That entire world, all of its unique rules, all of its characters, all of its history before that 5 seconds snapshot, all of them just fills your mind naturally and you can connect the dots. You don't need to put all these ideas and feelings into words. They just suddenly exist in your brain as a whole after watching for 5 seconds. You can write a whole book for each of these worlds if you really want. That is just magical.

@@jerry-hj2mj and watched many more than twice! I have been out of the 3D loop since a decade+, so finding the details of these mindblowing. Crowds and all in some, incredible detail and animations from the very background all the way to the front, intricate physics sims, etc.

I didnt notice at first but a friend pointed it out 7:49. At first glance its a boy being playful and balancing a ball on his head while climbing stairs however he has his hands raised and a bomb is strapped to his back walking towards the soldiers 😢. Its so deep

That does look a bit haunting. I see it in 2 ways: 1. It's death approaching to bring the end of suffering for the person who had a car accident. 2. we see the firefighters or ambulance arriving and the grim reaper approaching. So it's the race between life and death to see who can reach them first and death seems almost merciful because he could have hurried when he saw the ambulance but he is still walking calmly and patiently.

That is one long staircase

7:27 this one for some reason is one of the most realistic ones. This 3D walk is very slow and almost heavy. So when some of them are in battle and they are walking so slow it doesn’t quite look right. But this one, she is so weighed down by the weight of her child’s death that her walk matched her mood.

Just... amazing, the deph of emotions each scene can bring. Feverkin's soundtrack in the back with all of those images, it's just... perfect. My mind kept drifting ever so quickly on each scene trying to figure out what the artist felt, and how would it be like to be in the world they've created. Awesome work, pwnisher and team.

5:37 I'm so glad that my render made it into the Top 100 montage :) my concept of the Roman dodecahedron emerged from the mystery surrounding its actual usage. Continuously refining my ideas, conclusively, I aimed to portray it as a power of creative inspiration that aiding us in overcoming obstacles and continuing ascent metaphorically, and I expressed it through Hellenistic Geometry. I enjoyed refining my ideas during the challenge and look forward to another enjoyable experience next time. Congratulations to all participating artists!

@@egormykhailov7639 I used the collapsed statue models and background roman columns from quixel megascan assets, and I purchased the scholar character model from cgtrader. However, the scholar character model was not rigged, so I had to rig it myself and also made modifications to the model and texture maps for storytelling purposes. and yes, everything else was created by myself from scratch. :)

The sad part is that I had to actually double check sometimes, because the artstyle is so similar to the ones AI uses. It must be really sad to have your work used as some sort of “food” for a computer and then get it known as “generic, AI style”.

I kept thinking it couldn't get better! There was such a sense of weariness in some of those figures, amazing what you can convey with such little time!

5:58 (Daria Darush) This one is giving 'The Little Prince' vibes, just because of that, it became one of my favorites.

Not only is it a challenge to create the whole thing, but it is also a challenge to convey a story in that creation in only 5 seconds. 7:47 made my stomach drop once I realized the story it was telling, and, amazingly, you can tell something so impactful in such a short moment. These are like the video equivalent of a Haiku, and I love them all.

I didn't realise first time through that he's holding the crown in his hand, and the disdainful look he gives it is a fantastic detail!

05:03 - it's sickly, fleshy, but stunning - I LOVE that something is alive in it, I love the detailing that makes this cluster look so vital 05:53 - so badass, the carcass of a slain centipede forms the stairs for her ascend, the broken wing implies it was a ruthless fight - I love it 07:07 - beyond our comprehension indeed - shapes unbound by physics

These are just amazing, it’s like looking though a Lens into other worlds, peoples lives, they are all walking up stairs but all experiencing such different lives and situations. It’s honestly beautiful.

I feel like this is the most creative one yet. The number of things people can do with the background is insane.

A beautiful compilation of beautiful renders with beautiful music. I hope these challenges keep coming for a long time, because at some point, I want to take part in it. My skills can't compete with most of those, but what I lack in raw Blender skills, I might make up with scenery and styling.

I loved the ones combining 2D and 3D, 2:02, 3:33 and 7:07 (maybe 2:31 as well). 5:38 is so esoteric, fantastic. Every frame from 7:28 is a work of art. Man, I love all of them!
