Duke is clearly more talented man by man, but Clemson showed that grit and experience count as much. The Duke players better start to want it more if they want to get to the second week of March.

What a high octane competitive game from both teams. Very exciting both teams played a tactile game with grit. These kids should all be proud.

How was is garbage? Look up foul on proctor, and there is a slo-mo clip of it. He clearly got hit on the arm, and arm is not part of the ball. That really throws a player's shot off

I’m a Clemson fan, but that was really good work by Proctor getting that contact. He made the ref make a call one way or another. My guys in orange will learn from this.

​@@victorlassiter8827 I actually missed 8:24, which is a definite reach-in foul, but 8:26, is just Proctor doing some NBA-level initiating contact. Savvy stuff from a pure basketball standpoint.

Idk what play you were watching but there was not enough contact to justify that call. Proctor comes barreling down the court out of control and flopped as he was going into the air. Not to mention the whistle was blown LONG after the shot was made. Refs probably had a lot on this game.

They angle may not show it but there is another angle where the Clemson player as he is raising his arms goes into Proctor and his arms aren’t straight up. That is what they called but this angle doesn’t show for it. Smart by Proctor for going into him and forcing the ref into a decision

That was a HORRIBLE play by Procter at the end. Guy went 1 on 4 with 7 seconds left, and didn't even consider passing the ball. He's lucky he got fouled. I'm a big Procter guy, but that is JV ball type sh!t

Hilarious they needed a foul call to beat 3-4 clemson. Duke has lost some shine ever since coach k left and after they lost in the final 4 to unc. A team of individuals won’t beat a team that plays together (unc).

Watch the slo-mo video on here of it. I didn't think it was a foul either watching this highlight, until I watched it in slo-mo, and it is clearly a foul. You can't hit a player on the arm and not throw their shot offf

I'm a Clemson fan, but watching the play at the end in slow motion, it looks like the Clemson defender got him on the hand/forearm. So I say that was the right call. But then again, it looks like Duke's Proctor "cleared out" that same defender with his forearm just prior to the shot, at 8:25. If you're gonna call the fouls, call all of the fouls - it should have been an offensive foul, and Clemson ball with 1.5 seconds left.

Was a foul on filipkowski. Wasn’t a foul on proctor. College officials have been especially bad this year and this adds to it.

I'm absolutely shocked that the refs gifted a win to Duke. That's gotta be a first......

I guess the ball handler clearing with his elbow at the free-throw line was not a foul, yet the officials regard an offensive player jumping into a defensive player who is going straight up as a foul on the defender. The epitome of the home-court advantage. Heck of a game; regardless, the outcome was determined by poor officiating.

That's a horrible call. Until a call like that becomes reviewable, the door is open for choreographing games, but I think that's what the NCAA wants. They like to keep things interesting.
