I read the original scardey squirrel book and it was pretty decent, especially for it's intended audience of young children, the series on the other hand is just your average badly animated spongebob rip off.

Honestly although the season wasn't too bad, the point where the series started it's downfall was season 7. I stand by the fact that the first six seasons are fantastic. But filth like season 10 and 12 just stain the show so much. And I do belive that some seasons of modern family guy can be good, but I can recall only 2 off the top of my head.

I miss the old teen titans. who agree with me?

YOU KNOW WHAT? Long ago, I was at my biological dad's house with his friend and his friend's daughter. We were watching TV and a beautiful Pokemon anime trailer was showing. I stated that I loved Pokemon then my dad turned to his friend's daughter and asked if she loved Pokemon. She didn't respond, then my dad was like "this stuff is too young for you, isn't it?" Then my dad changed the channel to...Almost Naked Animals, as if it was better than the Pokemon anime...and they ENJOYED it. I don't wanna live on this planet anymore.

I've heard about the Bunk'd stereotypes before. I was actually unaware about most of them, the only stereotypes in Bunk'd I know about is the dumb blonde in the perfect white couple and the sassy black girl. I actually really like Almost N*ked Animals. I do get your criticisms with the animation and gross-out humor. But the characters are really likable and funny, especially Duck, and the humor is so crazy and wacky that it really makes the show fun and enjoyable. So when you asked if ANA was made for a demographic that doesn't exist, I guess that demographic was me.

Half of these shows are shows I grew up with, and I feel ashamed for even considering the fact that I liked these cartoons when I was younger.

People say TTG ruined Teen Titans and everything, but it's nothing compared to what modern Family Guy is doing to Family Guy.

"Star Vs. The Forces Of Evil" was indeed a great show, but it's a tragedy it ended badly with an episode titled "Cleaved" which has Star committing genocide to living creatures that have magic based on her mother's stubborn anti-monster bigotry. And it was also that she wanted to spend more time with Marco. She also broke up Marco's love affair with Jackie Lynn Thomas, so not everything she did was good or pure. At the end of the episode we have all of the monsters chasing all of the humans away because of Star's blunder. What kind of a finale is that, pray tell?

You know, when I was a little kid, I thought everything on TV had to be good and popular, so when I saw a cartoon I didn't like, I felt like there was something wrong with me and pretended I liked it because I thought I literally was not allowed to dislike it.

Well you certainly had higher standards than me. If it was a kid's show, i liked it. The only reason i didnt like a show was because i hadnt seen it yet.

Greetings. I am here with some news: My little sister is obsessed with teen titans go, and has showed me the appeal. It’s the bright flashing colors, the fart jokes, the songs, and the Tom-and-Jerry style violence “humor” that draws her in. and when I said obsessed, I MEAN obsessed. Whenever an episode turns on she repeats every single exact word the characters say, right when they are saying it. Help.

Ah yes, Sanjay and Craig. I liked the intro on that one. Very weird, but I see potential in it having a remake using the same characters. But in my opinion, they'd have to stray from the gross stuff and weird jokes entirely, and develop a story and something to fight or overcome.

It shocked me to see Scardey Squirrel. I read all the books this show is based off, and in the original books he was an excellent character. It must have took somebody REAL horrible to ruin such a great children's book.

Only thing I'll defend, Brian and Stewie is one of my favorite episodes of Family Guy. Understanding the emotional struggle of Brian in having the suicide option available at the ready is such a tearjerker. Sure, there's a bit of shock humor in the episode, but I think ultimately the character writing in it is strong enough to make up for it.

Which is greater? The amount of brain cells gained from this awesome review. Or the amount of brain cells lost from these god awful cartoons.

Don't worry Josh, I hate the new Family Guy seasons, too. I just don't care about any of the characters, they're just so one-dimensionally mean-spirited and whatever genuine pathos we get is completely sidelined for more derogatory non-satire. Despite the creator's resume, Fish Hooks was actually fairly well-liked for its run (the theme song is a guilty pleasure for me). Teen Titans Go! isn't necessarily that popular, it's more along the lines of "it's on SO OFTEN that it's holding Cartoon Network hostage". Think about it: Teen Titans Go! is getting a *wide release feature film* while Steven Universe doesn't even have a regular fucking release schedule. And Rebecca Sugar at least has respect for the intelligence of children.

"Almost Naked Animals" is another in the long line of endless gross-out cartoons inspired by John K. . He didn't create it, but his artwork (and juvenile behavior) inspired many cartoonists since 1991.

Was quite glad to see that, despite Pig Goat Banana Cricket showing up in the intro, it was nowhere on the list. I thought it looked horrible on first impression, but after watching a few episodes, it's actually pretty good. It's clever to see how four different plots all converge each episode. There's eye-popping design work. And best of all, the main characters _actually like each other,_ and despite having flaws, they aren't irredeemable jerks. The show is... bizarrely nice sometimes.

Teen Titans go is nowhere near as good as OG cartoon, but I have started seeing episodes while babysitting. It's fine in this manner and has enough references I enjoy.
