MegaNinten 007 I don’t think fabs hate her, but she is just very ‘obvious’ in her advertisement of sexuality. Bot a bad thing at all, but I think its nice to see some slightly less stereotypical picks, like Chizuru or King. I think most people love Mai, myself included, but shes at 10 for me.

Kinda surprised Athena didnt make it in, after all shes an adult too if I remember right. Kyo mocks her for wearing a sailor suit because of her age, where Athena replies that its a return to her roots.

My favorite waifu of all time, from any game in history, ever since 1993 when I first saw her as a kid, is actually a King of Fighters character now, even if she didn't start out that way. It's Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, and now that she is in a main KoF game, I hope she counts for this list. I've loved Nakoruru since the 90s and I was so happy to see her added to KoFXIV.

Mai Shiranui. Ninjas are cool, but having a ninja think that they are a super hero is insanely dope. I always liked how the team expanded on her real bout fatal fury kimono victory. Wished they brought those back. Heck, even her manga intro for KoF14 was incredible. A fox bride transform! I always liked her kits. When they started blending in her Real Bout sets to KoF, it felt just right in a sense.

No complaints here, you checked all my boxes! Vanessa, Blue Mary, Leona, Shermie, even King and a shoutout to Mai in the honorable mentions 10/10

In terms of "wife" potential, I think King is the best because of how she acts towards Ryo. Glad you like Whip. I think she is vastly underrated, and she has a really cute face in XIV. "Wait...Vanessa is only #6, and Shermie #3? But how? Why?" "#2: Chizuru" "NEVER MIND! YOU ARE FORGIVEN FOR BEING A TRUE MAN OF CULTURE!" And you also forgot one more detail about Chizuru: she's rich. And maybe she isn't very popular because she is a pain to fight against... Athena will always be best girl for me, but she belongs to Kensou and is the ship that I support, so she is not waifu material for me. Chizuru on the other hand...you got good taste my man. I'm surprised that you did not mention Yuri considering her popularity. That's ok. I'm not a Yuri fan anyway... You forgot about Elisabeth! Then again...everyone forgets Elisabeth... So you give Leona the teenage exception but not Nakoruru? How could you exclude Nakoruru man? She's over 500 years old! :p Awesome video. I'm glad you made it for your audience to get to know you better as well as explaining why Chizuru is featured in several of your videos. In all honesty, I think King is my favorite female character. It's weird, KOF is the first series where I didn't have a decisive favorite female character. I'm going to say it's probably because they are all so good!

Pretty good list man. I like Vice more than mature but you got her in the honorable mentions at least. Between your picks and honorable mentions I think you addressed all the ones I would have picked. With the possible exception of Yuri, I think she's 20 now in the story so Chris Hansen should not appear if you go to meet her. This video actually makes me think of all the ships SNK has going. I wish they'd move King and Ryo along a bit, it's been long enough, lol.

Either the Wiki is wrong or some cloning thing went in whack cuz otherwise K' (about 18) will have an older sister who is two years younger than him lol XD Actually, the K' has a soft spot for people younger than him, the way he treats Leona, Kensou, and Athena makes me think that he's probably more 19 if anything (likely not 20 since that's Japan's legal drinking age and K' can't drink according to King lol)

@@kunfupandarofl Whip or, Seirrah is based off of K's dead sister, who at the time of kidnapping by N.E.S.T.S was 16. So, she's basically permanently a 16yo girl lol. Unless we are counting years from their debut, but canonically speaking, for one reason or another, the characters dont age from year to year. They only age in the canon time skips. I.e Terry from KOF vs Terry from G.M.O.T.W. I'm sorry, Whip is still a minor. A deadly one, but I minor no less lol.

@@kunfupandarofl As far as K is concerned, he's said to be between 15 and 17. Though his age has never been revealed. Seeing that he's a genetically enhanced human vs a direct clone, he is still capable of aging. Unlike Whip. This applies to Kula and Sylvie as well. Genetically enhanced kids.

tbh I think Mai is probably least likely to be #1 for SNK fans who know about other SNK characters. I think non-SNK fans tend to know Mai just like how everyone knows about Chun Li and Cammy regardless of what they're into.. well... for cuz they know nothing about the characters, their other assets are the first to catch the attention ;p

@@illgeteverythingback I personally don't like Athena that much but she's actually pretty smart, mature, and nice for her age. She shows concerns and respect to people who are generally hated/misunderstood and is genuinely and generally a very caring person. For example, she asks about Shingo when he's hospitalized, she asked about her fan Jhun who got injured chasing after her poster. She's also psychic so she can see a bit of the inner minds of people. She sees Duo Lon's sadness, sees that deep down K' is a nice guy, sees that Leona wasn't okay in XIII, and sees that Ash has resolved himself for something big and felt sad for his loneliness. She never backs out of a fight and always asks people to not go easy on her. I personally like people who are less "annoying" like you'll put it like King, Elisabeth, and Love Heart, but I do still why a bunch of people would love Athena :)

Athena is my number 2. She's just so cute and lovable.

1 - Leona : The character that introduced me to KOF, I saw an fan art on a site and began to search. She's fun to play, has a excellent backstory (In terms of writing), her character design is amazing and her interactions with the Ikari team is very good as well. 2 - Vanessa : I'm a huge fan of Boxing, and when I saw Vanessa and her fighting style, I knew that I had to main. It's just so fun to play with her. Plus she's a MILF (jk, but I'm serious) 3 - Shermie : When not awaken by the Orochi blood, she's adorable and playful. I used to spam her taunt in 2002 against my friends just to piss them off. 4 - Angel : I'm not very good with her, but I love to see how she plays. And her interactions with other characters are so fun. 5 - King : the first character that I got my ass whopped. When you get caught in a Surprise Rose for the first time playing KOF, you know you'll be up to a ride.

That was a surprisingly good selection of waifus! Chizuru definitely deserves way more attention... I hope they'll add her in KOF XV! As for my top picks, I think I have to go for Vanessa, Shermie and Blue Mary 😍

Leona Heidern caught my eye back in 1995, while I was in an arcade at a market in Monterrey, Mexico. Her straightforward style and lack of flair was what drew me to her. Mind you, my hands aren't what they were twenty years ago, but I can still dish out a good beat down with her.

Plus isn't Yuri Robert's fiance in some games? Like AoF3? That'd be literal waifu status. I actually do wish the AoF characters were older in KoF. Not their correct main timeline ages, but 30ish would be fine to distinguish them from the Fatal Fury cast. Ryo has been depicted over 30 in a couple lesser known games, and if anything he looks cooler at that age. SNK's fanbase is getting older too, after all.

I knew Mary have some resemblance to Android 18! Thank God, I thought I was alone on this. This is an awesome list that I enjoyed but I think fans of a certain kunochi are going to be triggered. XD

My Waifu when it comes to KOF will always be Angel, I like her flirty/teasing nature and friendly attitude. Plus when she mimics a cat, it kind of warms my heart.

7:14 Funny thing is, The KOF All Stars Game's Valentines Day event further hinted that Whip might have a sadist side.

KOF fans trying to pretend that Mai Shiranui doesn't belong in the top 10 is like DBZ fans trying to ignore Goku. Judging by the comments, if this is the kind reception that she's been getting from the SNK fanbase, then perhaps she should just stay in the Dead or Alive franchise were she fits better. Since some of the comments equated her w/ Morrigan Aensland, then maybe the latter could follow her as well from the Capcom side.

Morrigan is a better character. Being overly "attractive" fits her persona since she is a succubus. Mai is supposed to be this refined ninja but at the same time she's desperately seeking attention which greatly clashes with what she is.

@@ShoryuGame I'm sure Michelangelo doesn't behave like the typical ninja either. The one detriment to Mai's character is her obsession w/ Andy. Hence, she's better off leaving him behind by staying in DOA. If anything, her signature costume fits her personality better than Kasumi's & Momiji's.

Angel my waifu by far. Love playing her, wish she had more story tho

Shoryu with the shocker! I was sure Mai would be the #1! And she didn't even make the list! Well done my friend lol. I personally had Shermie at 1, but I cannot argue with this list because Blue Mary rocks as a character. I never use twitter, but i hope those that do bookmark this video next time some screeches about the female form in video games. SNK has mastered the art of practical, sexy, and cool outfits on all their female characters that there is literally someone there for everyone to choose.

Chizuru will always be the best imo. She's beautiful, dodges attack by dancing, has an stylish outfit/fighting stance, has one of the best soundtracks in the series, and I just love her personality and backstory. Now please, for equal rights, do a list for the husbandos as well.

I do like Chizuru as a character the most, but Mature has to be the top waifu imo. Granted, she won't hesitate to kill you if she needs to and will take pleasure in your suffering as she does, but if she takes a liking to you (which you have to assume if you view a woman as a waifu), you get a beautiful and sophisticated yet cynical woman (to some it's a disadvantage, to me it's a huge bonus) who imbues pretty much everything she says and does with huge amounts of sexual energy while mixing it in with a polite demeanor (which is, to me, more alluring than Vice's raw and predatory kind of feel).

Also, lemme drop the waifu theme for a minute so FBI (actually SBU since I'm in Ukraine, lel) don't break my windows, because I have to mention one girl who could very much compete with Mature for the top waifu spot (which is ironic if you take some (really plausible) fan theories into account) if she was confirmed over 18. You may not like her voice (though I love it). You may not like her attitude (and this time I'd at least partially agree with you). But you can't deny you wish you'd find yourself a woman that loves you as much as she does her beloved one, that idolizes you as much as she does him and that is just as completely devoted to you. On top of that, she's cute as hell (at least, in her sprites and XI artwork) and very well-endowed (2003 and XIII artwork), especially for someone who's not yet a grown-up woman. Easy guess, right? Fast forward five years at most, and every other top waifu contender *shivers* as Rose Bernstein enters the chat.
