I laughed at shook my head. "What a joke," I thought. Dude spent 10 years crapping on the company, gets himself fired from another one, and now has nowhere else to turn but to go crawling back. It was embarrassing. And then he goes on and gets injured almost right away 😂

CM Punk's WWE return was definitely the most shocking, but for me, Edge's return at the 2020 Rumble was easily the most *emotional* return. I was most definitely an Edge (and by extension, Christian) mark growing up as a wrestling fan, and the moment his music hit, I was genuinely near the point of tears I was beyond happy.

I was still in the military and deployed in the Middle East when we were all huddled around the tv in our common room when the Hardy Boyz song hit, we all went apeshit! lol good times

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Edge's return in 2020 just hit different to everyone, including him. You can see it, you can feel it, the chills get to me EVERY time. And I was never that big and Edge fan but that return just... whew.

Only CM Punk's AEW return can rival the raw emotion of Edges RR return. Mostly because more time was allotted to Punks segment and he had more time to bask and the feeling sink in. Same it didn't work out over there but glad he's back home.

Wrestling is one of the best forms of escapism. I love how just a simple return of your favorite wrestlers can make grown men and women feel like kids again. You love to see it.

It's not easy to make big, grown men shriek and act like kids again but wrestling has made it a habit of doing it to its fans. The pure joy and excitement will always be the same regardless if the fan is 13 or 30 or heck, maybe even 60. It's good to see that on these moments, we were not alone in being kids again. We are never and we will never be alone, in these moments. Thank you @wrestling flashback for this!

The Hardy Boyz' return was seriously awesome because I lived 7 miles away from the Citrus Bowl and you could hear the pop from THERE. Not nearly as much as the sirens for the OPD motorcycle cops escorting Trips down to the ring, but still.

CM Punk at Survivor Series has the greatest wrestling return of all time.

Edge's return made me cry. It was so special

Alot of people might not really understand this, but its a little different depending how much a fan knows about the business. For example: when edge returned at rumble, most of the crowd was just happy that edge was back, but to few it was much more than that. Way more. When u get addicted to pop and heat, and u live for it for a living and put ur whole life into hitting the curtain....then one day ur told by doctors that ull never be able to do it again, fans miss the character. And then after years, u train and surgeries and recover and then get cleared to do it again, and getting to hit that curtain to a huge pop, it was pretty emotional for the ones that understand in a split second what it had to of taken for that moment to happen at that time, it was like oh my gah wow. Wow. Wow. Oh my gah, adam is getting to do this again.

Bray Wyatt should have been in this but this list was amazing. So many emotional, shocking, surprising(the list could go on) returns. I remember every single one of them. The reactions were priceless

I was right on the edge of the entrance ramp when Rock returned in 2011. They drew his entrance music starting up by what felt like 3 minutes. This was before the lights started to go out, the arena was nuts. As amazing the return was and the experience of being part of it, drawn out teases are the worst 🫢😂🎣

I love how before the titantron showed the CM Punk logo, people were like “who tf is this?” Then that lightning bolt showed up and the guitar riff hit and everyone lost it😂

I was there to watch Edge return and when I tell you the building was shaking OMG one of the best surprises I ever had the privilege to be a part of, my video is somewhere on my YT channel and man... not a single dry eye in the building.

Gone from WWE, but he was with AEW and just fired, so not really a shock that he showed up. The shocking thing is all the WWE fans that talked crap about him while in AEW were now jerking off to him. 😅

CM Punk was the most shocking by far. Most emotional was Edge for a plethora of reasons. Considering what had happened to Edge and for him to come back from, all of that was enough. Also, from my perspective, what i had personally went through at that time made it even more emotional. Another thing that people dont probably remember was that we lost The Black Mamba Kobe Bryant. So yeah, Edge returning helped a lil

Edge returning from retirement is more shocking than Punk who just became a free agent before his return.

The most emotional for me was Edge’s 2020 return but that Goddamn CM PUNK return was LEGENDARY It was 6 AM from where i live and i was soooooo disappointed he did not return and got up my bed to go to work Until suddenly i heard that Mic zit and i was running around like a child 😂❤

I cried all along the video this masterpiece of video reminds me why I love this ❤
