I like that you have a healthy mix of stuff that is attainable/affordable and stuff to drool over. Also excited to see some more long form content. Excited to see what 2024 brings for the channel.

Thank you! It’s been a transitional year as my longtime business partner and I broke up. I’ve made way more Shorts than long form content but I hope to do much more of both moving forward.

I tried the x-Tao. It would have been on my list for 2022 if I made one!

Also on the msi. Its weird some g10 ones have 5 screws on each side like yours and some only have 3. The other 2 are under the scales. I have the frn version and it has 5 on both sides. But i love it. Just weird to have different variations like that

Great list!! I'm so sick of hearing about the spine whack test, I'm like you and not a fan at all. If it's done at all, it should never be done on a new knife, over time the Lock bar and blade tang will marry(wear together) and be less likely to fail. But, it doesn't matter if it does fail even then, it's irrelevant in my opinion. It's like an internal combustion engine, when you take it apart, there will be sets of for example, rocker arms and push rods, they are exactly the same and made to very tight tolerance to all be exactly the same..BUT you never mix match these parts because they have worn together and married over time. Alot of times this spine whack test is done on new knives that haven't worn in... I'm sorry for rambling it just been driving me crazy lately.... lol!! Great vid!

Heyyyyy i agree. I dont like ultem either. Everyone else does. It came out as a vape material years ago and it was ugly on those. Why the heck did they bring it to knives. It is not stronger then g10 or even frn. It is somewhat strong. But ugly and not better then our other materials. Expecially any type of carbon fiber. Ultem looks like hardend or frozen piss from a dehydrated dog
