I swear to all that is dear in the world the only thing I want from this whole video game series is dapples with fizzy and trizooka/booyah/zipcaster and then I will not ask nor complain about anything anymore. I will endure terrible metas, pay to win scandals, bad quality expansions, EVERYTHING it takes to get to a good kit. It's been seven years since dapples became a thing. For 5 years I have been a shameless OTP. I have played all three games and every single expansion, I got to X rank, to profeshional, I got my badges, made my splat tag and decorated my locker. There is ONLY ONE THING LEFT. A GOOD. DAPPLE. KIT. Please Squid Research Lab, bring little Takeshi to the playground and put a grown adult to design the new kits, and let there be light. As a tetras fan, I want fizzy so bad. Good paint, movement capabilities, poking, and DPS. I never thought about wail, but it sounds interesting. 8 rolls would be all powerful.

Ever since we learned Wail resets rolls on Douser Dualies, I have been imagining what Tetras could do. It seems slightly OP in my opinion, but its end lag might make up for that.

I'm not sure if you realised this but on the Dowser Dualies killer wail can be used to cancel your dodge roll endlag. On tetras that would mean 8 DODGE ROLLS. So yeah with curling bomb the mobility on that thing would be absolutely insane

@@Petanifer Oh I agree that inkbrush is a great kit, but at the time I was talking about what I wanted for a tri-slosh kit (Because we only had 1 at the time) and wanted to include them in the conversation, I was not prepared for the reply.

Having footage of the kits being played is actually insanely cool, I'd love to see that done more for future kit related videos!!

I don't know why but I kinda wanna see Autobomb and Triple Splashdown on any brush.

I want Splatana Wiper with Super Chumps so damn bad, you have no idea. Sword-wielding ninja flying through the air with their clones (Chumps) and the explosions could combo great with the weapon. Imagine swing Chumps and going, “Ah okay, I’ll just move out the way.” and Cooler QSJ Wiper comes down with them like a jumpscare.

stringer does NOT want wall. that thing is wayyy to active to want wall and with ink efficiency not being the best, you wouldn’t get much use out of it. now point sensor for arc shots sounds hot

I think a lot of subs work with it, but from what I saw from the pbs the ink efficiency with wall wasn't much of a big deal at all. I've seen plenty of other ideas for it though so I wouldn't mind stuff like sensor and I've even seen bow players saying dart would be good.

Dart or Torpedo would be the dream, after trying it on Recycled Brella it seems like it would feel really sweet on Tri-Stringer even if it was weak compared to similar options like Burst Bomb.

Tetras need one honestly. Squiffer getting a third with something crazy would be awesome since we now have a bad one, a perfect one, and then a funny one

I think the devs were smart not to overtune this thing. It's an oppressive weapon similiar to explo that gets splats by trapping players. When you give these weapons too much power, it becomes unfun and cheap to play against them. Long range AOE weapons should never have overtuned kits. Same goes for snipers. Devs are smart and will never give too much power to ranged weapons. I'm fine with them buffing the mains if needed, but we gotta keep you guys in check. Nobody wants overpowered long range weapons! It's bad for the game. You can't give a lethal sub to a ranged AOE weapon. The trap/bomb combo would go too hard.

Whether or not we get 3rd kits in the future this videos gonna be tragic either way

Mini Splatling 3rd Kit Hope: Torpedo/Super Chumps Torpedo is other combo tool like Burst Bomb, but can also be used to locate people from a distance. Super Chumps can help Mini get in by distracting enemies, blocking shots, and/or combo-ing the explosions with the main gun. Alternatively, Inkstorm is good because it can clear a path for the Mini to move forward, heal the user, and chip enemies for 3-2 shot kills. Great video btw I love seeing kit theory crafting videos like these and the modded gameplay looked really fun.

My biggest wish for third kits is to move away from the reference kits. Sure, they’re a little nostalgic and work sometimes but we need to be able to explore new playstyles, not rediscover old ones. Stuff like fizzy, torp, crab, and zip are getting shafted just because there isn’t anything to reference for them. By now most weapons have a reference kit that people are satisfied with, leaving room open for experimentation. Not to mention weapons like tetras that have only had 2 basic kit styles throughout their entire history, both of which underwhelm. It’s honestly time for the devs to get experimental; even if some of them flop it will at least be more interesting than giving sprinkler to slosher again

Your Flingza idea is very close to my dream kit for it. My dream kit for Flingza is Splat Bomb and Crab Tank.

Actually, I have a hunch that we are not gonna get a 3rd set of kits. Wanna know why? Tableturf Battle; cards based on an alternate set of an existing weapon have their patterns mirrored, and I'm not sure how they can do that if all of the weapons get a 3rd kit.

Splat/Inkjet has been my hope for Flingza for a *while* now, so it's nice to see I'm not alone on this.

Not only wail combos well with tetras, but you can also do the four dodge rolls, then activating the wail for another 4 dodge rolls for a total of 8 rolls! It also works for dousers btw.

I would love to see bamboo get fizzy and rain. Fizzy to move in and paint and storm to be supportive with paint snd to keep you alive. And both will be really good to combo with the main weapon. Even though pencil has rain the weapons have very different play styles where I think it could get rain.

Speaking as a mostly casual player, what I think is far more important than 3rd kits is them adding flank routes to some of the "narrow alley with one path through mid" maps. More map verticality would be nice, but oh my goodness maps need more flank routes added. Even at a casual entry level I can feel the need for it. More to the point of the video, more weapons having Inkjet would be neat.

I’ve literally had a document full of all my splatoon 3 wishes so I’m just gonna go ahead and put hose kits here. Dualie Squelchers 3rd kit: Fizzy bomb + Kraken. Fizzy is fairly cheap while offering great paint output, mobility and reliable combo damage. Kraken helps you get in or can be used to save yourself while kiting opponents. This kit is made to be hyper aggressive and keep pressure on while enhancing the situations that DS like to be in. Tri-Stringer 3rd kit: Line Marker + Crab tank. Dart synergizes extremely well with hitting 2 arrows on someone (70 dmg) plus 40 dmg from the dart = kill combo. Crab offers even more long range pressure and can even help with survivability in some situations, just generally good for the weapon.

I never considered rain to work well with wiper, but it does! And funnily enough, I had, at some point, considered the weapon to have splat bomb for its alternate kit, or for a future new splatana, like a dual splatana! (If only Splatoon 3 has more updates after Sizzle season for more weapon variants of the stringer, and splatana class of weapons…) Also, the royal flingza’s design looks *_CLEAN!_* It even has my favorite colors of royal purple, and gold!

Ooo, I really like these kit ideas, they seem really fun to play! I hope we do get third kits in the future to give these weapons second chances for a cool playstyle. I know i'd have fun with these weapons!

Tri-stringer main here, I really do like that kit, but I feel it overlooks exactly how many positions stringer can play. For me personally I would love to see Fizzy or torpedo and tacticooler on it. Tri stringer needs to play by its mobility more than anything else and if you really are struggling with backlines, inkline actually handles them very well being able to scare them with chumps and punish the panicked movement

i see we agree with Tri-Stringer getting Fizzy Bomb. i was hoping for Triple Inkstrike as a panic button. the weapon's not good at close range, and Fizzy Bomb needs a little time to charge. ok, it'd have Fizzy Bomb (super sweet sub for it to have), and Tacticooler's a good option - just remembered the amount if times it saved me... but why not give it Inkstorm? chip damage plus healing, paired with arc shots and Thermal Ink on top of that. but ngl, ProChara's kit doesn't look bad - Splash Wall would save my arse from getting shot from my perch. and Crab Tank's a good offense.

As someone who loves stringer id kill for them to give it line marker and ink storm, nintendo would never realistically give it a lethal bomb of any kind since they buff the indirect damage to 90, but marker can paint its feet and wall for it, mark enemies and do 30 damage which can be combod for a quick kill in the right hands, ink storm also can contribute to effective kills or pushing enemies back as well as painting since stringer struggles with that

As a squiffer main, I would like to say that my dream kit is Autobomb and Zip- Oh wait, they already did that. Well, get rekt all you non squiffer weapons. 😈

I have 2 dream kits and I’m going all out for it, kinda. Reef-lux 550, Burst Bomb and Wave breaker for combo potential, location, and support(Without it being spammable, 210 wave breaker) Douser Dualie deco, Torpedo and Splattercolor screen, able to defend itself, mess with long ranged weapons and able to sneak around. As well as combo potential. Gonna make the screen 190 for this kit

Splatoon 2/3 tent main here. Do curling instead of line marker and I’m sold. Curling makes more sense as it had curling launcher in splatoon 2 and it would combo well with stamp. Shooting curlings out of a launched tent is too much fun. Imagine swimming behind one and then pulling out the hammer only to be followed by your shield coming to protect you. Or charging up a curling bomb and releasing it to splat someone in front of the shield.

Oh thank god we agree on the third Octo kit. I’m hoping for Kraken but I’m worried about it getting Injket to reference 2 though

Killer Wail on Tetra sounds CRAZY, way crazier than Douser which kinda just plays from range and uses Wail... the normal way. Inkbrush is currently the only weapon that can really play with the whole "move while the special activates to mix up the way it works". It sounds insane to play against, but I kinda want a crazy thing like that to try and deal with!

Part of me really wants a lethal bomb for the Tri-Stringer to make up for the Sprinkler/Toxic Mist on the first 2 kits. Another part of me really wants dart after trying it on the Recycled Brella. If they ever fixed the aim on it it would feel amazing, and even if they didn't with arcing your shots making you adjust your aim anyway it's much less of a downside. Plus it would make for a super ink-efficient kit. Wall would be sweet as well of course, but with the two most do-nothing subs on the other two kits it would be so nice with something more active. Crab would be very interesting, having a panic special would be nice with the ball form and the function of crab to sit down with continous fire would be an interesting contrast to how mobile the Tri-stringer can like to be on it's own. I'm really fond of the way both killer wail and super chumps have an instant impact though, in a way something like Crab would pin you down a lot more for a longer period of time. I'd love to see Kraken, for something more mobile and even more close-range punchy.

I feel like inkjet on splat roller would work more because of how it would shark in areas that are also safe to pop a jet without getting camped (usually) and fizzy would just be an all in one as a poking tool, chip damage and movement.

(About Ballpoint) I do love Beakon Chumps but my dream now is Beakon/Zooka, even with Zookas balance how it is right now, I really like that this gives the beakon kit an outright agressive entry option that isn't a transformation like Inkjet. Bp (especially without a bomb) struggles on re entry and I like how this comes together, even if/when Zooka is nerfed

@ProChara One of the kits that I would love is; Tri Slosher + Torpedo + Triple Splash. This weapon would run a probably a couple mains of QR and some subs of swim and qsj. This weapon would be a crazy slayer that goes in quick gets kills and then dies and jumps back and repeats. The torpedo would be a sick combo (like burst) with tri bucket, the splashdown would be 180p - 190p becuase it would be a somewhat frequent special alongside the frequent deaths.

I really like Fizzy on Dapples, thing has trouble painting forwards and Fizzy is a great tool for it. My only problem with Tri is that it's a pretty immobile special for such a fast weapon. To keep the long range damage but adding mobility, I really like Inkjet for it. Helps you out if you get cornered under a ledge, applies long range pressure with some visibility that Dapples usually struggle with, and you can roll out of your landing. Kind of perfect for it.

since inkbrush is fast and can get in I think splashdown would be so cool because inkbrush is already built to be in your face also burst bomb might be good. another kit I thought of is painbrush with big bubbler cuz big bubbler isn't on too many weapons and I feel like it's sorta like splat roller it's hard to get in the bubble with painbrush's wide range and two-shot and to help with setting up big bubbler along with combo potential fizzy bomb.

I just love everything about the new octobrush kit (I main this wep). Autobomb from the S2 kit was nearly perfect but Stamp from the Kensa kit would also be very fun but probably not as good as Kraken since Stamp sucks but both kits would be amazing. I also like the design of the weapon in the video

At first I really wanted Dualie Squelchers with Torpedo and KillerWail but now that Douser has Wail now I want it with Torpedo and Tacticooler or Inkstorm I really liked that in 2

I do really hope we get more kits, now more than ever as we closer to the final season, you cooked with these tho. If I had to make kits for my 3 most played weapons I’d do: Clash: Torp + Wail Reeflux: Burst + Crab Machine: Splat + Kracken

Honestly the wiper kit you showed in the cooler video has been my dream kit for a while. I love splat bomb for it but I think cooler could be more interesting than rain. I do have to agree tho the rain combos could be fun.

Ive been saying since launch that dynamo with line marker would go hard. Also give it booyah back please that was fun. I will also accept crab.

I have to say that octobrush with kraken and auto bomb was on my options of dream brush kits, i would love to sneak up on someone with ninja squid and using a surprise kraken, not only that but the movement and positioning options are endless

A kit I really really want is Burst bomb and Wail for Range Blaster. It can be a throwback to the original Grim Range in Splatoon 1 while also being a very good kit with all the chip damage that can combo with an indirect. Burst bomb will also give it more movement which Range needs since most the maps in Splatoon 3 are really open.

I wish there was a third Aerospray weapon with torpedo as its sub and trizooka as its special. Torpedo would help Aerospray out in the damage department, which is one of its main weaknesses, and trizooka has long range which Aerospray also lacks.

As a tri-stringer main, I really want inkstorm, (helps with the chip damage more than killer wail and also can damage inkjet) and a bomb. Preferably burst bomb to help with rush down attacks but any bomb would do.

I really like all of these kits. Some of the components actually align with some I’ve been putting in my mod. Though, I’m curious, what would you think of Range with Zip?

I'm a massive fan of the nautilus and have lots of fun maining it!! I'd like a kit that has a sub thats lower on ink cost so either autobomb or burst bomb! Then a special thats more dynamic and aggressive than the two it has now so maybe zipcaster, kraken, or crab tank! I dont hate the kits it has now or anything, and even if it got one of these hypothetical dream kits id still swap around based on gamemode or map!

As a stringer player all I want out of this series is for us to get a good kit, sprinkler and toxic mist have been the bane of my existence since I started seriously playing the weapon and as an add on to the kit mentioned in the video whenever I previously talked about it with some other people Autobomb/Torpedo & Triple Inkstrike have been the kit that I see commonly brought up though Splashwall and Crab sound like a dream ngl

Ok as a sploosh enjoyer burst and kraken would be a really funny kit for it with a poking tool to combat it’s short range and kraken essentially being a better ultra stamp

My dream kits for my mains the nzap and splat dualies is burst and inkjet for both. Most just because I love inkjet and its shown to work very good on dualies, and burst is also just an insane combo for dualies as well. And I think nzap could work with it too, though maybe fizzy or splat bomb over burst would work better so idk

A useful kit on a stringer would be amazing. I love the stringer, but damn it, it needs either a bomb or crab tank or both

My copium Nautilus kit: Sub would be mine to block of choke points which naut loves to pop out and spray down plus it would be a great safeguard for the special: ZIPCASTER would be absolutely phenomenal with the slayer type play style of nautilus and no other splitting has this also it would encourage the weapon to be a little more out there and get kills on backline weapons which could previously hunt it down

Tbh I don’t like Ink wall for Bow. It’s a backline on the more mobile side, similar to Squelcher. Instead, I’d like to see something that can assist you at getting that last bit of damage that Bow often lacks. Something like dart (or possibly even torpedo) would (in my opinion) benefit you more as a bow. I can see how Splash Wall can help it challenge chargers, but that’s not really the main thing bow struggles with. Of course, I’m not a competitive player, but from my experience, that is the conclusion I have come to. (If we get third kits and it does have Splashwall, I’m not gonna complain either)

I’m a stringer main and my dream kit would be torpedo and screen being as torpedo gives away enemies locations which would to find people through a screen + they both combo with stringer!

For my dream kits for slosher and splattershot nova, I would like Torpedo and Super Chump at 200 pfs for slosher and Burst bomb/Torpedo and Crab Tank at 210 pfs for Splattershot Nova. I think they would be really fun and could do well competitive

It's not necessary as Carbon already has its deco kit, but I really want a carbon with Curling Bomb and either Booyah Bomb (for the bomb) or Wave Breaker (for tracking + ink refill) I miss seeker on Carbon from splat 1, and bomb rush allowing for an instant refill was also a lot of fun.

Please make a fizzy bomb and kraken mention for splatana stamper. Nstamper was a let down but it was ok, and fizzy as a solid movement tool, and kraken for getting out of sticky situations or aggression. At least give it a mention!

I like the tetra kit. On top of what was mentioned, as seen with dousers, popping the special would give tetra the auto launcher tech back, so I’m down for it. Also, easier tracking, so…

What mod are you using that lets you put custom kits into the game?

Honestly, I would love to see the Sploosh 7 get splat bomb trizooka since it would be a reference to its Splatoon 1 kit or maybe even Splat Bomb and Kraken Royale since the Neo Sploosh had the Kraken in Splatoon 1

As an Octobrush main, Autobomb/Kraken sounds like a dream come true (even if I’m very bad at Kraken). My issue with the Nouveau kit is that I find it very difficult to defend myself since well… beakons are beakons (the rain buff is nice though) whereas the vanilla kit is kinda hungry with suction bomb. An autobomb/Kraken kit sounds like a perfect balance and I’m doing all I can to manifest that

Idk how to feel about the Tri-Stringer kit. It counters itself, especially if you use object shredder. (Also Reef Lux's 2nd kit has wall.) I would expect a torp/chicken, though I wouldn't argue with a beacon, goo tuber, hydra splatling, and custom e-liter all non withstanding.

As a dapple main I SAY HECK YES TO THE DAPPLE KIT! I need that in that game
