kimdao there is daiso shop in Australia i have been there
never heard of stainless steel soap and never thought about why my knives don't smell as much as my hands do after cooking. Did a bit of digging and it's a legit chemical reaction that removes odor. so cool!
Because I have received a lot of comments saying there is Daiso in Australia, I just want to say that I know. I never said Australia as a whole doesn't have a Daiso, but where I live specifically there isn't one :) Hope that clarifies things.

A few of my favourite Daiso items are: 1) figurine stands! They have clear figurine stands with a black base in different sizes that are just perfect for displaying smaller or medium sized figurines and preventing them from collecting dust. 2) Laundry hangers - great for hanging underwear and socks to dry indoor! 3) the "Muji" style stacking organisers, I use them for my vanity and makeup organisation because there isn't a Muji near me and they are a fraction of the price.

The compressed cotton masks = great! I've been using for 20 years with my own lotions, serums etc. This way, I can avoid ingredients I don't like 3D silicone mask = love it! I use this over my sheet masks everytime I when I dry my hair after I shower (with a dryer). Keeps my face nice and hydrated while using the dryer. Eyebrow pencil (mechanical type). OMG. The lead is super tiny/thin so you can draw on individual hairs. Colours are pretty good (not too red). Face wash nets = Love and Need. Vacuum bags. I used to use these for my clothes when traveling but packing cubes are better IMO (especially the compression ones) as the vacuum bags leave the clothes all wrinkled beyond hope. I do use one of these vac. Bags to store my dirty clothes when traveling. Foam making pump. They come empty and all you need is a small amount t of your own preferred soap/detergent/cleanser and water. One push and it comes out all foamy! No deed to buy foaming cleansers. Makeup brushes - not all, but some of them put the expensive brushes to shame.

Doan Phuong I don't live in the US so, I don't really know. If there is a Japanese store (where they sell food), they might have the mask, maybe even a Korean store? They are made of silicone, so it may be sold as silicone masks instead of 3D mask. Otherwise, eBay and Amazon.

This video made me want to go to Daiso to buy that steel soap. I was doubting its effectiveness until I watched your video. Thanks! Please share more about Japan! ☺️
I love the erasers at Daiso! I actually bought some there recently cause my mom wanted some. TBH they have so many cool random stuff there. Besides the erasers I've found they're great for storage boxes of various sizes. I got a bunch of small boxes there to corral things on my desk and stuff. It's also just interesting to see what different Daisos have. I've been to three different Daisos near me plus one in L.A. (which ironically is in Koreatown rather than Little Tokyo), and they all seem to have slightly different offerings. There's also a Marukai Living near me that sells a lot of Daiso brand items. The face masks are a good idea. Korean face masks are big in the U.S. now, but most places they're like $4 apiece at least. But at Daiso they're like $1.50. The only place I've found them cheaper was at a small Japanese home goods store in L.A., where I found them for 89 cents (and never used!). Now I just have to get around to using the one I recently bought!
My favorite item at Daiso Japan is the box cutters that sounds odd, but I work at a warehouse so... I use them and they sell cute big ones or small ones and i like that :) i love that store only thing since it’s in America items are actually $1.50 instead because of the shipping charge, but still cheaper then other places... for what they sell
Loved the video. I'm so glad we have Daiso here in Australia now. They're a definite go to for me for so many things.
Just love Daiso, my first visit was this past weekend in Seattle WA, I bought an ice bag, tea cup and travel bag but wanted to buy out the whole store, Lol! Thanks for the great ideas shared in this video! Great job!!!
I love chair socks!! I have them on my moveable coat hanger and it is a LIFESAVER, since our wooden floors get scratched super easily! My favorite Daiso item are their study note cards, which I use for my revision. (They started making them in bunny and panda shapes, which are super freaking cute.)

Ooo definitely kitchenware, so many timers, new plates and dishes, towels, stationary. So many designs and new ones every so often. And SCISSORS!
One thing I absolutely make sure to stock up from the Daiso is the sponge and make up brush cleaner. I usually get the one in the small white and pink bottle. It cleans my sponges and brushes so well that I had to buy some for my sister too. Definitely recommend it. Also the cute index stickers there are great! I just picked up 2 more packs.
I Love Daiso! Not sure if it's my favorite item, but the 100 yen origami paper and the plastic boxes that keep the paper are great ;)

I just came back from my first ever trip to Japan and I watched so many of your videos in advance, thank you so much for the great content! I bought the cleansing whip and the 3D face mask at Daiso and I'm using them as I'm typing this. Love these products, thanks for the tips! Can't wait to go back to Japan...
Compressed face masks are such a great idea! I love the idea of being able to use your own skin care products.

All of the items are AWESOME! Next year when I go I need to find the face masks things where you add your own stuff. Thanks for all the ideas!
True, I did enjoy shopping at 100 yen store on Okinawa. Dollar store in US are boring.
There is daiso in Melbourne isn't there? I've been to it.
I've bought 'exactly' those in São Paulo 🇧🇷 Last week I purchased Daiso's foam cleanser for 2 dollars, very gentle and practical. For family in Rio I brought 4 foam maker pumps lol

I live near a Daiso in Cali and it is a literal lifesaver. Even though everything is $1.50 instead of a dollar, everything there is higher quality than DollarTree and the 99cent store so I always prefer to shop there. I still have the Christmas decor I bought years ago from Daiso and everything still looks super cute and new! I’ve noticed that they’ve been slowly growing in popularity and opening up new stores all over Southern California, which is pretty awesome.
I love the small compressed towels. They are perfect for removing your makeup when you travel. Lately, my local Daiso has been out and I have been super bummed. I recommend stocking up if you see them. I’m definitely going to pick up the wash net on my next visit 😉👍

i think all of them are my favorites :) thank you for your information about daiso
I really love Daiso @ was a staff of the store too. I really enjoyed my 2 years of working in Daiso. " You name it, we have it". 😍😘
Kim!!! Thanks so much! Kisses from Mexico!
Kim love your videos i wanna more video about japan 💙💙💙💙💙
I'm in California so there are Daiso's all over, average price is $1.50 US. It's my go to place for anything storage related, makeup organizers, bins, makeup bags, shopping totes. I often buy household items, small dishes, chop sticks, pot holders. I like their arm warmers, and have my favorite pair to my grandpa when I found him cutting his socks into "gloves that didn't cover his hands." Great place for office supplies, small toys for children, and I never leave without Hi-chew. I used to buy dry mushrooms, but they stopped carrying them, they are difficult to find in my area.
glad i watched this vid!! I MUST BUY THAT STAINLESS STEEL SOAP!
We also have Daiso here in the Philippines and it's slightly more expensive than in Japan. I always like shopping in Daiso here and I'm excited to shop in Japan soon!
I love daiso ! And I like buying the little bottles to put shampoos and creams in when traveling ..and the glass jars for mixing body oils! Ammm and the office organizing stuff !
First of all...I Love Daiso! I finally bought the 3D rubber mask and I LOVE IT!!! Thanks for the suggestion!
