Hello. Thanks for the TBR. I just started reading romance novels last year. Before that, I only read nonfiction. I read tessa Dare and lisa kleypas, and then I was hooked. However, i despised "again the magic." Can you explain why this book is so loved? McKenna was too angry for my taste. No youtuber explains why they love him. Also, Aline was not forthcoming, which was extremely frustrating, but people loved her. I want to enjoy the romance, too, but there must be something that I am missing. Any thoughts would be appreciated. No judgment. Thanks again for your channel..Nikki

I think for me McKenna’s anger was justified because he had over a decades worth of anger and hostility to work through. I understand where you’re coming from with Aline. She was trying to hide her scars from him. I was a bit annoyed by her pushing him away a second time but I guess it didn’t bother me enough to ruin the book for me. I’m not sure why the characters are so beloved though.
