Jed MacKay and Kelly Thompson are really the unsung heroes of the current Marvel lineup. Everything they touch is heartfelt and genuinely well-written. I'm glad to see they're finally getting some omni love, it's overdue, especially for Kelly. You're going to love Black Cat and going in cold is the right call.

File it under Zomnibus methinks! I love Batman/TMNT. Freddie Williams is so unique and brilliant. Superior Spidey is an amazing run. Great vid 👍✨✨✨✨✨

I’m really excited for the Super Sons. I have the first print and skipped the second print because the additions didn’t seem like enough to justify the cost. But with even more issues this time, I’m willing to dive in. I’m also with you on the Ultimate FF omni. It may not have stayed good, but the early issues rival Ultimate Spider-Man in quality.

Cool list, I got the Question Omnibus 1 for my birthday so looking forward to vol 2. Also Batman & Robin Eternal was pretty good from what I remember - hoping they do a reissue of the Batman Eternal omnibus to go with it!

The Batman Adventures Omnibus (ie the comics based on the animated tv show based on comics) tops my list. Been waiting for this one for so longe, it's gonna be a blast.

Was expecting his #1 to be this or the Batman Hush Saga Omni.

They should make a hardcover omnibus of the Kang Dynasty. I know they have a paperback one (which I own) but I feel like it needs to be an actual Omni.

I'd put the Marvel Zombnibus under Z for Zombies due to the fact that it's not a part of the regular universe, it's like and else worlds book so it's more a zombie book , just with superheroes

I'm only going to be getting the 2 Ultimate books off your list, But I'm looking forward to the JMS Thor Omni although that's not out till early next year As is UXM. But also there's Excalibur V3, Hawkeye by Matt Fraction, Miles Morales Saladin Ahmed Omni, Batman One bad day Box Set, Dead Boy Detectives classic Omni, Grant Morrison's New X-men, House of M Companion, omni and Judgement day Omni

Can you explain what the different types of graphic novels, omnibus etc and how soon after a comic comes out does it become part of a graphic novel

I started with only reading stuff that has good art in my opinion can range from the 70s till today. Most Omnis are blind buys cause I grew up with Doug Moench Batman and Simpson comics lol.

I dunno if I'd pay whatever the cover price is for UXM v2 but I felt like Bendis/Finch is the peak of the Ultimate X-Men series. While the 2nd omnibus will have the worst of Ultimate X-Men, it will also have the best of it.

Where do you find out the info about all these books coming out?

I bought the 4 immortal hulk omnibus trades and read them after reading Moore's run on swamp thing ( after hearing them compared! ) and I was embarrassed at the writing. Terrible buy I thought. Anyway...months later ( because I always give a book a re-read ) I re-read through them 4 books and really enjoyed it! Mental. Won't upgrade to the Omni but it's a decent read.

@@Fredsinator it should still be December 12. the books I’ve seen move into 2024 were UXM 2, Panther by Priest, X-Factor by PAD, X-Men 2099, Nick Spencer ASM, Rebellion, Spidey 2099, New Warriors, New Republic, Tales of Jedi, HoM Companion, BND, Excalibur HM: Joe Kelly Spider-Man went from 2023->2025

It's crazy to think thY Peter J Tomasi is getting an Omnibus but not Tom King. Don't get me wrong I HATED Tom King's run and I'm actually very happy about it. Just thought it was odd.

Your kidding. The no 1 should be no brainer Jeph fucking Loeb Hush omnibus. I don’t accept this is subjective. Also 700 pages of under the red hood deluxe can be pretty much considered an omnibus, which at least should be mentioned.

It is subjective. I like Loeb but it wouldn't be something I have to drop everything to buy. But I will definitely pick a copy of Under the red hood. Especially since it includes the lost years.
