Huh, indeed a very personal list. Bathory and Arckanum so far back? But to be honest, I would have a hard time to agree on a top 100 myself. Good to see some underground included as well.

This is a very good list. I'm glad to see Tsjuder and Carpathian Forest and Nokturnal Mortum i really liked the more obscure bands, a couple i need to check out. if i can suggest one for the list, Slavia. One of my favorites.

Stuck to all the well known names, nothing that I'd call obscure here, I didn't learn of any new bands. But that's OK this was still a much better list than 99% of the ones you'll come across. For me it was missing a lot of Finnish and German and Polish bands but in any case this has inspired me to go make my own top 100 back metal bands list. 100 is really not enough slots though.
