I usually understand Fantano's logic when explaining why he doesn't like albums, but I still don't understand why Lil Dicky expressing that he wants the chance to be taken seriously automatically makes him trash. I don't think the album was that good by any means, but at the same time I don't think it deserves the intense hate that its gotten. I'd say he's good at what he does with the comedy raps, and his proven technical ability earns him a chance to make serious tracks if he wants to.

It made me realize that all of those supposedly distinct genres of metal-hardcore fusion are really best understood as being just metalcore. I know people think of garbage bands when they hear that word, but it's also the right word to use

Yeah, i usually agree with where you're coming fork a lot with most your reviews, even negative reviews on albums I like, but i can't agree with the Dance Gavin Dance review. I've barely gotten into them, and I understand the first impression, it's a bit odd, but that's what makes it unique. And Jon Mess is one of the better screamers in the scene. Very underrated.

This is a really cool channel, the variety of the music is cool and it seems this guy is informed on a wide variety and has an open mind

Love the show. Just curious why you haven't done any Insane Clown Posse reviews. Having that they've been around for 20 plus years started their own fan movement. Released a double disc and two extended plays albums. Only hip hop artist that have their own music festival for 17 years straight. It seems that they're doing something correctly.

I really hated the Twitching Tongues record too.... However, after seeing them at Tokyo antiknock in 2016 I really caught on to it. The vocals are really powerful in the context of the live show where they are contrasted with the other more typical hardcore sound. I have had this experience a few times now though.... Although, in the past I have been really into a record then, after seeing the act live, lost interest with it. What do you think about this phenomena?

Didn't listen to a lot of terrible music this year, but my vote has to go to the new Coheed album. All of the band's former personality seems to have evaporated over the last few albums, and the new one was just a boring, bland, and awfully produced flop of a record. At this point, I have no faith in the band ever putting out another album that I'll enjoy.

Not quite related to worst albums, but I'm glad you bright up that Animals As Leaders and similar styles of rock/metal not being your thing. Reason being, it really solidifies for me that we don't quite share similar taste when it comes to rock/metal for the most part (except for Baroness, I'm digging them so far). I've followed several of your rock/metal suggestions and didn't really feel them, which puzzled me at first since I usually enjoy your suggestions. Anyway, thank you for all your videos! They're a pleasure to watch and are very informative

Hopsin is such a good rapper, it's really odd he comes out with some much trash. When he's good he's great but it seems like he can't put together a good streak of great songs.
