Oh my Gosh. I totally loved the first outfit! That pop of red with the cute purse was true fire! But Jus, I hardly can make these looks work where I live (Southern California) without looking a tiny bit pretentious. Ugh, it’s just the vibe here, people go the more casual vibe. FYI, I watch these fragrance/fashion even if it’s designer because I love your styling. But no pressure, I’ll always watch for niche.

My total favorite color on you right now. Love the wine-red. Even for myself as a guy, By the Fireplace may be my favorite sweet fragrance, but I can only imagine how much I would like it on a girl, but haven't come across that yet. It's just incredible in the air. Depends on the mood, but that, Jazz Club, and Herod are probably my favorite sweet, woody or gourmand-leaning fragrances.

By The Fireplace uses to smell very sweet on my skin, but now the smoky burning woodiness lasts much longer. That's why I spray it just on clothes now. The sweet marshmellow smores smell comes way quicker and lasts foreeever. Very cozy.

Yes, I see that someone already commented on Maison Margiela house 😊 I bought a warm trio from Margiela last year. There were three 10 ml perfumes of By the Fireplace, Jazz Club, and Whispers in the Library ( which reminds me of Byredo Bibliotheque). And yes, the Matcha Meditation + its older version Tea Escape are also wonderful tea fragrances, suitable for rainy weather. I think I forgot to mention under your Niche fall fragrances that Carner Barcelona Rima XI. is also fine for this weather - at least for me.

I have been procrastinating for a while but I have finally ordered LVEB L'extrait. It's that Iris and woodiness that gets me. I also have and LOVE Gris Charnel and By the Fireplace after your recommendations. Do you know why Delina and Oud satin mood would be giving me a headache? I loved Delina but it made me feel sick and get a headache.

Babycat isn’t sold in the USA. It it looks like it costs $500 so I would consider that niche, not designer. Sephora stopped selling spicebomb extreme but has all the other spicebombs, hope that doesn’t mean it’s being discontinued?

Where in the world is Babycat actually still being sold? I saw someone say it’s available in Canada. I haven’t seen this perfume consistently in stock… ever?? Even on your UK site it’s out of stock. I sort of wish the you tube fragrance community would let this one go unless and until YSL decides to start actually producing it again. This is nothing against your channel specifically, Josephine, but it’s sad listening to people repeatedly hype a discontinued or $500 fragrance. 😢

First world problems. Like Kim K’s sister would say “Kim, there's people that are dying.”. You’ll be ok and you will survive just fine if creators hype discontinued perfumes or perfumes you can’t afford.

As far as I know usually Josephine picks only the best with the most beautiful dry down, sometimes with the best longevity & projection also ( but these are not necessary ) from each line(s) from every brand.

I've been spraying Devotion on every day I leave the mall I work at bc to me it smells like a Pez candy and I want to eat it!!

Hi Josephine! My first impression of Babycat was that it was a slap of suede, an animalistic note I’m not used to. As it dried down it got better. Does it evolve in your skin as well? What should be expected of this scent? Thank you!

Woah! It does evolve yes. I wouldn’t give an expectation on the scent as we each have different experiences with scent. If that’s what you smell and you don’t like it, there are lots of other scents to choose from! That’s the beauty of perfume 😊

Hi Jus. I got Givenchy for my GF , i love it , but for her is to strong... and other her friends think the same . Problem is , that after 5 / 10 min its more smooth etc... my heart is broken 😂

The only issue with spice bomb is bvlgari man in black is similar and imo better. Maybe spicebomb works better on women than man in black would.
