    ... so it's okay for Undertaker to do it because it works for his gimmick, but not Warrior? Hulk, I get, his gimmick is just generic good guy. But Warrior's whole thing is being some alien unstoppable powerhouse. Actually, y'know what, it worked for Hogan too, because he was basically a superhero. Plus in his usual match, before he starts no selling he gets ass kicked the entire time. I think you just don't like silly wrestling which is okay but you can't just desecrate men who made the business MATTER for 20 years.

    I give Lesnar credit for selling his no-selling, as it isn't really typical "no-selling". In those clips, excepting the silly kendo stick shots, he didn't ignore his opponent's moves. Instead he sold the impacts, and then made it look like he was putting in effort to keep standing or to keep his head in the game. He'd go to a knee, or stagger back, or have to shake it off, or at least do something.

    What pisses me off about the Steroid Golem Brock Lesnar being pushed to the moon is that Ken Shamrock was never even in the main event picture. He ended up getting let go because he didn't want to do an incest angle (WTF is it with Vince McMahon and incest?). It's bullshit. The only difference between them is that Lesnar is bigger. But WWE has a fuckton of big guys, that alone doesn't mean shit. I'll never understand why a steroid abuser who walked out so he could go suck at football got pushed like Godzilla while Shamrock lingered in the midcard.

    Most of these aren’t “no selling” it’s simply how the matches were booked. No selling is technically guys like Brody (who was an honourable mention) who wouldn’t sell off their own back even though they should have. Hogan for example was a brilliant seller, he could get sympathy when being beat down. He was 6’7 and around 300 pounds but could sell like Ricky Morton. The Hulk up was booked, it was part of his gimmick. And the crowd would go wild.

  • @smward87

    @smward87

    3 ай бұрын

    Remember: whenever a commentator says "steel" they actually mean aluminum. The "steel" chairs they use are not only made of aluminum, they actually would not function as usable chairs. All of the reinforcements and screws and the like that allow chairs to hold weight are removed. So if you tried to sit on one it would just collapse if you weighed even half as much as the average wrestler does. The guitars and tables are also made of cheap materials designed to break as easily (and dramatically) as possible.

    In my opinion he's the weakesti mean he sells in a perfect way but also he's the most successful wrestler in Samoan the electrifying man in sports and entertainment, Brahma bull the Great one the people champ and he's rival with Stone Cold in Microphone he's run in Attitude era is Great

    He's the most successful followed by Reigns nd I find it ironic that neither of them touched a full on Samoan stereotypical gimmick. Coincidence? Hmm I think they might of realized the box it would put them in. Yoko nd Rikishi were so close in their Samoan escape but then got stranded in Sumocity lol

    @EtherTitan yes they did. Riman was a full island gimmick as LeeKee in early NXT. And the Rock as 'blue chipper' Rocky Maivia was 100% doing the Samoan thing.

    Lesnar is a great seller. Look up his match with CM Punk and his matches with Undertaker. Also Hogan sold most of the matches p being hurt and he only no sold when it was appropriate at the end of the match for his big comeback. You might wanna correct your caption to say “sells” and not “sellers” Guys like Lesnar and Hulk know the business way better than you or any of us. Anything they did in a wrestling ring meant something. Something guys like the Young Bucks and Pentagon have no clue how to do. Add THEM to worst Sellers!

    When Kane was indestructible for his first 8 months, it was awesome. Then once he lost to Austin the night after KOTR, that was it. Went from withstanding chairs, metal tools, tombstones, fire......to losing to a low blow rollup and then eventually to an x-factor. 💀
