The Odd Couple is one of my favorites: ) I like that you included My Cousin Vinney and Bringing Up Baby. The 1930s actually produced some good comedies.

I'm glad Dr. Strangelove and Animal House were at the top of the list. I think "It's a mad, mad, mad world" should be higher, also "Some like it hot", and a few I would have added Operation Petticoat with Tony Curtis and Cary Grant, and The Russian's are coming. They should show the funniest scene from "The Producer's, which is the song "Spingtime for HItler".

The top 25 on here are pretty accurate. There are about 30 that shouldn't have made the list at all.

You left out : Where's Pappa, The Owl and the PussyCat, What's Up Doc, Harold and Maude and The Nutty Professor ( w/ Eddie Murphy ) .

I would include What's Up, Doc? (1972)

Flirting with Disaster. After Hours. Harold and Maude.

My only criticism: the volumes are radically different

If you are saying funniest movies, nothing comes close to Borat. It is the riskiest, funniest and most creative comedy movie and on top of that it is without a hint of corniness, unlike 99% of comedies

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Heaven Can Wait(1978) & Bull Durham should've been on this list. Take Raising Arizona off.

The Meaning of Life and Paper Moon are also great comedies.

Hmmmm, not bad, a few movies you missed: Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Hot Shots!, The Nutty Professor (1995), Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Movie, Bullets Over Broadway, Mrs. Doubtfire. Personally, I think Airplane should be #1.

I am shocked that "Pink Panther Strikes Again" did not make the this list. Also "A Shot in the Dark".

Definitely can’t go wrong with this list at all, Shrek, Elf, South Park, Team America, Step Brothers, Caddyshack, Airplane definitely deserve to be on this list, sadly no Happy Gilmore tho but that is one my favorites as well.

I'm biase because my father the late Harvey Korman/Gene Wilder,M.Kahn,Mel Brooks were the hearts and soul of the movie along with Cleavon Little .I Will say this its hard to find another movie with greater ensemble of talent brought together.

P.S Ferris Bueller is a good movie, but how can you possibly say it was Objectively a funnier movie than Dumb and Dumber? Groundhog Day also, its not remotely funny?

Not a bad list, but a few of these technically aren’t really comedies, even if they have some laughs. And no spot for RUTHLESS PEOPLE? That’s just criminal, sorry. (Also, too, HOLY GRAIL should be #1 on this type of list, always.)

I've seen a big percentage of these and 'the wrong guy' is definitely a lot funnier then a lot of movies on this list and it isn't even mentioned this list shouldn't be called 100 funniest movies it should be called 100 well known comedy movies its just a list of well known comedy movies rather then the funniest tons of less well known comedy movies didnt make this list not because they are less funny but just less well known.

I say many of these movies are good, some great. But 99 of them are far from top 100 for me :) I can tell you haven't watched much movies when you picked some of these godawful crapshoots. Edit: Oh I also saw you listed King of Comedy...are you serious, have you watched that movie? It's a drama. There's no comedy in it at all, it's a serious movie semi-based on real events about a stalker obsessed with a talk show host. I swear you listed it because the title is confusing :)
