Cliches-

#10 - Anime are also like that too #9 - During Mission gameplay, the timer use a local counter. Which mean if you lag yourself. The timer will also freeze as well, but this obviously won’t slow down the timer. The real timer is still counting within Client Timer which is displayed at the end of the mission. But if the game use Local timer during gameplay. You would probably see timer jumping forth and back. Developer can use Client counter anyway. #8 - Agreeable, sadly it’s ignored by most players. Takes up it time for others to notice. #7 - I actually thought of this actually exist. It does exist, possibly framework checking is just pretty delayed or just roblox server. #6 - Not sure why went wrong with it, Possibly rushed development #5 - It’s also what happened to most challenges video. Hitman game actually took point in this. But with similar RNGs set people might as well as grind it hell out it with almost same RNG, methods to complete the mission. Or like GTA:Online’s Casino Heist for example. With same Guard’s location on each preset approach but only thing affects RNGs is the Target Take but this doesn’t affect much. It depend how good you’re hacking and your teamwork. #4 - My solution is to add add invisible collision to block them from coming in or spotting you. But this could be abused and people would complain the unrealistic game mechanics instead of improving gameplay experience. For now, you can tell how much HP you have by the saturation of your screen (Grayer = Lower) #3 - Everything else except “This dude with cringy glasses and minigun” #2 - I know most of aspect of this game isn’t really bad it just there are alot of missing little details such as this. Even for a Roll Credits but i agree. #1 - yes.

If I was given the job to make a tutorial for Entry Point, I'd have it similarly done but, make Wren teach you the mechanics instead. This will blend in well with the story rather than unrealistic walls of text. E.g. when the freelancer is to disable a camera, Wren would talk through the radio to inform you. W: "listen, you can't force that door open with digital eyes on you, take it out.", "Impressive, but you've just attracted attention" etc etc. Or this may be a case of "protagonist is a professional".

The protagonist is a professional, but the walls of text and such still kinda suck. The only thing I can think of is having the objectives menu step you through it or have the Freelancer talk to themself

The 10th one makes sense to me, Wren was a sadist which is why he was rubbing salt in the freelancers wounds before he was to execute him, if he kills them straight away then Jackdaw would still take him out (and it would be game over obv)

Absolutely agree with #10. You can barely ever find a server with only people over the age of 10 playing it. Being a Roblox game also means that it can't have things such as voice chat, realistic player damage effects, and actual dialogue.

It would be a disaster not having a player count because Adopt Me is preventing other people playing OTHER games, keep in mind theres other games and other people who wants to play games that isn't Adopt Me. Not only Adopt Me but some other games too. (You would understand this if you experienced the annoying and frustrating feeling when you just wanted to play a game but suddenly Adopt Me just got like 500k people playing which leads to you not being able to even play, and actually I agree that Adopt Me is overrated. )

Ah yes, RNG It's what causes the manager to patrol the room where we currently are teabagging the guard. It's what causes the guards to walk through the precision drilling door as soon as we are about to leave. It's what causes Nightshade and Hemlock to never get isolated properly. *And we suck it up because it's realistic-ish*

RNG is what makes the game interesting

I played the tutorial yesterday just for fun, and I saw that they actually changed it. Now, a guard comes when you disable the camera and you take clothes from him, for instance. You will also lock pick the door.

2:15 this happens EVERY time in the scientist when I'm trying to go through he basement door and close it at the same time. it just wont let me in.

#1 happens too often. I love Roblox myself, but my friends call me childish for it. I don't love it because of Brookhaven or Pet Sim X or whatever, I love it for games like Project Flight, PTFS, Entry Point and so on. I like the more complex games. People have to realise, that while Roblox is marketed towards children, it certainly is not just a kids game.

For number 4, I think temporarily deleting all the enemies during the cutscene and then bringing them back after it ends would work, if not then give the player god mode during the cutscene

No the players are gods now also u can unequip ur gun and enemies will target rose due to the threat meter making a raven higher threat than most guns

They improved the tutorial and I am so happy about the changes it actually shows you the basic stealth skills like camera luring and the disguise isn't just on a bench which never happens in the game it actually makes you knock out a guard

It still won’t be enough for deposit due to some of the instructions not being clear enough, it does not tell u that u have to disable a transformer at the start nor does it say anything about searching ALL the archives for sensors, detection in tutorial is underwhelming compared to detection in missions but it atleast teaches the very basic skills about ep

Agreed. The tutorial is great now. They fixed pretty much everything. The only thing they still need to do is add a suspicion meter for the camera when you first enter the building. Because you can still stand right in front of the camera and disable it even though it should detect you if you stand right in front of it

suggest that you should play notoriety or whatever its called. its not the same as entry point but i think you should try it out, because the fact is that when i watched ur 3k qna video i decided to comment here because if i were to comment in that video i would be abit late.

The Onyx Unit is basically the Bulldozer from Payday 2 but with A LOT LESS ARMOUR

They should create 3 (other two coming out of the 2 blast doors on the left and right from the blast door that is required for the player to pass, this makes black dusk onyx less underwhelming and more impossible

The stealth part of the tutorial is finally better. It tells you about the briefing menu and more about how to play the game.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the game's biggest plot device "Project Onyx" was a super-soldier like the "Winter Soldiers" in the MCU. Knowing Rivera/Horizon was a computer scientist working on it, I thought it would be a new type of technology or a unique weapon.Even the Director feared what was in the Onyx files, not to mention he was afraid of his client in Black Dawn knowing that his instructions were disobeyed. (For those of you unaware, they told them NOT to steal the data but to destroy it with the lab but I suppose curiosity killed the cat or the Director in this case)

Hey Unofficial, I want to tell you that the tutorial has been updated and is no longer pointless, They teach you that camera's lures guards, And teach you how to use lockpicks. (Also the detection bar is now no longer invisible) Edit: During the rose cutscene on loud, You can't die from steel cove. (I think cish watches ur videos)

All of these things are annoying, but another bug that I find particularly annoying is that in the Blacksite, when arriving at the 3rd or so area (with the cell blocks), a guard will magically spawn all the way back in the first area and if you don't hide the bodies in the control room or somewhere else hidden, he will see them and raise the alarm, which is out of your control.

Thats why you ALWAYS hide bodies.

Something I did notice in the game, is that no matter when which ever mission you play, every computer is a windows 10 (minus the computers in the opening cut scene)

Well, the devs fixed the tutorial for it to like the game more (You need to knock a police out in the new tutorial to get the disguise, if someone detect you, you will need to re-do the part) Also when you are looking at the Rose cutscene in the blacksite, enemies won't attack you now

5 of the worst things in my opinion in ep: 1. getting a noob teamate 2.getting a player in your squad for the oppisite tactic of the mission 3. gtlitches how people can detect you when they dont spot you or they see anything suspicous 4.getting rick rolled from the game on purpose 5. the tutorial for its many sins

(About #7) in the withdrawl the glitch prevention applies to the money doors in the vault and can be really frustrating because sometimes it doesn’t go away for minutes on end.

One more thing I'd like to add, sometimes eye contact gets you detected less irl, I mean if someone walked through a room facing a wall would look suspicious, wouldn't he? Also when you pick up a gray bag, it's considered conspicuous but when you pick up a bag that has a body in it, it's suspicious

The reason NPCs notice you faster when you look at them is because they'll notice you're not one of the people working there; by looking away they can't tell who you are. As for body bags, they're conspicuous like gray bags, but in certain disguises wearing a bag makes you suspicious, like the Janitor or Military Buyer.

I think Project Onyx is, yes, the bald guy, but I think he's a human who has been bioengineered to withstand multiple hits, because explosions to normal damage to him, so either he's a robot or a superhuman. and the fact that he has 'Unit' in the name, supports the fact, so yes, he is technically a weapon, unfortunately not a chemical. Plus, they had files on 'Project Onyx' so this further supports the point that he's a robot or superhuman.

Thank god they finally fixed the cutscene thing and the tutorial now is finally like normal gameplay I mean that the cam actually lures a guard and you get the disguise there but sadly the sus bar stil is invisible...

I remember me and my friends finishing the final mission so clearly: Player 1: That's the Onyx Unit? Really?! Player 4: We've been fooled... Player 2: That was just a dude with a mini gun! Me with my Heavy impression: *AHAHAHA! I AM BULLET PROOOOOOF!* We all then started laughing our asses off. I know it was short, but I'm still happy I was able to turn a downer into a meme fest. Entry Point has brought me and my friends a whole lot of joy, and honestly I'm really happy that Cish has made such an experience.

2:00 that also happens to the Black Dusk workshop when using thermite to enter it in loud and it's pretty annoying

Unof that thing about the Onyx unit... That might not be it. The project Onyx files are still in the bunker... and they are sill working. The first part that we see is the onyx unit, but that might not be it. Maybe the Onyx unit is the first Halcyon prototype based on project onyx, but there still is more to come. Also quick side note here, project onyx doesn't come from the bunker we're exploding, yet he comes from the elevator... Where does he come from?

I don't know if this is true or not, I bet someone already knew this. At #4 (3:53) I once did this and when the cutscene played, I accidentally entered the inventory, so I would press F and return to the cutscene again. But the health bar and the GUIs showed up. I think this is a way to use the medkit at a good time, can someone check it for me?

When my friend joins me and starts a mission he starts to rapidly teleport to the begging of the mission but the game keeps teleporting him

It’s probably better that some people turn away from EP because if Roblox, since we can easily identify who truly believes in EP and without as much of a toxic environment as some of the bigger games out there.

Not gonna lie, I can agree with the last point about how some people just quit EP before beating a mission. When I was younger, I did play EP, however I lost interest because 1. I had no friends 2. The missions were a tad too complicated for me It drove me away from experiencing the EP storyline and gameplay and I’ve only picked it back up again recently.

I strongly agree with you on the part that roblox is well, one of the main issues, and even roblox should had listen to the community and do what they had promise, and example of this, the logo of roblox got changed to a grey one because it represents that EVERY age can play it, but it even censors numbers! And I think one of the main reasons of TP failing is the fact of the game of "Adopt me" because, the game have so many kids playing, that other games of the platform can't run very well.

I agree with the out of bounds teleporting sucks. I was doing a legend Ironman stealth and couldn’t finish on the withdraw with this

I just started playing EP. Only 1.5K active, it really deserves more attention.

I was the person who quit ep and returned bc for me the deposit was very hard. I used to stand in places where the npcs would stand and I just keep failing and returned 5 months later and now I would say it's gotten easy with hours of practice:)

Also, for the teleporting glitch, when you're trying to get behind cover and you don't have much stamina left, and then in glitches you back and you die :|

You’re right about the whole Roblox itself section. My friends all make fun of me for playing Roblox, and say things like “I’m not downloading it on my computer just to try it”

I agree with you, i think the tutorial don't prepare the player. And Wren is really a "Cliche Villain" for not killing the Freelancer when he could have done it. But even with those very bad things, Entry Point is really such a great game and have awsome details, mechanics, secrets, gameplay, and missions!

For some reason the timer starts at five to four seconds for me and is always five to four seconds in front😅 Edit: also many of these terrible things like timer and rng are very much linked to the lake house, I wonder why, could it perhaps be the 9 MINUTE TIMER?

the point of disabling the camera in the tutorial is to spawn or yknow lure a guard and it shows that leaving bodies out is risky by having a guard find it and letting you kill them to learn how answering the radio works everything else about this video is good but the tutorial deserves more credit than that even if its not the best

Another misspelled codename is Artic Fox (arctic fox). It drives me crazy cuz soooo many people pick Artic Fox. I've started calling them Artic Phone instead

Honestly, when i started, i didn't know how to do anything because you don't have the materials and the mechanics of the Freelancer mission.

Update: april 25 2022 most of these things got fixed like tutorial, door teleport and blacksite cutsceene

I love onyx unit, not because hes just bald but, out of any type of SECRET WEAPON, Halcyon deployed the most “powerful” unit. This bald middle aged man who really doesn’t know what he’s doing with a mini-gun

Hey, I suggest another game which was I THINK was the dev’s inspiration to EP. It was HITMAN, and you should prob make guides for it because it’s really fun and sometimes hard. You should try it

In the Freefall Softworks Update Log it indeed does say that EP is inspired by Hitman. I am a Hitman/Hitman 2 veteran myself and I can say that both games are very similar. I'd love to see Unof play it!

You don’t need one, it’s easy, go through the basement and interrogate the camera guard AFTER you take care of the other guards quietly, knock out camera guard after you interrogate them so you can grab their uniform, then the rest is simple.

Tbh, number 9 is actully true I have once had this time where i thought i would fail Stealth on The Lakehouse but it turns out my timer is late 2 minutes

i had an encounter with the tp glitch on the SCRS where WE LITERALLY COULDNT GET THROUGH IT KEPT PUSHING US BACK AND WE GOT CAUGHT AND DIED

the door reset thingy also happens on deposit on the basement secuirty thing for some reason on legend.

I was once doing a very promising ironman legend and managed to finish blacksite, and was supposed to teleport to financier, but roblox didn’t tp me and described the situation as “attempted teleport to a restricted place”... Restricted... hah.

If you have beard or mohawk(idk wich one it was) during "Dedication" half the screen will be blocked by your hair.

When i played entry point i saw the total of players it said that there were only 900 people playing ep.

NGL EP becoming a real game would be sick AF, Cish could really expand on the universe and make the mission spectrum so much bigger, maybe alternate timelines I'd assume what we went through is only one timeline, and new missions to reflect that would be released. (If Cish really does this, I hope he adds a secret class named agent that has all the perks, and is unlocked by playing the roblox game before it went into the real world) IDK just throwing ideas out

Ep timeline it doesn’t change as for example on financier Ryan alive or dead doesn’t matter as the hard drive is all he needs, scientist if Rivera dies it won’t matter as the servers there is all the data u need

if wren didn't say his 1 liner in dedication then entry point would've ended there

I know this video is old, but Project Onyx was to make ALL of Halycon/everyone in the bunker into an Onyx Unit. Imagine Black Dusk except everyone has a minigun and like 5x the amount of health.

Im fairly certain if you go in Rose cell WiTHOUT reloading when you walk in SC soldiers cant do damage to you

Remember that loud is not cannon so project onyx could be different.

The teleport glitch. I remembee the day ironman legend personal record and then withdrawal. The cash cage door had to had this bug and couldn't take the last bag ;-;

I was doing my first Ironman and I almost finished it on loud. I had to defeat the Onyx, but I didn’t read the dialogue so I thought the Onyx was going to help me. He killed me... -_-

Boi I think it’s quite obvious in ep that basically everything wants to kill u

I would love to see entry point as a big based game, not on roblox, but like gta or something, many consoles and not one a website

To be fair you cant really notice the typos and sometimes you think they might not be typos and intentionally said that way

Finding your teammates can be hell when the indicator is just a dot

the dot is gone on higher difficulties

the timer depends on how much u move and when u start to move i think

the rose cutscene reminds me of a calebcity skit

Let me write my ending idea, you defeat the minigun guy and go into the elevator, which goes down, the screen fades to black, but your character is like "wait it isn't supposed to go down...", and the screen snaps back to clear. Then, the elevator stops the door opens and boom the director of Halycon is in the real project whatever the name is * a cutscene plays hinting at how to defeat him and monologuing(. You defeat him and realize he is a body double. Then, another mission pops up where you have to assassinate the director Hitman game style and you play as the guy you're working for. BOOM best ending maybe
