Stacy Reid was the main historical romance author I read this year. A Scoundrel of Her Own and A Matter of Temptation were the ones I read and they completely swept me away. 🐪

⁠​⁠@@FiFiReadsBooks Sometimes I say that fantasy romances are basically historical romances but with magic. lol Not really but close with a lot of the settings that fantasy romances are set in. I love thrillers! They’re actually a comfort read for me. But I can understand if you’re not into them. But if you ever did, romantic suspense would be a good start. You’re welcome! 😀

I finally read scoundrel of her own. Wow!! Devlin is the man! If he only can my real BF 😅 Also, I love your rec of "get thee off my lawn." It was Funny and spicy. Also, from your list, I read "forever your rogue " I loved the hero. I felt his love for the heroine, but I am used to a more mature man ( like Devlin). I can't wait to try another one of your recommendations from your top books. Thanks again. Have you read " knockout " by sarah maclean? It reminds me of scoundrel of her own. The hero loves fiercely as well.

Okay, I def need to read A Scoundrel of Her Own by Stacy Reid, I haven't read her yet and I think that is a great place to start bc Again The Magic is an absolute long time fav. I also need to put the Lorraine Heath Sins for All Seasons series higher on my tbr for this year. All 5⭐️?! That's a MUST read. I def look forward to chatting about historicals with you!

Hello. I love angst so I had to go through the list again but I think a good low angst one would be The Lady Gets Lucky. It's pretty upbeat and fun. I hope you enjoy it!
