Actually, if you go by betting line rather than rankings, this wasn’t even an upset at all. Wake Forest were favored by 2 1/2 points.

Leave it to each school to decide on their own. There's no need for the NCAA to do a sweeping removal of a tradition. Some schools have strong plans that are well executed for court storming. If a school chooses to keep it, have a strong plan in place. Schools who want it removed, so be it. But, you don't just remove a traditional ritual for upset wins because a few schools were negligent.

@at1289 I acknowledge that Duke is in the Top 10 and makes the tournament most years. I also understand Wake Forest have been irrelevant recently. Still, the oddsmakers expected Wake Forest to win the game. If the betting lines favored Duke, I would have agreed it was an upset.

I'm not really into Basketball that much. More of a college football fan but I do think storming the field or court is dangerous for both players and students. I get that it shows passion form the fanbases but one day something really bad is going to come from it.

Storming the court should be allowed especially when the home team gets a big win like this. And as I said the players need to get off the court immediately before the fans storm it.

Until today, Duke won 8 out of 10 against WF. Since 2000, Duke has beaten WF 39 of 48 meetings. So, yeah....I see your point, but the crowd storming was legit, except for how it was excuted.
