Top 10 Ways you'll CRASH your Drone

Drone crashes SUCK so I dug through drone forums online to read people's crash stories. Here are the top 10 ways people crash their drones. Good news: they're all avoidable (if you listen to my tips for not crashing).
Here are the top 10 ways people crash their drones:
1. Don't do a Preflight Check.
2. Don't wait for a GPS lock, and don't know how to fly your drone without a GPS lock.
3. Watch the camera's video feed instead of the drone itself.
4. Fly out of sight.
5. Use automated flight modes, such as RTH (Return-to-Home), ActiveTrack, QuickShots, or automatic takeoff and landing.
6. Use Sport mode (since it stops obstacle avoidance and makes your drone faster).
7. Stretch your battery life to the limit. Don't wait until your drone battery is at 50% to turn home - drones start landing at 30% by default, and will force you to land at 15%.
8. Fly downwind in high winds. Stop, reverse path, make sure you can get back. Be aware that higher altitudes almost always have higher winds; sometimes much higher. Things like trees, hills, tall buildings, cliffs drastically change wind. Wind speeds are going to be higher over flat areas and water. If you can’t fight the wind, DON’T HIT RETURN TO HOME. Instead, immediately fly lower. If that doesn’t fix it, switch to sport mode (make sure you’ve enabled it in the settings).
9. Fly with a weak signal or interference Interference sources:
* Your phone or smartwatch
* Other people’s WiFi
* Cars (launching from a roof)
* Radar from boats
* Metal buildings and bridges
* Concrete buildings and bridges
* Earth, mountains, hills, trees
10. Freak out if something goes wrong.

If it only had a remote controller with Mavic Pro display, it would be perfect. It has actually saved my day several times.

Anyone knows how to fly a Mavic Air with dual remotes? My girlfriend wants to fly with me. I saw people did it with Mavic Pro and Phantom before.
Great video. I started watching your channel for the drone videos, but now I’m really interested in photography, all thanks to you guys. Thank you!

Hey,,why not a few 'Out takes" of his dorkdom.
Tony, yet again another fantastic drone instructional video! Thank you to you and Chelsea for all the great content! Thats why I am a long time subscriber!!!
Great information and advice, Tony!
Thanks tips Tony! I crashed because I panicked in sport mode, was my first time out trying this mode but didn't have enough space around me. Thankfully everything was fine!
Tony is very comprehensive and all these tips are very practical.
Good video great advice thanks
Thanks. Very helpful.
Flying my DJI Maverick Pro for over a year-and-a-half and I have crashed one time because a gust of wind but it was only 25ft of the ground and landed in a small Bush. All of your tips are spot-on I follow them tips every time I fly my drone. And I live in one of the most windiest States Cheyenne Wyoming. Keep up the good work Tony and tell Chelsea hi from Cheyenne Wyoming. And don't pick on her to much.
Great set of safety tips. I crashed my Spark quite a few times while “learning to drone”. The intelligent flight modes got me once. I used the selfie mode, but it didn’t start gaining altitude right away, and flew back into trees. Apparently there is a setting to tell the drone how far away from you to start climbing. That way it can climb away at a steeper angle.
New to drones; this was very helpful!
My crash: Home point too vague, in my parents' garden. Told the drone to return, and it was lowering towards a hedge. I forgot for a few seconds how to pause the automated landing, and the drone did some yard work on the hedge, if you catch my drift.
Thank you for this video!
My Inspire 1 crashed while it was on auto return home mode for the first time. All the while was controlled manually to landing. Its about 10 meter before reach ground the motor suddenly stop and crashed. Landing gear was dropped about 40 meters on the skies.
I found your channel via the Part 107 study guide and now I'm a big fan. I know you guys are into DJI, but consider reviewing the Autel Evo also. I've had a great experience with the Autel XSP, great build quality and super sturdy. Great information, and great channel!
Superb advice!
Very good and important video. Because drones cost much, you have to careful.
Excellent advice, Tony.
Very useful video.

this was very useful information.
I know you're a photographer but you have the soul of a true airmen. Salute!
I was flying my mavic pro for a real estate shoot. I showed up early to get some surrounding area shots as the house overlooked a lake. I was standing on a cliff and the drone was below the cliff and I was setting up a shot that was going to be the "Money Shot". I didn't like the first angle I was getting so I was backing up and didn't realize my perception was completely off and backed right up into some brush. My heart stopped as my client was going to meet me in just an hour. I new I had to at least try to retrieve my drone but I was on top of a cliff and my drone was at the bottom. I was so panicked but found a way around the cliff. Once I was at the bottom I found my next obstacle which was to bush wack my way over to my drone. Thankfully the drone was still on and giving me a gps location because I was no where close to its actual location. Once I got it, I had a half an hour to get to my clients listing and fortunately I only busted 1 prop. Test flew it and we were good to go. I don't think I have ever been so panicked/stressed in my life for many reasons! lesson learned!!!!
Great. Thanks.
Hey, great video! I had/have some gimbal motor errors and tried to fix them. After checking and recalibrating the drone I wanted to see if it worked. So I went out in the garden, set up the drone, waited for GPS, Homepoint, etc. and started the drone. It was just 3 ft (1m) up in the air when it started drifting apart right under our garden furniture. Well ... I paniced, threw my remote away because the drone was stuck under the chair. The sensors wanted to gain height and the chair blocked it. I intuitively grabbed it ... from the top right into the propellors. It hurt extremely but I didn't got it out so I tried it again, resulting getting pretty bat cuts in my fingers. So I had to leave it beneath the chair and had to tape my fingers first. As you said, if you panic you'll make it worse. I just had to "land" the drone and everything would have been fine. Well at least the drone just needs new propellors and all is good. My hand is ok, hurt a few days but I've learned my lesson. Keep calm, breath and don't do shit ;) Drones are fun but they are no toys and can hurt you or other people. So stay calm! Love your videos and greetings from germany! Maybe I'll see you both at Photokina in Cologne this year. Dirk PS: sorry for my bad english :/
I love your videos. Not just about drones, but also your other ones. BTW, ...you are getting so close to a million subscribers!
Hi Tony & Chelsea. I always follow pre flight checks before every flight, I have only crashed once when in Atti mode, I was looking at the drone, but it drifted into a tree and because it had no GPS lock when I tried to miss the tree it kept going before it started to turn away, but too late. Fortunately the drone only suffered a broken prop, but lesson learnt :-) I now always fly in GPS and trust in the tech these amazing machines process. I think the most important rule is to always fly above obstructions (Trees, Buildings, Power Lines and Elevations in Terrain) or at least be aware of the highest point during your flight so that you can make adjustments to the altitude on the aircraft. If there is nothing it can crash into, it CAN'T crash. You say you shouldn't trust the automated features on these machines. Well in my experience these features often fly the aircraft better and safer than most pilots are able, and make the business of capturing smooth video much safer than trying to fly manually while also looking at the cameras view point. The points you make are valid ones for new pilots, but experienced drone pilots are able to fly safely using all the features on these amazing machines. I would say the top ten causes of most drone crashes is inexperience or stupidity on behalf of the pilot. Thanks and Fly SAFE :-)
Good tips!!
Great video, thank you for the tips. When I first got my Phantom 3, (3 years ago), I was showing it to my 5 year old son in the backyard. I started at 10 feet, zipped it around and took pictures of us. He starts chanting higher, higher, higher and I fall into the “show off trap”. Yeaaaah. The Phantom starts to drift into high branches. Nooooooo. I’m disoriented which why is towards or away. I panic, hit the home button and it flys into tree branches. I see my week old drone plummet 40-50 feet like brick. We run to the neighbors backyard and retrieve the drone with a cracked gimbal, propellers and railing. As we do the walk of shame back home I hear “Dad why did you take it so high I was just kidding”. Mhmmmm hahaha.

How did you get the cracked gymbal fixed because I just had a similar situation where I crashed my drone into a tree not heeding the warnings here :(((
Good tips. Devin Graham posted a video about crashing his drone in Hawaii about 3 hours after you posted. He said he was proud to crash, and if you don't crash your drone you are not living. Interesting perspective, but that is what makes him Devin Graham. Also he can afford to crash. Personally, I prefer flying safe and not crashing.

I have no idea who Devin Graham is, and after reading what he said, I think I'll leave it that way.
I just got my Mavic Air and on the second flight someone called me and I let it hover while I went behind a building to take the call so I could hear. After the call I went back and could hear my drone but couldn't see it. Then it sounded like a weed whacker as it had been blown into a limb from a pine tree and it was chopping the needles. It chopped until it tilted and then shut down and fell about 40 ft. and landed on grass. I cleaned the green sap off and sent it up again and luckily everything was ok. This is my first drone and I'm still learning.
Awesome tips and good video, just wish I watched it before I crashed my drone. I was flying in a open field on around my 4th flight so I was feeling a little more confident to take her up and far for the first time. I think what happened was it got hit by some high wind (which was low at ground level) and I lost its orientation, I stayed cool at first but then got nervous after I could not determine which way I was going when another high wind hit and then that is when I think I panicked and hit the return home button, bad call, l lost control and drone went down! Luckily I found it easily in a group of trees by following it's flight path but when found it had a prop guard missing and one side of the landing gear was broken. Thanks to your tips I hope this will never happen. Thank you!
I flew around a Butte when I first got my drone... lost signal! Luckily I set a good home point and it flew back. My mavic did try to come straight back and the sensors stopped it from hitting the butte. It went around it and came back safely. I live in the Mojave desert so there were no other ppl out at the time.
Getting closer to 1 million subs, become a fan since your channel with 190K subs 👍
Great points
Is there a video describing your phantom's journey to the lighthouse ? Looks like a great adventure.
Crashed and lost my drone off coast of california. thought I was doing active track circling me. but I was doing helix mode and it went too far behind me and bamn, hit the cliffs above and gone, can't find it.
great info
One of the first times I flew my drone I was having such a good time with it I didn't realize the battery was at 15%, and boy did it come down fast! Luckily very nearby so I could retrieve it.
I have never had my drone come down at 30% .. sub 12% = autolanding and you can manually configure your low battery and critical battery levels . In my experience with DJi drone, just pay attention to telemetry and warnings about battery.. if it says it wants to return to home because of the battery, come back home. I agree about never taking off without a GPS lock and home point announcement/alert. This means it has atleast min number of sat connections to sustain an accurate flight trajectory and reliably return home is something goes wrong. If you are flying in the wind (reasonable amount) I suggest-flying into the wind initially and making your return pass going with the wind. This will save the drone a lot of time since won’t have to work nearly as hard coming back to safety. Do not fly down wind from take off, that will make the fight to get home safely so much harder specially in 20mph winds since it has to fight the wind on a weakened battery. I fly via my live view, but I have experiance, I do not suggest pushing your limitations with your first drone and while still learning. I crashed many times using live view only because I don’t see things directly behind my drone or to the side and have wondered into things. Get experience and build up to that point where you can fly live view only don’t crash your $800+ drone. I disagree with the sport mode argument here, yes it can be a twitch feast but it’s good way to learn control and boundaries. You learn for example how long it takes for your drone to air brake and how much distance it really needs to change directions. While yes being in P-GPS mode has a different flight characteristic it can still get up to 30MPH and that can still take 10 feet+ to air brake against specially if flying down wind.. learning sport mode help you visualize and be worry of distances. Do. It ever rely on obstacle avoidance it is terrible.. like autocorrect on your phone’s keyboard.. love hate situation. If your are going to be flying through a tight area where you need The avoidance system I suggest stay directly behind the drone and visually fly off screen. Because sometimes it will not see things because of glare or because of shadows.. it see about 85% of things but that still leaves a 15% range if times and things it will miss and you may hit. These 15% things include power lines, small twigs and leaves, clear glass.. you get the idea.. fine object and objects that are passive can trick it. Do not fly to boundaries of signal. I know we all do it, but if you don’t need to don’t risk it, it would suck if lost signal and the drone had another error and started heading wrong way back home. I’m Not saying range doesn’t matter.. it does, range usually means better signal quality in tougher situations close by like high interference areas or shielded by trees or buildings or something. But shouldn’t fly it miles away and push your limits. Intellegent flight mode. Use common sense. Like don’t use them in a forest.. active track is ok to use in the street but probably going to have issues using asteroid for example on the street as it may hit a tree or a house trying to get the shot.

Perfect except for the very last bit. Twisting the drone not only puts unnecessary strain on the motors, there is a risk where if you don't have a proper hold on it, you could send it right into whatever is next to you. Best is to grab it, and pressing the left stick down until the motors shut down. Also a nice tip regarding the GPS, always check if the arrow icon in Go4 matches with the drone's actual orientation. If not, the compass is not aligned properly (due to interference), causing the drone to compensate into the wrong direction, sending it off to oblivion. Pretty much 90% of fly-aways are due to that.
I must admit, the POI mode (Point Of Interest) ie flying in a predfined circle around a point is incredibly difficult to replicate the smoothness...but of course the obstacle avoidance is disabled.....

Hi. What happens if you fly over a hill and you hit RTH and you are there above rth set altitude and the ground level there is higher too? Will it crash?
I would really like to get a drone, but I kind of have other priorities for gear right now. 800 bucks isn't too bad, but I think that I need to focus more on a full frame camera for better portraits. A7III is looking very tempting, but I want to see how Sigma E mount lenses work on it for nailing focus with a shallow DOF. I hear the AF system will probably work better than on DSLR cameras with the third party lenses. Thanks for the video Tony. If I do get one eventually, I know where I can get some good advice for how to use it!
I crashed my drone about 40 feet up in a tree today. I did the exact thing you said, backing into a tree. I could see the drone, but I was so focused on the footage I was getting, that I took my eyes off the drone just long enough for a tree to grab it. I realize now that I need to have the line of sight AND the subject of the film footage, in the same general direction. Or that it would be best to have a Visual Observer for this very purpose. That was NOT the case today. Live and Learn!!
Tremendous advice..... Thanks for sharing. I'm new at this and my Dji Mavic Mini arrives next week....I'm going to watch this video over and over till it sinks into my cranium. In my 60's Now so "thing's" Take a little longer so to speak. Anyways. Thanks very much indeed.
SO you recommend prop guards? I am new to drones and have a 3DR Solo, and I put on the prop guards after I bumped a bush. No damage but it showed me that it doesn't take much to send a drone twirling out of control! However, EVERYONE in the groups I am on says they are worse than just "knowing how to fly". I will readily admit that I have a lot to learn and I am, but it seems like reasonable insurance to me, especially since I plan on getting my Part 107 very and them do inspections of buildings and sail boats and other things that will require outdoors flying but in close proximity to things that eat drones. So can you discuss the pros and cons of prop guards, both as a learning tool, and as a regular part of ones flying?
Great video. Way too many people seem to think that drones will never crash.
I can give mucho input on crashing for you folks. Do you have an opinion of the Yuneec H 520 Hexacopter ? Six rotor machines are touted to fly with one rotor out of commission ... I realize this is a DJI world, however, I like the Yuneec .
Hi Tony, how can I land to hand? Drone try too go higher every time. Even in sport mode...
You talked about interfercence in the air is it possible this could stall the motors on your drone ,has happened twice crashing to the ground ,
Haha “make sure you have plenty of GPS’es...” sorry, I couldn’t help it! 😂 great video Tony!

Koji 888 not in this context
Prudent advice. I just found that flying the drone in the city with steel buildings limits the number of GPS satellite connections, despite a large open space above water about 450' x 800'. In this case 4 satellites. I only went up about 75' and flew within line of site not more than 200' away but landing was very difficult. When I had the drone above me and pushed the descend stick, it drifted backwards, repeatedly. It took 5 minutes of monkeying with the controls before I decided to crash into a small tree where I could reach up and grab it. Perhaps switching to Attitude mode would have given me more control. What do you think, Tony & Chelsea Northrup?
I would like to use prop guards but too bad obstacle avoidance will be disabled on my phantom 4 pro.
The last time I crashed my Phantom was the first time I flew it. I didn't do a pre-flight and had the controller in atti instead of GPS mode. A gust of wind came along while it was still low to the ground, and I panicked and tried to land it quickly. It tumbled onto the ground. Fortunately it was grass, and suffered no damage.
I avoid "after market" batteries .. i have heard too many stories of battery failure or clasp that holds battery to drone failing. I only buy and pay a bit more for OEM batteries
I like the hint to fly in ATTI mode, but as you have that mavic air, how do you do that? As far as I know that is impossible…
Do you have to calibrate the compas each time before you fly?
Statefarm insurance may insure your drone in your state, check it out. Just got covered for mavic air, $ 60 a year I really enjoy your videos, thank you.
I was flying my dji mini2 using the quickshot mode and it crashed into a building when it was moving backwards. It fell somewhere on the top of that building but I have now retrieved it...Not gonna the quickshot mode anymore!!
Home points and properly calibrated compass are critical. I crashed mine like that once. Even made a pretty terrible video about it. Essentially I didn't calibrate the compass (this was maybe my 3rd or 4th flight ever) and didn't pay attention to the battery level while flying along a tight little stream, lot of branches and trees. The Spark went into automatic return to home mode, and tried to land about 7-10' from where it took off from. It "landed" in a tree and dropped into the stream before I could catch it. I put it in a big bag of silica gel beads overnight and everything was fine.
Tony, are you saying at 8:50 to reverse fly all the way home in that case?
but why my drone has a strange behavior in flight sometimes everything is fine and suddenly the drone starts to swing from right to left but why it does its ?
When using a computer to create a programmed, automated flight, ground truth the waypoints and flight path for altitude clearance and unknown obstructions before initiating the mission. I recently clipped a tree because satellite imagery was older than I realized. Essentially, to be safe, fly the mission manually before turning it loose.
Nice Longhorns hat! Let us know if you visit Austin
Great Video, I crashed my Karma today flying over my house. Winds were pretty light but I have a metal roof and was flying about 6' off of the roof checking the gutters with the camera. Bad decision. The controls became unresponsive and the drome slammed into the ridge about 4 seconds later. The drone then slid down the side of the roof with propeller debris flying. Lesson learned about flying too close to the house. Luckily, nothing appears to be damaged other than prop blades. I'll have to inspect the roof for damage. I'm thinking interference due to the metal roof or the wi-fi inside of the house. Any ideas?
I've heard twisting the drone can put unwanted stress on the motors over time. I prefer hand landing and holding down the stick and letting the motors cycle down naturally. Unless it's an emergency and you need to stop it immediately.
Had my protensic D85 out and all of a sudden it literally went belly up and fell from the sky flat on its back....how or why I do not know...I think I spun it around to quick and my battery maybe wasn’t locked tight so it dislodged and immediate fatal flight....or I was panicking and held down the power button.....good news it that it’s fine.....
Great video! My first crash was my first flight! Flew right into a tree. Pretty dumb...
Well the mavic air when it looses connection it will reverse it's course for 30 seconds till it reconnected if not rth is enabled
I lost the signal from my Mavic 2 Zoom behind a cliff or a huge rock surrounded by sea, and it apparently tried to return to home from there. I checked my remote and found it would return to home at the altitude, which means it would fly straight to the rock... I thought it'd be in the water, but i ended up finding its wee red light flashing at night right before its battery died, it has to be 57m above the sea level and I checked next morning, I doubt i can physically reach out..
So,,, If I rig up a parabolic directional 802.11 antenna (25-30 db of gain) and connected to a high power 802.11 device (such as an outdoor unit), then point it at a drone (on the same channel of course) I could render it uncontrollable?

hey guys, when using syma drone, specially series of X8c , use High mode when its windy day, first time of crash, flying in so much windy day in night, flying it above the trees, then wind comes, i went out of control for the drone, and panic, and i saw my drone got stuck in such a tall tree, thanks to the windy night, the drone fell because of the trees shaking so bad, and it fell in a high place, good thing nothing is broken. 2nd was just normal crash at a low part of a tree(branch), (cause of wind) 3rd was terrifying, i flew it again in afternoon with such a great wind again, and i flew it even more much higher than tree levels, now the wind starts to take the drone, i tried to fight the wind with forward, but forward is not enough for the drone, and it just went backwards when im pushing forward, the wind was so strong the drone went straight backward until it went as small as it is and got blocked by the roofs of the neighbors houses, and i ran to its direction, and tried to find it, and i saw it in a backyard at the other houses, like 500m away from our house, i found it in 30m of finding it, i was so nervous that time. still got my syma X8HC here =)
can you use Mavic air without inernet ?
...and never, ever use cheap aftermarket batteries. "Saving" a few bucks on batteries will likely translate into failure mid-flight in the *sooner*-than-later future.
@kevindiaz3459

Same applies to camera batteries, though in a less critical way. Your camera isn't going to crash to the ground just because the battery died, LOL! Aftermarket batteries suck!!
@d_dave7200
6 жыл бұрын
Aftermarket Canon or Nikon camera batteries are no problem at all. The batteries on those cameras last forever anyway (comparatively). So even if they suck and only have 75% of the capacity (which hasn't been my experience, but let's assume that), it's still going to last a really long time. I can't remember the last time I needed more than 2 batteries out with me, even with aftermarket ones. EDIT: Well, unless you use a lot of live view I suppose. Then I've no idea. What I said only applies to a traditional stills photographer who uses the viewfinder.
@kevindiaz3459

Aftermarket batteries tend to stop holding charge much sooner than brand name batteries. I've had Canon batteries that lasted years. I only had one aftermarket battery, it came bundled with a Rebel I bought in 2009. I didn't really use it that much, but after a year it stopped holding charge. The canon battery is still good now, as is the Canon battery that I bought to replace the aftermarket POS. This is a common issue with aftermarket batteries, and the more frequently they are charged the sooner they die.
@d_dave7200

There are plenty of junk aftermarket batteries, you just need to research them carefully and look for well-reviewed ones. I'm yet to have one stop holding a charge out of the 6-8 I currently own. It's possible they don't last as long as they did when they were new (which is true of all batteries to be fair), but they all last too long for me to even notice if that's the case. The issue is that people just buy whatever and expect them to work. There are too many companies making aftermarket batteries to make generalizations, but you are likely to have good results if you stick to the best ones.

You Know this and i know this... but to some people saving money is more important. I've given up trying to tell people this. I never use aftermarket anything in my Gear. I speak from experience.. and naturally some will have the opposite experiences- thats good for them. I'll bet that they might even come from the same plant.. I have aftermarket batteries "puff up" and some just dont hold a charge anymore.The savings to me are just not worth it.
in syma, when its windy day, they call it high mode, low mode, they tilt much deeper in high mode, and in low mode, winds take them and crash em in to trees, x8c burh
My phantom4 has just been fixed under warranty by DJI...I'm 90% sure I didn't push the battery in fully. Shouldn't really be ABLE to take off in this instance though. I'm not sure if that's why they assumed liability, or because they just couldn't prove otherwise. Crash happened 10 secs after takeoff, 20ft off the ground.
Very good video, thank you. I just got the upgraded JJRC X9P Heron, and I have yet to try and fly it for more than 5 seconds. Indicator lights are all correct. GPS signal is perfect. Batteries are fully charged. Take off works perfectly, but after a few seconds it just falls to the ground. I have three batteries total (all have been charged) and have tried switching of course. I am really at a complete loss. It is brand new..!! It never took damage from any fall because on every single test I have taken off near grass field in case it would crash and also I never had time to get it higher up than maybe 2 meters. Can anyone please help me out? Everything seems to be correctly calibrated (based on indicator lights). What can make a drone just crash out of nowhere? The tips in this vid are all good advice, but I need advice for a much earlier stage in the flight.
The only serious crash I have ever had was when the Phantom 1 (yes I still fly the old thing) was hit by a huge gust of wind at the beach and it west straight for the nearest tall pine tree. My instinct was to push the drone up over the top of the tree and of course it didn't make it and got stuck near the top. It was rescued by a young chap from Fisheries WA who was way fitter than me and went up the tree like a monkey :) If I had chosen to push the drone down instead of up, it would still have crashed but would have been in a spot that it was more accessible. Thankfully the only damage was a broken prop. Still flying it and got some nice footage last week.
Just wanted to comment on your Occupy Mars shirt. Nice.
so your saying all the range tests videos I've seen are illegal because there out of line of sight?
I crashed many times but 1 time I'll mention is when I watched video from 51 drones where we set the stick motion for more cinematic video. So when you stop the drone it goes an extra distancec and comes to a slow stop instead of an abrupt one. After taking it out the very day I crashed into some wires because of the mis calculation. My own fault for sure but I would have liked Russ to say........... Hey here's what could happen. All good now. You live and learn.
I was flying my Mavic Air 2 a month ago and ignored the low battery. It ended up slowly landing off the county road I live on about 100 feet in a tall grassy area. Luckily DJI had a very accurate locater for lost drone and I waded out in 4 foot tall grass and found my drone unharmed. Now I return home as soon as the drone tells me to!
Thank you Tony...... For reminding me of all the reasons I shouldn't buy a drone. I've always wanted one, but then I see videos like this and realize I probably don't have enough skills or nerves to do it successfully

Mike E Gadget Tech No, you should face your fears. Lots of fun. I now have a Spark, cheap. Relatively.
#11 Reason for crashing a drone: Saying, "Hey, watch this!"
Does that tilt move work on the Mavic Pro?

Yeah. It works on all the DJI drones that I've tested (though I don't know how I'd do it with an Inspire!). With the Mavic Air you can just land it in your palm, but that's the only drone it really works on.
Nothing to do with drones but what was this filmed on? visually this video looks fantastic.

I’ll make this simple. Why did you buy a Maverick Air? Enjoy you videos. I’m just a newbie with 2 + years of toy Drones and 3 DJI birds now.
A friend of mine crashed his drone into a tree and couldn´t get it down again. Then 1 year later I climbed on the same tree and got his drone back down it stayed there during snow, rain and in the sun and it surprisingly still worked fine after that.
Point three! Planned a really epic shot at a construction site I had the drone in my sight but I was so caught up in getting the shot I forgot to look up when I was backing up and the rear rotors got caught in some cables and sent the drone spiraling down about 18 meters! Ended up loosing my gimbal the rest of the drone survived tho 🤣
I need a Mavic Pro with subspace communication and ocular implants.
Tony's an expert in all 10.... lol.
I first try to set it up in the kitchen didn't know out I was doing pushed the lift off button it went to ceiling fan so I garbed it and it eat my hands up blood every where
I taught my mavic air has hovered higher the tree, so i use sport mode , as i boost the drone it immediately hit the trunk. .... Gimbal broke
I crash my drone every time I have all my needed shots covered, but decide I just "have to have" another shot...
