated both the Byzantine Empire and the Persian Empire. But he was not the field general in either of those campaigns. The Byzantines were defeated by Khalid Ibn Al Walid(RA) as the field commander and the Persians were defeated by S'ad Ibn Abi Waqqas(RA) as the field commander. 3) Muhammad bin Quasim was the one who defeated Dahir and established an Islamic foothold in Sindh, not the other person you talked about.

Why he should say RA? If you ask me, im not sure to say RA to Khalid.. because he did a lot of war crimes.. even in time of prophet.. but there after many more.. Myawiya killed muslims and didnt accept Ali. Why i should respect somone who was against people of islam.

Also need to correct some facts. Ali bin Abi Thalib was not raised by the Prophet SAW after his parents died. But was taken in because of economoc difficulties. One of Abu Thalib's sons was taken in by Abbas RA, while Ali was.taken up by the prophet R.A.

All sahabas Ra were great warriors and generals like hazrat amr IBN AL as Ra , Saad IBN abi waqas Ra , zarrar IBN azwar Ra and many more and besides sahabas hazrat Aurangzeb Ra , Mehmet Al fatih Ra

I agree with most of your list from Hazarat Khalid bin Walid. The only one who should not be there is Hazrat Umar (RA), although and esteemed Muslim caliph, he was no general and all the Muslim conquests that occured during his time were by other prominent sahaba. He never actually led a military campaign personally. So he does not deserve to belong there. Ali definitely personally led Muslim armies against he Rebel forces of Muawiyah. etc. So he deserves to be there.
