@@joshwalkerfunnylife1666 there is SO MUCH! start with just driving around and checking out the scenery, the shop, and bars... then find a place to park and walk. Breakfast at either the Mud Cafe or Local Flavor and dinner at the Grotto or the Rogue. Nelsons is a great shop... and there are many more. YOu will find your way, there is too much to tell. But maybe these tips will help you... Let me know how you like it! OH and I forgot about all the antique-y type shops! those are fun! The best part of Eureka is EXPLORING and that never gets old no matter how many times you have been there. My dad took the family there starting in the 50s when I was just a baby and we have loved it - my children and I - ever sense. Enjoy!

I’ve been going to Eureka Springs several times a year for over a decade. I’ve camped at Lake Leatherwood and stayed at The Basin Hotel as well as many cute cottages both downtown and just outside of town. I love the downtown area with all the shops. My favorite event has been the St Pats parade.

FYI to all visitors: Cosmic Cavern is not at Eureka Springs. It is North of Berryville, the next town to the East. I do recommend checking out the cave for an experience you will never forget. Also, War Eagle Cavern is no where near Eureka Springs. It is several miles away. I've never been to it, just past it. Beaver lake is not at Eureka Springs, either. But, you can get to War Eagle from there. These are all great places to visit. Happy venturing in North West Arkansas.

Everything does shut down for about 4 months every year (the exception is the Crescent hotel Christmas affair which requires buying tickets a few months in advance); it is a Tourist town that I used to live in, but it does start everything up again by April... the weather can affect areas as the roads are steep & many houses are built into the cliff rocks. If you have driven there you will understand why things shut down during Winter

Well that person must be blind, because there are 4 liquor stores in Eureka, 12 bars downtown, and most of the restaurants serve drinks, and a lot of the hotels have their own bar/lounge in the building. So that person must have not been looking very hard for a drink! So folks, you can get as drunk as you want in Eureka Springs.
